Malachi Heldenbrand

Hey Diamond Dave, the link is not working for the YouTube reaction for this episode.

Stephanie Murphy

I LOVED Adventures in Babysitting!! Where my crush on Vincent D'Onofrio first began ❤️❤️

Cass&Jason

Glad you're enjoying it. I like Kamala Khan much better on the show than I did in the movie -- no spoilers, of course, but I didn't like teenage girls when I *was* a teenage girl. 🤣 Which reminds me -- when are you watching Umbrella Academy?!?!?!

Fajar Kurniawan

Yes, they recognize SRK (Shah Rukh Khan). The legend

Francesc Prabh

You are correct Diamond Dave, need to check bazzigar and DDLJ. Absolute classics

Omg I prayyy they watch DDLJ, such a classic and one of Shah Rukh Khan's best

Jeremy Burch

I thought this was a good episode. I really like the family and friends in this show.

For their own good they should not watch umbrella academy, specially after the last 2 seasons that show how mediocre some writers can be

BlueJean452

Gentle reminder to keep in mind that Bruno establishes in this episode that Kamala’s powers come from her, not the bangle.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but forgive me if I disagree with you. 😁

Be My Little Baby is in the opening of Dirty Dancing. As a Jersey girl born & raised I totally 2nd the Bon Jovi ❤️!

Why waste time reacting to dogshit tv shows like most of Netflix and all marvel Disney+

Cass&Jason
>>146493982

Why tell people that they shouldn't watch things just because you don't like it?

I mean you can look up the ratings to see what the general feedback is on these shows and it isn’t good

Alanna Meyers

This episode was a lot of fun. The twist at the end is great as well

I love that you guys were waiting for a mention of Yash or one of the movies you've seen 😄 Some info that might interest you: KGF, Salaar etc were major hits across India ("pan Indian hits") but sadly there is still a big lack of exchange between speakers of one Indian language and movies of another. So apart from a few recent exceptions, in general Hindi speakers don't really watch south films (either Tamil or Telugu or Malayalam or Kannada speaking). And similarly Telugu speakers overall don't watch Malayalam movies, etc 😩 Here since the characters of Ms Marvel are Pakistani, their language is Urdu which is mostly just Hindi written with the Arabic script. Urdu and Hindi orally are mutually intelligible and Pakistanis watch a lot of Bollywood/Hindi speaking movies. So I'm not suprised they didn't mention south films. But yes they could have mentioned 3 Idiots for sure considering how popular the movie is. The actress said she's a fan of Aamir Khan (the lead actor of 3 Idiots). But understandably the writers decided to mention Shah Rukh Khan instead as he is the biggest Bollywood star. You guys recently saw him in Jawan 🙂 The 2 movies mentioned, Baazigar and DDLJ (short for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge) are indeed real movies as you may already know since I'm commenting late lol. If you see my comment on your reaction to the pilot, I mentioned DDLJ, it's one of the biggest, most iconic, most referenced Bollywood classics (1995) and one of my fav movies. It has a bit of 90s cheese but for the most part it's aging quite well and is for sure a must see for people exploring Bollywood. Baazigar (1992) is the remake of American movie A Kiss Before Dying with Matt Dillon, released in 1991. The story is decent but IMO the movies hasn't aged well AT ALL, it's extremely 90s and not in a good way lol. I would not recommend it 🙈

I was about to mention Dirty Dancing too 😊
