Lejla Subasic

LOVING the reactions! I just had to become a Patreon member, thanks so much for the early access - hope you keep enjoying the ride, and all the cliff hangers haha! :D

hex1c

I don't think i ever seen the guys this excited and loud in any other reaction. Im glad AoT has gotten its claws into more people. Its one of the best animes ever.

krai

I love that no one in the crew caught on Annie until the end. The surprise is more extreme.

Alyek

The fact that you guys weren’t suspecting Annie one bit makes this the best reaction to this episode i’ve seen😭 man i don’t regret joining the patreon for this

GooseToes

This show is great for showing how animation is simply another medium to tell a story. Like books, comics, live action, plays, etc. If you continue to watch anime you'll discover there's tons of different genres, like action fantasy romance etc. There's so many different types of shows to watch and lots that I'm sure y'all will love. Can't wait for more attack on titan lol it's definitely one of my favorites

Eric

lol that is why people said to paid attention to everything but to me it was enjoyable to see you discover who the Titan was in this moment. Remember that originally this is a comic (manga) and after each chapter people waited for a new one and could reread/rewatch, so for manga readers it was definitely easier to look closer for the clues. You can look for them in the anime too, but the pace is different here. Enjoy it anyway you like.

Feli Moon

In 2 to 3 hours I'll watch with you guys. And I'm soooo excited. 🤩

J Knight

Answer needs to get a scout regiment suit for season 2 🤩

Jessep

I'm glad you guys enjoy the show. It's one of the few that I can say it gets better with each season, any information on the screen matters even a glare a glance or random scene haha. Can't wait for Season 2 YSBG

Norberto Ramirez

now I can scream :D FEMALE TITAN was BLONDE!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D u guys suspected everybody.. Mikasa, Levy, Eren's mother.. :D :D but not the freakin BLonde girl.. :D :D anyway fun reaction.. :D :D

Ivan Rasmussen

I can understand Mason Quinn's points and the first time watching there was a ton being thrown at me too. I will say watching it in Dub DOES help so you don't have to read everything and also doing 3 to 4 episodes at a time helped me too because the storylines go on a long time in this show. But great stuff guys :)

The only time I ever heard them close to this hype was for one piece & that’s saying a lot !!

Ashtail Foxclaw

I thought they were gonna realise it was Annie because they figured out Eren back at ep 7-8, but the realisation was fantastic.

Isabel Schertel

I totally get what Mason Quinn was saying about not remembering Annie. I had the same thing with two other characters who became a little more significant later on. There really are so many characters & names thrown at you, it's hard to remember everyone right from the start. But you guys are probably the first reactors that I've seen that didn't immediately know who the female titan was, considering how similar she looks to her human form :D

Neh

For Mason Quinn, she was with them throughout the whole training for 2 episodes in the beginning she taught Eren a few moves on how to fight. She was also in episodes 6 and 7 during the time Eren was a Titan, she had a few lines. And the last time we saw her I believe was after the scouts closed a wall up with Eren and the giant boulder.

Angel

Annie is my favorite character in aot but I still understand that not everyone will remember her from the trainee days in s1 lmao I'm just glad your reactions are genuine!

V STAN

I love that no one suspected Annie lol

Emily

I think to the point of what Mason Quinn said, is what is so clever about Annie's reveal. A lot of people forgot she existed. I know I did my first watch. I totally didn't realize Annie was inside the Female Titan, and looking back it makes perfect sense but that's hindsight.

Trevor Evans

Thank you for putting out 3 episodes today!!! You guys are awsome✊️

Ushna Seeam

By the time we got to Annie's reveal and none of them had still figured it out, I was rubbing my hands with glee and saying, "They're going to be SHOOK!" And they did not disappoint! So satisfying! 😂

She's one of my favorites too! So glad to see someone liking her, I feel like she's one of the most overhated characters.

Harlee

“Who the F is Annie?” 😆

L AH
>>133990270

Mason Quinn is the best haha. I also had difficulty remembering her my first time watching so I totally understand his confusion

Goodspot

One thing I'd like to mention is, Annie and Eren/Armin were closer in the manga, than what they portrayed in the anime. That's why it hit them so hard and led to all the disbelief. That's one thing that always confused me as well, until I read the series.

Angel
>>133980101

She's one of those characters where 50% of the fandom hates her and the other 50% is obsessed with her. And in japan they love her believe it or not. Believe me when the manga was still ongoing, people were begging Isayama for more of her every month or speculating about her and he was answering questions about her in interviews lmao, she's very controversial but I love it.

Mhyyy

prepare for more shocking revelations 🤣

Marbelis

It always amaze me how eren titan looks a bit like eren and female titan looks like Annie and the show takes you on a path that we don't notice until it is on our noses 😂

Kel

Mason not even remembering Annie is the best thing because when I first watched I’d completely forgotten about her too. But with me it’s mostly because I never liked her and was glad she went to the MP’s, then she was out of my mind. So I find it hilarious that Mason forgot about her too.

