before yall in the replies say its spoiling, its really not. nothing in the scene could make you guess exactly what was happening. and for the pictures, i looked at all the pictures in slow motion, there's literally nothing in those that we haven't already seen so none of them are spoilers. tbh, the 2nd opening for s3 has 100x more spoilers

i know im going to lose the debate overall but the after credits scene in that ep shows a scene in a future episode and therefore to me is pointless since they could just watch the episode where the scene occurs later

Please read: 1. The beast titan did not create the walls. Rod Reiss in this episode explained that the Founding Titan (Remember that name) created the walls using its power, and then wiped away peoples memories 100 years ago so humanity does not remember its history. 2. The Founding titan is basically invincible, however its true power can only be unleased when it is owned by a Reiss family member. 3. Frieda owned the founding titan, however she was too inexperienced to use it correctly and so when Erens dad Grisha arrived he had too much experience and stole the founding titan. 4. Grisha gave the founding titan to Eren (alongside his own titan power) when Eren ate Grisha 5. Eren now owns the founding titan power but because he is not of the Reiss bloodline is unable to use its full power. However he was able to control titans in the season 2 finale. The circumstances around this are currently unknown. 6. According to Rod despite the royal family owning the founding titan for some reason the owner would never save humanity from the titans (Rods dad and brother). Rod does not know why because he never owned the founding titan and therefore did not know the truth of how everything came to be the way it currently is. 7. Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie after after the founding titan for whatever they require it for, especially now Reiner and Bertholdt know Eren owns it after he controlled titans in season 2 finale. I hope this helps clear any misunderstandings

Answer brought up the interesting question of why Rod Reiss transformed into a Titan upon simply licking the serum. I think it's because his mouth had been cut by Kenny a few minutes prior to the transformation, so when he licked the serum, it got into his bloodstream through the cut in his mouth, just like it would have had he injected himself. But he didn't get the full dose of the serum, which is probably one of the reasons why he transformed into that grossly deformed Turkey Titan! 😆

Interesting, yeah if the royal family can wipe the titans why they haven't done it yet in 100 yrs? Is it simple to say that they are just following blind faith? Like passing down this tradition without even knowing the end game?

So, i don't know if it has been mentioned before but as long as you don't see the "To be continued" this means the episode isn't over and there will be post credits - If you see "to be continued", it's finished !

The end credit scene is meant to be watched, whether people like it or not is up to them. People gotta remember that s3 was split into two parts, meaning when part 1 was done, we had to wait a couple of months till part 2 started airing. The end credit scene is there for the sake to build up suspense for what’s to come in part 2. It doesn’t spoil anything, just to give the audience a feel of what’s going to happen in the next part. That’s why it exist in the first place and why it’s there to be watched

I've a feeling u guys had read a bunch of review of the season, careful with those It's always better having the show provide the answers than to risk having a random comment spoil something. Also, we viewers don't like when u guess before the reveal aswell :p Anyway, great reactions as always! Can't wait for Season 3 Part 2!!

You are right Mason Quinn, that is indeed how the walls were made, however it was not done by the monkey beast titan.. This was done 100 years ago, so he wasnt even alive by then haha
