Spirited away! My fav movie of all time

Ron Banks

So, no idea If you all would like this movie at all but I’ll throw out a future movie suggestion for Spring Breakers. One of A24’s first big movies that pretty much put them on the map. Stars James Franco, Selena Gomez, Venessa Hudgens. Not claiming it’s a great movie necessarily but it’s…interesting. You can kind of watch that movie and see the future of A24 movies in it if that makes sense.

It's also perfect timing given how they just did Roadhouse, The Prestige, and it was Dune's Denis Villeneuve breakout movie.

C. J. Ramirez

Gran Turismo and blade let’s goooo

Nikki Jade

Been waiting for Blade 😊

It’s not on the line up but I’m hoping they do Blade Trinity too! I know it’s not received well but I think it’s a lot of fun, plus you have Triple H as a vampire! You can’t get better than that! 😂😂

I am so mixed on Click, the first half is just okay but the second half is where it becomes amazing! In my opinion probably one of Adam Sandler’s best performances.

Sarah

I actually love the 3rd one! Lol Parts 2 and 3 are my faves

I’ve watched it SO many times. For a long time it was my nieces favorite, it was the first movie she really watched, it was the movie we could put on & she would calm down if she had a tantrum 😂😂

Cojuancidence

Ghibli at last! The Live play is amazing* hope you watch them all! :D

RemyKatz

I would be surprised if Spirited away is a first watch for everybody. Somebody here has to have previous experience with Miyazaki’s films. Man is on the animation Mount Rushmore.

ektril

Just can't wait for Spirited Away!! Question: Is there a content available only for Patreon subscribers?

Liam

The Prestige and Heat??? Those are movies I'm surprised you haven't seen

ektril

romaiiiii

As a big fan of anime, I have yet to see any Hayao Miyazaki films. So I'm looking forward to watching spirited away with you all!

Brooksie

I can't believe how excited I am to watch click with you guys lmao. It's my childhood

Eric Wallace

I know diamond dave lives in an editting bay and you guys do A LOT of reactions, but if you can squeeze in Godzilla Minus One this month i think it will pop on youtube

It's on the list. We missed the window for Shin Godzilla. We were hoping to have that for May, but no luck finding it.

AJ

Gran Turismo and Moana!!!!!!

Kaley

YES! MOANA 🌊⛵️🇼🇸🐷🐔

Mintteacup

You can 100% watch the Ghibli movies (spirited away etc) in English by the way. Compared to most anime these are generally considered the best dubbings. I'm a sub watcher myself but these are amazing.

Jasmin

I'm so excited for MoonKnight

Aria Isara

Aaah Gran Turismo was among those that I was waiting to watch in case you react to them 😄👍 I've never seen Moana, Dune or Blade 2 so it will be the occasion to discover them. MoonKnight is gonna be lots of fun, one of the top tier Marvel shows for sure. Can you guys make sure you have a slot for an Indian movie in June? Because the next series after MoonKnight will be Ms Marvel, the heroine is south asian and I know there are references to Shah Rukh Khan in the show, they talk about him and his movies. He has been the biggest superstar in India for the past 30 years and his movie Jawan was the highest grosser in 2023, I recommended the movie before to you guys. I think it would be cool if when they mention SRK in Ms Marvel you already know who he is 😊

Aria Isara

Also, very unpopular opinion, but I watched Spirited Away a looong time ago and didn't like it at all 😩 The plot felt like an acid trip lol. But I'm not against trippy plors so maybe I didn't pay enough attention or was doing something else while watching? Curious to see your reactions and maybe understand if I missed something.

Cat

Can wait to see the Oak watch Mona, I hope he loves it just as much as Coco because for me I feel like the brought this animation to live and it tugs at the heart strings. Also I’m so happy you guys are doing it in my birth month. Can’t wait to see what you guys do for the 23th

Wonderxfull

Spirited Away?! Awesome!! My favorite Studio Ghibli movie, watching it makes me feel like a kid again. Feels like being under a warm blanket when its raining outside when I think about it. Can't wait to see what you think!
