Where’s the Civil War YT Cut?

October Sky is one of Jake Gyllenhaal’s first movies. Oak would love the lessons I think. A very inspirational movie. Even if you guys don’t react to it in the channel, definitely recommend watching on your own. And it’s based on a true story!

Ryan Towell

Jake film recommendations.. Yes Nightcrawler, End of Watch, Prisoners, October Sky (younger Jake great film), Zodiac (amazing film, amazing cast), Brothers, Source Code, The Covenant

Jade Lastra

Fun fact about the song at the end, originally "Wiseman" by Frank Ocean was written in 2012 and was supposed to be used in Django Unchained. QT loved the ballad but couldn't find any place for the song. He decided to cut it from the movie rather than have it throw it in somewhere quick, out of respect for the work Frank did. It was unreleased until the artist posted it to his tumblr, and would later be featured in this movie (it is still technically unreleased to this day).

I think this is the quietest I've ever seen you guys during a reaction. It was amazing, because it means the movie did exactly what it was supposed to. This movie does a great job showing grief and it's various stages across different perspectives and personalities. No matter how short the scene was Rita Ora never fails to floor me in the beginning of this movie. She's unrecognizable. 🩷💛💙

Mathilde

There's great acting and then there's Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler. You guys need to react to it!

Ryan Towell

great reaction pretty much how I thought it would go.. However everyone always focuses in on the performance by Jake and Forest but the performances of the two women Rachel and Oona set the entire tone of this film Rachels dying scene was so good I've seen this many times and I still tear up from it. And come on Oona, 11-12 years old turned in that performance...Everyone was on point. If you're interested this is the youtube video that was put out of Jake Training for this film.. he's a beast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpND51GmnQY

Ori_gina_lart

I'm so Happy you covered this movie! This movie has almost No reaction Video and the movie is soooo amazing. Its really one of my favorite movies.

Ashley K

I second Prisoners but I’d also like to recommend Okja on Netflix. It’s a Bong Joon-Ho movie (Parasite) with an awesome casting lineup!

Ron Banks

Eminem was actually supposed to play Jakes character in this originally but settled for doing the music.

Stephanie

My two recommendations for Jake Gyllenhaal movies: End Of Watch and Zodiac

Stephanie

Btw, Billy's friend, who came back after Billy threatened him with the gun, was played by Beau Knapp, who was also in Road House (the guy who got punched by Jake in the throat and then drowned in the pool) and in The Nice Guys (blue face).😊

I haven't seen Zodiac but End of Watch is bloody amazing. Right up these guy's alley.

Rich

What human throughout history do you think could take or last the longest against a standard, in its prime, adult chimpanzee? Any person, fighting method or MMA. Or what human could stand a chance with the right training or gear? I'm gonna throw in Mike Tyson, William Wallace, Brock Lesnar and Master Chief.

Rich

Back bruising is off the rope. So isn't a good sign. Although that's over the top for the quality of the ring.

This movie has me in tears every single time. Wow. Amazing performances. Prisoners is definitely an amazing watch and performance from Gyllenhaal. Unrelated Recommendation: I AM LEGEND

MateoP

End of watch !! Amazing movie 📈

Kaley

2 Jake Gyllenhaal recommendations: October Sky and Stronger!

Amanda Garten

Ok I'm just gonna say this: Answer wtf was that in the very beginning with the phone hand? 🤙 Lol 😂😂 Decided I'd watch this since I m a big fan of Rocky.

Marco Gutierrez

My favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movies were definitely October Sky and Donnie Darko. I'm sure ya'll would all enjoy both of them.

Prisoners, Nightcrawler, Brokeback Mountain, Zodiac, Stronger. Honestly there's a lot of Jake's AMAZING movies I'm so glad people starting to appreciate him more. Loved the reaction guys <3

BlakedAsFuh
