So Rick was the one who came back... look at that! It makes sense that Carol would only leave if Judith and RJ's parents came back as she was one of their primary caretakers. I do think there will be some guest appearances in other spinoffs. For example, when Carol sets off to find Daryl, she's probably gonna consult with Rick and Michonne about it before she goes. There's no way Rick and Michonne can exist in this world without ever being seen again. No matter if it's just a cameo.

I loved this episode, it was about Romance between Rick and getting home which happened. We still got daryl season 2 which might lead into to daryl and rick reunion 🙌🏼

Jack's World

Find it hard to believe that Carol was so lackluster in her response to Daryl on the radio, real bummed about this finale & what it means for TWD as a whole

Jack's World

NGL, the acting by the actor playing RJ fell incredibly flat for me which was a big thing that took me out that scene :/

I enjoyed this ep! Rick & Michonne reunited with their kids which is all I wanted. And the show overall was about closure for Rick Grimes and we got that so I’m satisfied. Would I have liked more eps? Yes but they did what they could with what they got.

Thoma

Yes. We definitely need a Rick and Daryl reunion.

I was thinking about the radio reveal back on the Daryl Dixon spinoff, how Carol sounded kinda weird on the radio. I'm wondering if it's gonna be a bait and switch like the Daryl v Maggie we got back in the Commonwealth arc. I think they filmed the Daryl soldier reveal scene different, at first it was supposed to seem like Daryl and Maggie were going to face off, then we get the scene again and it's really him trying to get her to trust him? Maybe we get the radio message from Carol's perspective and it's not lackluster so much as overwhelmed at Rick/getting resources from the CRM. Overall great episode, the reunion was all I wanted out of this and we got it.
