I don’t remember liking this episode so much. Happy I rewatched it with you guys! :)

I'm Batman

This was easily my favorite episode of this season and easily top 5 in the whole show (finished season 3 yesterday)

I'm Batman

And I'm not sure if anyone else felt this way but when coach beard was getting jumped and big guy came in and beat the shit out of Tartt and his friends and he helped him up, that shit hit my soul so hard, I started to cry lol.

Not MQ taking the biggest jab at Oak at 54 min im deceased

Katie

Oak you might think you’re little speech at the end was cliche but it’s exactly what I needed to hear

If you ever get the chance, check out the interview with Brett Goldstein talking about writing this episode. He calls it a love letter to Coach Beard (and Brendan Hunt as well). They were also excited to get Brendan’s hula hoop expertise in there. I also feel like it was good to have a buffer between ep 8 and ep 10.

This is definitely not one of my favorites. I appreciate that it's an homage to the film After Hours (which I haven't seen), and that I'd you're a fan of that this would be a really cool episode. It's got got nice touches, especially giving us more screen time with the trio from the bar. But it's probably my least favorite and I tend to skip it on rewatches. Really glad you guys liked it, though!

Kiw

I started to cry when he started dancing , it was so liberating after the crazy day he had

Steph

This episode really stands alone. Love the conversation and discussion that came out of this. As always, thank you guys!

Not my favourite episode, there were a couple of moments that I liked and enjoyed seeing more of Coach Beard but wasn’t as keen on the storyline

MJ Eid

ahhh yesss. this was huge for you to add to the discussion......-.-

i love when people feel the need to say when an episode is there least favorite...its like why do you feel the need to say it? Is it gnawing at you that someone else liked it? or is it that hard to keep a negative opinion to yourself. Like what do you hope to accomplish by saying it? are you trying to add to some discussion? No. Your just trying to tell people how you didnt like something and the only thing that actually does is cast a shadow. How sad. Im sure the guys are thankful for your commentary on the episode.

I've always enjoyed this episode, but the fandom consciousness seems to be REALLY down on it so I was surprised for MQ to come out and call it one of his favorites. Interesting to see it really strike a chord with him.
