I think My Hero Academia would be a great anime follow up pick for you guys (anime-wise)after you finished AoT at the end of the year😇 subbed not dubbed.

Feli Moon

I'll watch in a couple of hours. Ahhhhh I'm so excited!!!

@Scho Back ? Nothings wrong with my hero. It was one of the most watched anime’s in the world for a reason 😂 though as someone above said I feel like they would jam with death note more

Peeker
>>138516136

i feel like demon slayer is a better fit for them as demon slayer has way less fanservice

Peeker

bertholdts speech always gets to me. personally, i cant help but feel bad for him

Peeker

just a quick question. i get that you have to blur the episode cause of copyright issues but will it be the same if you unblur just the subtitles? or is that too risky?

Julio Salazar

Dave S3s intro is a banger but its not what you expect. Theres a running joke in anime when that kind of intro music is played it means your protags are in for some thing big lol

I'm Batman

For a second I misheard y'all and I was thinking y'all were gonna take a 3-4 year break from season 3, my heart about dropped lol.

Ivan Rasmussen

That Erwin moment will go down in history as one of the coolest moments I've seen in animation. No quit in that man

Chuck Norris
>>138516136

@CT you can say it was one of the most watched but people who don’t like anime (me) it’s a much harder watch compared to AOT, Vinland, and Death Note

Rena Unnie

It was funny to see Diamond cheering while Erwin got his arm chomped off. (i know he noticed after, but still hilarious). And Mikasa, as usual, no a single care in the world! Nobody touches Eren! <3

Artem Dmytrenko

btw, end credits do make sense, but what sense - will be revealed only in later seasons.

Pathetic_Effort

I also thought Armin was girl for like the first few seasons on my first watch as well lol

Bonnie Hughes

Its amazing that titan could carry Erwin with the weight of his massive balls of steel

Death note is both shorter, and much more darker, it’s also smart and definitely a perfect fit for next anime. They should watch top of the top shorter shows like Full metal alchemist, nobody better recommend dragon ball or Naruto with their 700 episodes lol, need to get them used to Anime and its quirks and stuff.

Bambina

Would watching Jujutsu Kaisen be a possibility? It’s one of the most popular new gen anime right now, it has 2 seasons and a movie, next season is expected to arrive next year. It won 9 awards from Crunchyroll Anime Awards this year, the most out of everybody.

Erin Dias

As a big fan of AoT and Transformers, I’ve always believed Erwin to be the Optimus Prime of AoT, lol. And a lot of people make that comparison! Since his first appearance in this show, the way Erwin takes charge and deals with what is thrown at him is just perfection. It was this scene, though, that really hooked me in on his character. The way he gives orders and encourages his soldiers on even within the mouth of a Titan… I always get chills when I watch it! Anyways, great reaction, y’all! Due to Erwin and Mikasa (and all of the others chilling on Reiner’s hands to chat with Bertholdt), this is one of my favorite episodes, and it was wonderful to hear y’all’s opinions on it!

Also, they "hated" spirited away as they didn't undestand it, so deffo dont reccomend some over the top animes that only a Veteran Anime Watcher would understand. Only recommend shows that are viable for a first time anime watcher, like family or friends :) Suggestion - Death Note / hands down probably one of the best animes to watch as your first anime and also AOT !

Rex Tan
>>138520917

Yeah, the three of them were grimacing hard and Dave just out there clapping his hands and cheering lol I cant

ysmay

Re-watching this episode immediately sent me on a wave of nostalgia, to this day I find it amazing and memorable for all the action and despair, but especially because of Erwin being an absolute beast of a commander, Armin's precise predictions and gut-wrenching assessment of Bertholdt, and Mikasa's blood thirst. Both Mikasa and Armin's sacrifice of their humanity, so to speak, in this episode being highlighted by their "creepy" approaches is top tier.

Peeker
>>138516136

wait they hated spirited away? that sucks tbh. i haven't even watched the movie but i know its rlly good so its surprising to hear that they didn't like it

Nick [ iNiKKo ]
>>138516136

Yes, they thought it was recommended as a joke... Oak gave it a 0.5.. only because of a Dirty river that showed in the Movie that reminded him of a river in their town, otherwise it would of been a 0.

