Mr H Aziz

I can finally stop refreshing my page......!!!!

Ragad 🤍

YAAAYYY I WAS REFRESHING THIS ENTIRE DAY

Jeff Long

I love how these last few weeks this dropped almost right as I get home from work. Fantastic way to decompress.

Alex Lutz

Excited for you guys to watch this season. Definitely some bangers for sure. Can’t wait!!

Wonderxfull

I was sick today so I got to stay home from work, snuggle into a blanket and watch with you guys! Can't wait for this game to start!!

WHY

Yes!! Let’s go!! I’m so ready for it. The cinematography and background musics/sounds of this season is top-notched! The games too, they’re all levelled up.

Georgie Oatham

For a little bit of context in Japan being publicly disgraced like Usagi's father was is a very big deal and families kind of get witch hunted.

WHY

Love your commentary/analysis at the end as always. You really dive deep into analysing why the show is showing certain scenes/moments. Especially glad that Answer pointed out that the show is showing the mundane things that we don’t normally notice in our daily life but are certainly precious yet missing in the world that they’re in. Also love that Oak pointed out the contrasts of those characters: the girl having enough with this world doubting the purpose of fighting vs. Usagi not wanting to go back to the original world doubting the purpose of living in the original world.

Yaz

Welcome Yamapi!! Our naked King of Clubs is a popular idol in Japan 🤭

Megan

Great episode! I just wanted to mention how much better your Death Note "L" comment was. Because the actor who plays Arisu played L in the live action tv show. So you're not wrong! I'm so excited for this season! I still don't know how Niragi (burn dude) is still alive. He was set on fire then pushed off a building. Then Aguni carried him into the flames. Literally how did he survive, especially in a world with zero medical help?

Bluhawke

In my opinion, Usagi's draw to stay is because in Borderland she has a very present reason to live--reduced to base survival instincts--whereas back in the real world, she has nothing to live for and nothing is triggering that base instinct there. As Oak said, technically Borderland isn't less painful, but she has purpose. I justify the survival of Niragi (to myself, lol) as: Niragi is a 'mythical' creature, either the JubJub Bird or Bandersnatch (i can't remember which) from the Jabberwocky poem: “Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!” As such, as unrealistic as it is (and very annoying), he persists because of his role as a representation of evil --which was the purpose of these 3 beasts in Carol's poem. There may be a more official reason (from the creator of Borderland), but I've not heard it so this is my reasoning.

I admit even if he had some qwerky weird roles in the past, I was totally surprised to see him butt naked in this drama

Bunnie

It’s here!! LFG! Hope you just have fun for the ride. Your questions will be answered in due time. Just be patient and enjoy 😀

THIS! A lot of us in Western society have a lot of support when it comes to this type of depression in Japan it’s not so common. Different society for sure.

Steven Warner

That went by way too quickly, there was def a lot of cheese when people were getting shot, can’t believe that fucker didn’t burn, overall a decent start to season 2 in my opinion

Diablos Cafe

A guy knocked a tiger out last season with a hook 😭 might want to take realism out of the equation for this season

ΛIRS

LFG! Amazing start to the next Season!

draeonic 🪼

Crossover opportunity: somehow get out of Borderland, immediately get recruited into Japanese Squid Game due to outstanding debt

Usagi's life before meeting Arisu seemed fun. She hunted during the day, slept in a tent at night, and spent rainy days browsing books in bookstores.

WHY
>>161124972

Great analysis on Usagi’s draw to stay. But what do you mean by you’ve not heard of a more official reason why Niragi persists? There’s literally a theory/explanation of the reason why in the final episode if you did get through it and understand it.

WHY

To all the people watching this show for the first time and wondering about the unrealistic parts, just be patient - they’ll all get explained and make sense eventually.

TheMilkMan

Anything unrealistic that happens, I assure you, there will be a great explanation to why some people like Nigari just can't seem to die. Just put on your Fast and Furious mind sets for this season as it gets just as wild and crazy.

rwie

Definitely looking forward to some specific episodes and games in this season! And others have said so already, but all that unrealistic stuff will be explained later on.

Nail on the head there, bucko. Never got to finish season 2, canceled my netflix in January 2023 because of cost. So I never finished Stranger Things either, lol. But life moves on and I get opportunities like this to wrap up loose ends :)

WHY
>>161124972

I see. Don’t worry, mate. You’ll find out the reason later on. Glad to see you getting opportunities like this to finish season 2 now. Enjoy the ride :)

Raeven Rose

Ah Crispy Bacon…aka Niragi. Yeah…I can’t say I was happy to see him back. 😝

lelmDR.WHO

season 2 let's go!! personally, I like it even more!

Daniel Nikolov

Nice one! I would personally recommend you to watch Sweet Home. Its another Korean drama serie. It was my personal go to after i watched this one.

Andrew Willard

Fun fact the 2015 live action death note the actor who plays Arisu does play L in it

Donna Castellano

I'm glad to see the comments section isn't riddled with spoilers this week. Don't ruin this for Badd Medicine.

Yes I did not like that unrealistic stuff so much... 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I still enjoyed overall and I get in the end.
