Shadis realizing that he's a minor side character:

Sean Carroll

I think oak will appreciate this one. Keith is literally the Severus Snape of aot. Loved the kids mother and regretted the last conversation he had with her before she died and wanted to keep her son safe so did what he could in the background to save eren but realised he was special and had to push onward just like harry.

Sean Carroll

Please remember Keith, he plays a role later

Sean Carroll

Did you guys forget eren ate his dad to get his titan power?

Kel

WE ARE SO SO CLOSE. I’m way too excited for these episodes today.

Kel

Dave your song mentions during every intro are 👌👌👌. I laugh every time.

Butthats

One of my favorite episode, actually. I love Keith as a character.

Elijah Ramirez

EASILY one of my favorite episodes. So underrated too. Who would've thought we were going to get Keith as Snape.

Ushna Seeam

One thing I remember that really blew my mind when I first watched this episode was the reveal that Shadis had tampered with Eren's equipment back when Eren had been training as a cadet. It was not so much the reveal itself, but rather the fact that we were in season 3 but getting closure about such a small detail from season 1 episode 3, that impressed me. I was like, "How do you plan THAT far ahead?" 🤯

i think so but there is a looooot of filler and old anime tropes that are not really -casual anime watcher- friendly

Alexiani Gollarza

No worries Diamond, we aren't tired of hearing you speak again and again about the song xD

Patience

Great Reaction, LURV you guys with this Anime

Tiffany

This is actually one of my favorite episode of this season. It fills in some questions I didn’t even know I would have asked and answers such a minor detail from Erens cadet days about his belt being tampered with. I remember being like “wow, I wasn’t even thinking about this but thank you”. And then the speech Erens mom had, I think it’s really important. He’s special, because he was born in this world🥹. Great reaction guys 💚

Speak for yourself, masons dislike every week got annoying after a while. I don’t care that he doesn’t like it but hearing it every single week was annoying

Miki

mason quinn man wow i literally cant elaborate more without spoiling lol

I know they watch many other things so its hard for them to remember everything...But they talk so often about wanting more and more answers, yet sometimes I wonder if they remember information already given to them. It would be good if they talked it out before ending episodes. Otherwise... We are heading to opposite complains about too much information.🤣

It's important to know all of the given info before going further !

The scary thing is they want the basement so badly (understandable) but these guys recently don’t remember key information that the basement will be way too much for them to handle. They will seriously need like 3 or 4 watches of the basement episode to understand everything

I was worried when they were talking about Levi injecting titan serum. It seems they didn't understand that he would turn into pure titan. It will get really messy later if that's the case😱

Right? And I wasn't sure if he did it to test him or in some kind of anger for being the son of Carla and Jaeger.

Minerva Ravenclaw

Keith Shadis one of the most underrated characters, brilliantly written.

YESSS, everybody always hates on him but personally I love his character and how he develops in season 4. He might be an a$$hole, but he is such an interesting character.

Fatipapi

sigh.... i mean no disrespect, truly.. but i feel like you guys sometimes just dont pay attention at all. Youve literally seen how titan powers (like eren, ymir, reiner, annie etc.) get transfered.. by getting eating by a 'dumb' titan. You have literally seeeen erens dad take eren into the woods to change him into a titan and have him eat him so he can give him the powers eren has now. And yall are still wondering if the beast titan is erens dad?? how???

Fatipapi
>>142388813

lol yeah, if this is already confusing for them.... wait til they get to s4 part 3/4 lmao

Peeker
>>142401648

@BugBite23 im pretty sure it was to protect eren. after all, keiths line to grisha about "what if your son isn't a chosen one?" i think Keith was afraid eren wouldn't make it out in the world. he sabotaged erens gear so eren could fail and get kicked out

I sometimes think it’s due to watching the subbed version, it takes a lot of concentration and stuff is easily missed. Even getting the names wrong and forgetting characters I think is because of that tbh. I know people think sub is superior, personally I’ve watched both and like both. But for some people I think they get more out of it watching the dubbed version. Idk just my take.

The Carla scene always, gets me emotional because of personal experiences and things said throughout my life, Isayama is a masterful writer!

J Knight

I lost my patreon subscription for a while there, but I'm finally back to get caught up. And... wow! In 2018, I stopped watching the series at the episode before this one because I was getting too cool for anime in high school, but... wow! This episode was AMAZING. I missed out. Can't wait to see what's next!

Jonah Bertorelli

Nobody is upset that you are saying the same things about the intro, because the total impression of the music has been better and better feedback every time. You might make the same points, but it's growing on ya'll hahahaha that's all that matters.