Kel
>>133988548

I kept thinking Mason was catching on the whole time due to his facial expressions, like he was thinking really hard and putting it together. But no, it was more “Who is this character and why should we care?” 😂

Kel
>>133968770

Imagine how much more hype they’ll be as the show goes on and gets crazier.

Jonah Bertorelli

what's with that 3 second pause between 1 and go. lol

Arudorin

THIS! This is why AOT is freaking great! i love yall reaction woo!

Jay

I love how into the show Oak is

BennLimos
>>133973420

There are even two blonde girls during the Female Titan debut. I was surprised they didn't suspect Krista when she appeared right after Armin, Reiner and Jean confrotned the Female Titan. At this point in the show I remember my theory was anchored on Annie's unmistakable Pakunoda nose.

BennLimos
>>133980003

They made sure she was given enough appearances but not too much to stand out. But god her nose is a dead giveaway lol.

BennLimos

AoT does not always give you answers but when it does...

Angel Zane

Don't worry Mason Quinn, this show really does throw a lot of information at you at once so I can understand where you're coming from!

XXI

I like the energy Mason's giving, and he doesnt even remember Annie 😅😆 thats okay Quin. I love that u guys are liking the show so much

Marco Gutierrez

And thus, we start down the road of Attack on Titan's many heartbreaking reveals. Brace yourselves boys, the road only gets bumpier from here.

Hannah N
>>133980101

Same! For me she's tied as my favorite with one other character who they haven't met yet

CT

Still one of the most iconic reveals ever!

Ibrahim

Nah you good mason. We here for honest opinions not you saying everything was done perfectly. I was shocked too when I watched it cuz how of much I remembered annie.

Ibrahim
>>134035889

Annie is also anti social so her not standing out is what they was going for

Alexiani Gollarza

This Anime is going to give us amazing reactions from all of you but THIS is reaching the top 20 (because we'll have more ahahahaha) anyways, Mason, don't feel bad, I forgot who MArco was, who Annie was, you are correct, too many characters, too many dead, we just forget and that's part of how amazing it is

Kal

You know what's crazy? As much as you like this season... It's really only going to get better from here. As high quality as you find this season... Somehow it's still the weakest because the heights AOT reaches really *are* that astronomical. I'm also glad you guys are noticing the other going on in the background. The Military Police corruption, selling stuff on a black market which is now confirmed to exist, new guys such as Marlo wanting to change the system from within and the pressures that the system puts on them, the underlying politics and stuff with Eren and who he'll be under, etc. AOT fleshes out its world so well.

Sigmor

Its so crazy because now rewatching it, it felt like annie was present quite a lot, and when the female titan appears it seems so obvious its Annie. From the nose profile, but also the way she fights is a callback to her teaching martial arts to Eren and Reiner in one of the first episodes. But I didnt catch it on my first watch either, because I didnt know to look for it and thats just a lesson in amazingly subtle story telling and makes a rewatch very interesting, catching all those hidden details. In fact I am blown away by all the details, its so well planned out its crazy. Chekhov's gun done right.

Apollo

The show is so good to rewatch since you notice so many little details

Angel

Annie was a very quiet, cold, private individual, she didnt talk to many people- her bond with Eren and Armin is an anomoly bc of this and why they felt so stricken about her being a traitor. She didn't want people to see her so they usually didn't (even the instructor said she's flawless as a soldier but isolates herself from other people- so Its funny that Mason was kinda so passionate about not remembering but thats Annies job as a spy, she did what she was supposed to -even tho two of you definitely remembered her lmao) but she looks exactly like her Titan so its not uncommon for people to realize since we last saw her in ep 16 and the female Titan popped up in ep 17. One of my fave fan theories is before the anime even came out and we only had the comics (manga), one fan realized it was her just using the manga panels and also realized several other secrets of the story to the point I wonder if they were an insider giving us clues, this was YEARS ago and they realized it was Annie before the show, still amazed by it.

Scott Bringel

Sir Mason Quinn, remember the early days of boot camp where Eren asked Annie to to teach him how to fight and she whooped his ass? That was what first separated Annie from background characters.

Galadriel

Is there any way we could get the youtube version of this? (Sorry if I missed it somwhere). Patreon player keeps crashing for me and I have to use a vpn to access the website because it's banned where I live. Thank you!

Madi H

Isn't it funny how no one ever seems to realize that Annie is the female titan? As soon as I saw her on-screen the first time, I knew it was her! She just looks so similar, especially with her hair down. And have you noticed how her fighting moves are exactly the same? It's like she's not even trying to hide it!

Rena Unnie

I realized it was her, during the flashback (her dream at the beginning) in THIS episode lmao.

Ayaulym

I realized it was Annie as soon as I saw a female titan. I was even dissapointed, just like most people at the time, because it was so easily recognizable. I'm glad that at least for you it was a surprise.

Toknow Whyuneed

GIT EM OAK! Jesus that made me laugh so hard. Idk why.