Nick [ iNiKKo ]
>>138517487

I think the subtitles are copyrighted by Crunchyroll, they could potentionaly decrese the blur on the subtitles so its more visible.

peachy af
>>138516136

that's extremely disappointing they hated spirited away... but bnha is far too much fanservice for 4 grown men... i think it's decent personally but i wouldnt recommend it to them. death note is better

wanira 11

Man the last scene gave me chills, even tho I already watched the show before

Leslie Matsikiti

I said advance goddammit! Eren is right in front of you, DO NOT FAULTER

Ivan Rasmussen
>>138519688

I mean to be fair Season 3 has many cool scenes haha. But this scene was one that got really got me hooked when I was still a little unsure about AOT

Bambina
>>138525844

I know what you want to say, but as a Gojo fan, I’d agree to some extent, but they are popular for a reason and not only because that they are objectively good looking

Nick [ iNiKKo ]
>>138516136

The only reason I mentioned BNHA is since it has been strongly recommended, but I will definitely vote for Death Note after AOT.

Daanaa

Erwin is the most badass commander No hesitation just CHAAAARGE!!!

Harlee
>>138522187

lol, I don’t think your “sorry” covers your comment. Why AOT fans so testy?

Isabel Schertel

I feel like the writing at this point of the show is on the same level as basically all popular shows I could think of, but it's really insane how it just gets better and better until it reaches a level that I've personally never seen before.

Amber Walker

“Is there anything other than a 100% chance Eren transforms and takes that thing out” 👀

Arimpact

just call him Bernard at this point

Marco Gutierrez
>>138522187

It certainly doesn't help when you listen in Japanese instead of English. I've said it once and I'll say it a hundred times: Japanese voice acting sucks.

Marco Gutierrez

A little guide as to the names since you guys are struggling. I totally get it, the Japanese doesn't do a great job of pronouncing these accurately. Western names in Japan usually have some strange additions or pronunciations to them. Eren - Pronounced Eh-wren Mikasa - Pronounced like the first part of the popular Spanish phrase "mi casa es su casa" Armin - Pronounced Are-men Reiner - Pronounced Rye-ner Bertholdt - Pronounced Bert-old Sasha and Connie are how you would expect Jean - Pronounced in the French style, like John Erwin - Pronounced Air-ven Ymir - Pronounced Ee-meer Levi, Historia, and Hange you guys got right And I think that covers pretty much everyone that I can think of off the top of my head.

Alexiani Gollarza

The foreshadow in this episode, I had never caught on it before. Hell, this anime is a masterpiece. Also, yes, the outro matters, but you'll undertand soon enough. Also, Oak singing sasageo is amazing!!!!!!!!!

Violet Lebouf

Mikasa was my spirit animal in this episode!!! The utter RAGE in her eyes as she stared into Bertholdt's soul lololololol S/N: Captain Erwin's boss status shot up to 10000 after that one-armed assist

Sean Carroll

Ymir was basically lying. This is what she actually meant 1. Ymir believes living in the walls will lead to doom for everyone inside the walls eventually. 2. Ymir loves Historia and wants to save her, so she tells historia to come with her so she can live because she knows of Historias good nature. 3. The truth is Ymir knows that regardless she is going to die when she goes back with Reiner and Bertholdt but she believes she can still save Historias life from the doom coming to the people of the walls Ymir is very misunderstood by a large portion of the fanbase, she is not selfish, she is actually very selfless in that she is willing to sacrifice her life for Historias safety

Sean Carroll

I loved Erwin all throughout season 1 and what little we saw of him in season 2 but this moment is what solidified him as my favourite character in this show. Screw Levi, ERWIN IS THE GOAT

B23

this is my fave ep of the season 🥹 Bertholdt's monologue never fails to make me cry and of course, that Erwin moment WHEW!!! that's my commander 🫡

DmanUNT2014

" I think we know where this is going, right?" No. Not at all. Lol I always look forward to these reactions lol

Don Pham

“Is there not 100% chance” lol, not with AoT

AbraxasBelzebub
>>138516136

Yes! I´m also for My Hero Academia! I think it would be super fun for them to watch and equally as fun for us to watch them do it! X3

Mariia Chu

Hey guys! It would be really cool going forward if you guys could watch the ending credits song/scene once at the beginning of a new season, and then once again at the end, to see if it makes any more sense or has more significance in retrospect! A cool segment like that I feel would give you space to still watch it without having to do it every single episode. <3

Katryna Lavin

“Actually you can’t be over 100%” lol they really need to watch MHA now, figure out the way of going Plus Ultra

Peeker
>>138517487

@Nick i dont get why they cant just do that. they don't have to make it completely visible, just visible enough that you could guess what the words are

Badd Medicine
>>138517487

It's does get copyrighted. Even the light blur we do, get a copyright or blocked. And it happens on movies and other tv shows.

Peeker
>>138517487

@Badd Medicine dang that sucks. copyright laws are so extreme. the good thing is that i rewatched attack on titan so many times so i already know all the dialogue in every scene

Gigi
>>138516136

I feel like if they do consider reacting to another anime after AOT, Death Note, Vinland Saga or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood would be a better choice.
