The actor playing Aegon is doing such a great job. The thing I was most curious about going into season 2 was seeing how his character would develop. I do wish they would give us more scenes between him and Helena because I think their relationship could be one of the more interesting & complex relationships in the show. But overall I think Aegon's character is very tragic. He feels completly unloved. He's done fucked up things. He's so clueless & unprepared some of which is due to the fact that he got no training from his father on how to be a King because he knows his father didn't like him. His lack of affection from his mother leads him to go out unprepared on his dragon to try to prove himself. Only to be betrayed by the little bother that he constantly bullied.

Wow look at that Daemon plan to 1v2 Vhagar would of actually worked, and he is the mad man. The war would of been over much sooner if Rhaenyra listened to Daemon since the start

Having read the books, I knew we were going to lose Rhaenys and Meleys, but Damn! That was tough to watch! Rhaenys has been one of our strongest characters, and I think she has shined the most this season on the house black side. Losing her is a huge blow for house black!

Honestly I'm probably in the minority, but I wasn't really a fan of her character. Acting was great just wasn't a fan of the character

The way I took that aegon an aemond and the small council scene reminded me so much of the got's season 3 finale with joffery and tywin scene. This scene here was probably my favorite scene so far this season.

I think it's because Max puts 11 minutes of ads and recaps in the front of the show and the guys skip that. I hate it (the ads, not them skipping it)

How do you get ads if you got a max subscription? Ive never experienced any ads at all, would seem kinda shady if hbo put in ads even if you got a subscription

With how big vhagar is, its crazy to think about the size of balerion (Aegon the Conqueror's dragon). I think at this point vhagar is comparable in size but balerion is the largest recorded dragon.

it's implied that alyn is corlys' bastard son, that's why rhaenys makes a comment about his mother and says i know who he is. it's also implied that alyn knows about this which is why he has been acting uncomfortable in all his scenes

Yeah, in Fire and Blood, Archmaester Gyldayn implies that Laenor is Alyn and Addam's father. Mushroom (the other narrator) believes it is Corlys. So, as we know, the narrators are unreliable, so the show (and GRRM) confirmed via the show that they are Corlys' illegitimate sons.

They're HBO/Max ads and previews, not really just random ads. It still applies even if you have a Max subscription here in the US. But it's just one or 2 before the episode plays, and they're skippable.

Just to clarify Meleys (Rhaenys dragon) isn't the biggest dragon Rhaenyra has Daemon's one, Caraxes is bigger and the dragon we saw also with Daemon at the end of Season 1, Vermithor is even bigger than Caraxes Vermithor is said to be the second biggest living dragon after Vhagar (Aemond's dragon) but he has no rider So Meleys was not her biggest dragon overall but the biggest they had to send, sadly wasn't enough

Yeah Vermithor and Silverwing are just hanging around the volcano on Dragonstone lol I can't remember but I think one of the three wild dragons is supposed to be large like Meleys as well, maybe Cannibal?

Yes, Cannibal never had a rider and he is very big he could compete for the number two spot in term of size But there is not much information about him maybe the series will expand on him We'll see
