Fallout day!!

Jeff K

That poster near the beginning for "A Man and His Dog" is a reference to a real movie called "A Boy and His Dog" that's actually one of the inspirations for the Fallout franchise. It stars a young Don Johnson as a guy surviving alongside his dog in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Interestingly, that movie is set in 2024. Also, this is probably my favorite episode of the first season, mostly because they just absolutely let Walton cook from start to finish. By the way guys: when Lucy goes into that classroom and unfurls the flag, that's the theme from the games playing. Absolute chills when I first watched the episode.

Hey Dave, are we still getting both eps 7 & 8 next week?

Oh damn, has he said that before? That would be fantastic. And guys, just saying, next Thursday is my 15th wedding anniversary so Dave, you could just consider it an anniversary gift to me! Haha

Yes, they were baby gulpers. Remember at the beginning, the little tidbit about Vault 4, what the scientists said their purpose was.

Yeah he mentioned that was the plan in the comments on the ep 1 full length post.

Walter goginns was the secondary villian in ant man and the wasp 😆 Definitely deserves better

Exploring theories is all part of the fun. This show is great with giving us answers filled with more questions.

Remember, Vault 4 was the five year “test” vault filled entirely with scientists and their families. They were in there when the bombs fell. They had to do something for food. Also, give Vault-etc scientists free rein with no supervision….some weird stuff is going to happen.

The caviar and other food isn't fresh. All the "old world food" found in the game is over a hundred years old. It's the game/show making a joke at the gross amount of preservatives that are used in food. Think of twinkies lasting after a nuke, but for all their boxed/canned foods. Yum-Yum Deviled Eggs are my favorite re-occurring reference in the show so far.

Since you are reaching the end of Fall Out and Shogun, I'd like to recommend 2 series 😊 SWEET TOOTH (Netflix) a 3rd and last season is upcoming. It's a post apocalyptic show where hybrid kids are hunted down, it follows the journey of one of these kids. Very original world, good suspense + a real emotional aspect. THE FAMILY MAN (Prime) 3rd season upcoming too. Set in India, it follows a special agent trying to dismantle a terrorist group, and having to balance work and family life. It has received lots of excellent reviews. The creators, Raj & DK, are known for mixing serious action and humour, and for their great filmmaking (long takes have become the trademark of the show). They have another good show on Prime, Farzi, about 2 friends starting a counterfeit money business, and they have another upcoming action series called Citadel: Honey Bunny which will be a spin off of the US show Citadel. I think you guys would really enjoy these 2! 🙂

I would like to recommend “Sweet Home” to you. Since Fallout is ending soon. It’s a korean show about kind of a zombie apocalypse. There are 2 seasons and the third is coming out this summer. Great characters, well written story and amazing cast.

Donna Castellano

Watch The Shield. Walton Goggins' character in that is so great. The whole cast is incredible tho.
