i’m so glad you guys loved this one so much. i personally like it more than the first one, it’s just so funny and charming and of course chris pine is handsome af lmao. oak ripping into him was so funny, this movie is definitely cliche but it does it so well!

I was really nervous for this one because I love it more than the first and a lot of people actually like the first one more. To me this one’s less stereotypical. In the first one it’s basically like most other movies girl likes guy, guy doesn’t like her back, guy uses her, she fails friend, everyone’s mad she realizes she’s wrong and actually likes the friend she had all along they get together happy ending. Also the makeover takes glasses off and straightens hair and suddenly she’s magically transformed. It’s good but again stereotypical. I like that in this she doesn’t get married instead grandma does and like you said I like that the love interest wasn’t just a cooks son, farmer boy “poor boy” etc. my favorite part was the sleepover, mattress surfing and Juli Andrew’s singing with Raven. A gem of a movie with so many hilarious moments. Ya’ll made this reaction so much fun.

So happy with this reaction because I knew y’all would love it. I have always loved this one more than the second as yall said it’s just so much fun and so much rewatch ability. Loved seeing how surprised yall were but yeah amazing reaction to such a good cute movie. Also loved the quick little prince john Robin Hood joke y’all made it made me laugh! So many ppl in my generation don’t know that movie so so much fun

Something that will explain why so many hated this film with such a passion and reviewed it so poorly …it’s worth remembering the films were first a beloved best selling series of books, its target audience of the first film at least were the fans of the books. The first film was more faithful but you will notice the second film just say’s based on characters from the books. Mia and Michael’s relationship and its ups and downs was carried through the whole series and was such an integral part. *spoiler* …. They end up married. So to see the second film completely get rid of him and just veer so far was probably what the main target audience of this film hated so so so much. If you didn’t read the books, the films are fine and funny for what they are. If you read the books the second film in particular was like a huge slap and literally ruined the whole book series. Which explains why it took so long for a 3rd film… the cult following the films picked up was from an audience far removed from the books. Personally it’s only after 15/20 years after reading the books have I been able to watch these films again. And be able to enjoy them completely separately from the books series. P.s imagine it like if Hermione and Ron didn’t get together in the Harry Potter films after being such an integral relationship in the books.

"Well, well, well, guess whose Quinnstincts just shit the bed?!" I am DECEASED lmaooo

It was actually super emotional to see Julie Andrews sing in this when it first came out. Her vocal cords were damaged during surgery and she was told she'd never be able to sing again.

Its crazy because this used to be one of my favorite movies growing up and when I was younger me and my cousins and my sisters would all watch it all the time… But now that I’m older and watching it with you guys, I am truly upset that I never realized how hilarious this movie is! Of course when you’re a young girl/preteen you’re too busy romantizing being a princess (and obviously Chris Pine as well lol) to realize the humor and the stupid comedy. But great reaction guys, I really loved it! Can't wait to see yall react to Hairspray (another big favorite of mine)

Oooo Answer, you should check out Renee Olstead’s albums! I used to sing a lot of her songs/versions when I was competing in singing comps as a kid. She’s also the daughter in Still Standing, with Mark Addy from A Knight’s Tale and GoT!!! She is a phenooomenal singer!

Please react to Ella Enchanted! It’s yet another Cinderella story that my mom would describe as a “teenie-bopper fantasy” but it’s a really fun comedy for the whole family!

Fun Fact: The duet that Julie Andrews had with Raven during the slumber party was her first time to sing since her botched throat surgery in 1997 :) I have the DVD of this movie and during the behind the scenes for this particular scene, everyone was crying on set when they heard Julie Andrews sing.

That was SO MUCH FUN watching it for the first time with you guys😆😆😆😆🙏 I shed tears of laughter
