I think the main reason why some people disliked the third season (if without any spoilers) is that first two seasons went under the shadow of more popular and overhyped Squid Game and when AiB was slowly discovered, the audience was pleasantly surprised by the high level of quality (writing, acting, directing wise) and the word of mouth organically build the good reputation for AiB, so more and more people watched it, compared to Squid Game (and often not in favor of the latter, especially Squid Game S2 vs AiB S2). And people genuinely thought that AiB will stop at S2. But the viewing numbers were so good that Netflix decided to call back AiB (which is actually rare for Netflix as they often cancel shows rather than giving them more seasons) and ordered the third season. To that moment the public already had strong views about AiB as a great show and that's why they went to watch S3 with enormously high expectations which weren't met because the audience missed the whole point of S3 (other than Netflix shamelessly milking their new golden cow, of course lol). S3 wasn't created to overshadow its past two seasons, but rather to give closure to Arisu and Usagi's connection with the Borderland. Reading some reviews, it's obvious that the audience went with its strong views about what S3 should be about and basically denied S3 (which, btw, was under consulting from Haro Aso who wrote original manga) presentation of their points. I liked S3 because it showed us more matured Arisu and Usagi, and developed the whole psychological study of the society (in this micro level with Arisu's Team and Usagi's Team) and individuals in an interesting light, cutting through viewers' expectations and not being afraid to do what most shows typically avoid. I still think that Squid Game (even S1) suffered in the aspects where AiB excelled, and even if S3 wasn't, let say, on the mighty level of last season of Breaking Bad or The Sopranos, it gave us everything we needed (with measured sprinkles of fan service). I have my criticism, but it's more about Netflix handling of AiB than about writing and directing of the season (marketing issues, imo). I'm glad that the guys (so far) enjoying the season and invested in Arisu + Usagi pair adventures. Don't let any noise to distract you from what AiB is about (it's not about surviving the games, it has deeper meaning).

When I first saw this I thought I would just wait until the gas is released and hold my breath and look at the canary. And if the canary is dead then use the canister. The rules said that you have 30 seconds to decide whether or not to wear your mask, it said nothing about having to put the tank in. But notice they said it was poison gas btw. We don't know it was nerve gas. But of course I dunno anything about that. I would love to see the Resident Evil movies on this channel. I'm currently watching them again now, I know I said it in the last reaction but I say it again now because Oak mentioned it and said it's coming eventually coz Mason hasn't seen it , I think?

I was nervous coming into this season, and without spoiling it, I absolutely loved this season. Can't wait to see how y'all feel about it by the end of this season.

Citizens was the creator of the face card games we saw last season , and Banda this guy when he approached Arisu in the first ep at the the tunnel he said "Thanks to u I became the citizen" . He aslo invited Arisu to come back to the borderland to be a citizen cuz he got the potential, literally the one who won it so it was pretty obvious that Usagi was just a bait
