So sad this bombed at the box office. This movie deserved so much better

I think this is my favorite movie of 2024 so far! It’s a damn shame it bombed at the box office, but I was happy to catch it on IMAX (something I couldn’t do with Fury Road because they only showed it on imax 3D, which I’m not a fan of). Might be me, and don’t get me wrong because I really like Tom Hardy, but the guy that played P. Jack would have played a fantastic Max. He totally did give off Mel vibes.

Also, I read Blood, Sweat, and Chrome and they briefly touched on the delay of this movie. George Miller wrote it, intending it to be an anime, but the anime studio dropped out. Then he planned on filming this with Charlize not long after Fury Road, but he sued (I think) Warner Bros about the rights for the franchise. That legal situation soured his relationship with the studio, obviously. By the time they finally greenlit this, Charlize aged out, and they didn’t want to use AI/CGI to make her look younger. They filmed this at the tail end of the pandemic, so there were restrictions, causing them to rely more on CGI/green screen compared to Fury Road. I think that’s what turned a lot of people off when they saw unfinished CGI in the trailers.

Fury Road is great. But I love Furiosa just as much. Where else am I going to see Chris Hemsworth play this type of character?

1st time watch. I really enjoyed this film. I am currently rewatching Fury Road. This is pretty awesome. Great Reaction. I'm hyped.Thanks.

Steven Warner

1st time watch, only seen Fury Road in the universe, personally it took about 3 tries to actually enjoy and understand Fury Road, and i believe this is a 4.7/5 while Fury Road was a 4.2/5 for me

Fun Fact for Quinn!! The man who gives furiosa the skeleton car towards the end of the film is actually a main character from the Mad Max video game. His name is Chumbucket and at the beginning of the game you meet Chum,he assists Max/you and ends up being your partner/Guide for the duration of the game. He is very whacky and a colorful character to say the least. Love seeing chum in this!! Great video guys, been waiting on this for a minute, now my 6th time seeing Furiosa. LETS GO!!

Hyped for Peaky blinders today! Roll on season 2

Joaquin garcia

one of the best films of this year for sure

Fury Road still edges this movie out for me as my all time favorite action film. I would love for y'all to watch the Mel Gibson movies since I've never seen them and it would be a great excuse to finally see 'em!
