PEAK🔥🔥🔥

Megan Sarah

The way I have been waiting for this alert to come across my screen 🙌🙌🙌

elena

PEAKK🤘🏻

Mathilde

Lestat yells "Va te faire foutre!" which translates to "Go f*** yourself!" 😊

LizTheOther

I first read the books 35 years ago and just to see the quick flashes of things to come is so exciting. Excited for you, but honestly, more excited for me.

Earthling777

Can people please not spoil characters for those who might not know who’s shown on screen? Not knowing is part of the fun.

ash

mason quinn already trying to ragebait oak once they focus on armand 😭

Halima

The season looks so interesting! I’m not sure what Claudia’s role will be, maybe seeing a new perspective of her through Lestat’s memories? Also wondering what happened between Louis and Lestat since their reunion in the s2 finale.

Metweet .c

Do you think they'll watch the spin off? About the agency?

Isaiah

2026 can’t come any sooner 😩

ChantayM

So happy you did the reaction to this! I was hoping! Thank you!!!!

Kalisa Fox

Hope you guys check out the movie Queen of the damned, its another take on the vampire Lestat, similar to the Brad Pitt's Interview with a vampire. if you dont check it out before the upcoming series, perhaps after to see the differences.

AllyBoo124

About the peeing remember when we’ve seen vampires cry they cry tears of blood so it makes sense

Anaïs

Armand is here to stay lol sorry oak

Barbi Duarte

Can't remember the last time i was this exited for a release, i have been waiting for an adaptation of the vampire Lestat since i was a teen, next year can't come fast enough

Mo

Yesss

schwoopsie

I was hoping you guys would react to this! The teaser got me even more excited for s3 than I already was, I didn't know it was possible. Sam Reid has such an amazing range as an actor, he can do both comedic and emotional scenes so well, can't wait to see more of Lestat.

Yella

I've been waiting for this. A few comments: 1. "Golden Gate Bridge" is a slang for something. 2. There are entire threads in the fandom about how Armand and Louis, now a separated couple, are dividing their assets. I've never read anything so funny and heartwarming. So, there's a reason they're hiring lawyers. 3. I saw the panel on Friday, and the most used term for the season, in all its variations, is "fucked up!" It was basically every second word. Don't watch the panel!!! Too many spoilers! Thank you so much, guys! I was just in a bad mood. I'm better now.🫶

Jude

I absolutely love to see you guys responding to the teaser with the appropriate level of enthusiasm! Considering they're not even done filming, they have packed it full of so many interesting things to ponder for the next 6 months. I can't wait to see you guys when the season drops and it's wall to wall Rockstat!

Rae

What a time to be alive!

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

The DJ in the helmet - remember at the end of the second season, Armand said that the vampire Sam is now a DJ who wears a helmet when he performs....

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

Could everyone who has read the books or seen the other movie keep in mind that a lot of people here only know this story through the show, and refrain from naming/describing the characters you recognize in the trailer? This shouldn't be that difficult an ask. Also please keep in mind that things you might consider "common knowledge" because you follow entertainment news about the show aren't common knowledge to people who do not follow entertainment news or watch convention panels or interviews--including our Badd Medicine boys. Just comment on what you can see in the trailer as it appears, and leave it at that, please and thank you ❤️

Natacha P

So glad you reacted to this extended teaser! I have been madly going frame by frame since it was released 😂

T

I bet. I BET! Very specific detail to pluck out of thin air! Va te faire foutre (go fuck yourself)!😭😭

Emily Thouless

If you guys are looking for more content before the next season the Talamasca show comes out later this week and some familiar characters from Interview may be making an appearance 👀

Joy

I can't wait!!!!

Adrianna Marie Aka AD

I'm stoked for this season. I hope we get more on Magnus and Akasha this season and not just name drops!!!

ct

I can’t wait for this, Lestat is such a character! I’m so glad that Claudia made a reappearance. Seeing her from (presumably) Lestats pov will be a fun ride! Will he acknowledge the way he treated her, show her from a diff light, etc etc? I also loved the intro for the subtle meta commentary it provided (when Daniel mentions execs wanting a documentary made about “the white guy” & not Louis—crazy considering it’s Louis telling *his* own story). It reminded me of the broader trend of sanitizing or sidelining Black stories to make them more palatable for mainstream audiences. I appreciate Rolin for touching on it a bit. Lestat really seems to be going through it this season—and I think it’s largely because the consequences of his actions (or inaction), along with the weight of his past, are finally coming back to haunt him in full force. In s2, even as he’s steeped in remorse, he’s still repeating the same cycle he’s been trapped in since s1. Someone phrased what this cycle is better than I ever could: “Being remorseful, hating himself, only seeing an unforgivable monster in the mirror, then putting on a performance to run away from it is all part of the cycle—and it always comes back after he's done zero self reflection and as a result ends up hurting his loved ones.” I honestly believe that everything mentioned is going to be central to his character arc! I’m very glad it’s come to this point, because what we’ve seen before (coddling/little accountability for his behavior via others) is not what Lestat needs right now! I’m so excited—I swear 2026 cannot come soon enough!

BongoPhone

Magnus scares me so much, it'll be horrifying to see his scenes with Lestat.

Thoma

Man, I've been waiting for an adaptation of this book for more than 30 years, and I love how they're doing this show. I'M SO PUMPED!

Crystalrose

the hiss at the beginning lolol

Crystalrose

i had to come back to watch your reaction to this~!!!!!!

Miya

I just popped in to rewatch an episode from season two, and here y'all are reacting to the First Look vid! It's kismet haha. ETA: Great play-by-play analysis! Thank you, Answer, for facilitating the frame-by-frame breakdown. 💜

Miya

FYI - I'm pretty sure Lestat says "Va te foutre" which is the shorter version of "Va te faire foutre" which means "go f*ck yourself/f*ck you" lol

Dwight Scarn

No worries, but thats not really a spoiler. And im not planning on revealing anything. Plus Lestat writing "never fking happened" and that first sneak peak made it obvious.

ondraya

That scene with Louis and Lestat arguing at the table with the lawyers has lived in my mind rent free since this dropped, I cannot be more excited!

Arania

SUUUUUPER excited for this season! Definitely on pins and needles till it premieres! There was one more great teaser of a promo for season 3 that came out at San Diego Comic Con 2024 - it's a little scene with Daniel interviewing Lestat that was recorded before any of the actual filming for the season started. I know people linked it on the last trailer review you saw :3 I won't give any spoilers on chars you haven't met yet - but some of the "Cosplay' fans I definitely think are hallucinations of Lestat remembering the adoring fans from when he was on stage in Paris ( Armand talked a bit about that part of his life in Season 2). and I don't think you guys recognized Nicki - who was part of that group that I think Lestat is hallucinating. He's also the character smearing on the mirrors in a later flash.

Andrea Costa Carvalho

Does someone know if the trailer’s song is available anywhere for purchase? I loved the mix of Bowie and Jagger they seem to have chosen for Lestat’s aesthetic and vibes so far.

Circe

It can't wait. It's going to be EPIC! I love the lawyer scene, their bickering. But when Louis touched the arm of his lawyer I got really worried. Louis, my sweet, beautiful man, are you trying to get this man killed?!

Jordyne Gipson

I really hope yall take a look at Queen Of the Damned to get a little bit more insight about this era

Megan

I'm so excited! Sam's vocals are so much better, I was a bit worried when we heard his singing in the first, first look. I hope you watch "Talamasca: The Secret Order" it premiers on Oct. 26. Other than Daniel (not sure how big his role is), I'm not sure if there is other cross overs or if it gives info leading up to the new Interview season. But it is part of the same universe.

Julie

I am so excited to watch your reactions to season 3 -- almost as much as watching season 3 in the first place! My favorite part about the lawyer scene is Lestat's quadruple take when he sees Louis touch his lawyer's arm, and Louis's little smile like he knows EXACTLY what he's doing

You were worried when you heard Long Face? But it's amazing... Or is there some sort of earlier first look?
