Diablos Cafe

Adrianna Marie Aka AD

It's cold and foggy here in CA. I'm about to curl up with a bowl of chili and watch this!!!

Anthony Velasquez

All the kids from the 1st episode are dead Pennywise used the story that Phil is alive to lure the group into the sewer the kids seen Phil body come out of the water

Keesh♊️🎭

I remember in Doctor Sleep (2019) when Dick visited a young Danny, Dick said how his abusive grandfather “was a mean old son of a bitch”, and when he died he kept coming back standing in his room “and stinking from whatever mold was growing on him in that box”…then his grandma taught him the trick, to put him in the box in his mind.

Bryan

they nailed the Pennywise reveal 🔥 agreeing with Oak too on the military part because idk what they’re thinking 😂 —— & not sure what it might exactly mean but i think Hallorann’s box being open might just mean Pennywise will be able to interfere with Hallorann’s shining ability

DKMT Show

Great episode. Also, side note on football. Im a Steelers fan and hope that we lost to both packers and bears smh.

Vanessa

The dread sound got even louder this intro. I wonder how loud it will be next week.

Diablos Cafe

Well that’s the military for you, don’t care about how they get it as long as it can destroy the enemy

I'm Batman

Welp, now this is my favorite episode lol. The Pennywise reveal was great. I knew the second "Matty" popped his head out the tent that that wasn't really him. It would be absolutely impossible for a kid to live in the sewers being held hostage, with no food or water, for months. Not to mention, the mutant baby form of IT hit Matty with so much force it turned his yellow binky completely red from his blood, yeah I wasn't buying it for a second. Was surprised they brought in Hallorann's box for the show. I know it was a thing in Doctor Sleep because he gave it to a young Danny, I can't remember if it was ever brought up in The Shining though, it's been a long time since I've watched that movie. Can't wait for these last few episodes.

Drew

Wait I’m confused was that blood on the floor at the end?

Alanna Meyers 🍌

I hoped it was Matty but figured it probably wasn’t. The big surprise for me was finding out who Hank was involved with

I'm Batman

Right, and the reveal that she's the old lady that Beverly sees in it chapter 2 was pretty cool, also her being the little clown girl who Francis sees at the carnival in the early 1900's. Being somewhat of a central character through major parts of pennywise's timeline.

Alanna Meyers 🍌

Right???? This ep was full of surprises. Plus the Lilly getting eaten misdirect. I knew we’d have at least one casualty this episode and I was worried for the kids 😩

I'm Batman

Oh yeah, I was certain Lilly was gonna be a goner once she was alone. so glad that shard was there.

Alanna Meyers 🍌

This was such a good episode. I knew Pennywise was gonna finally be in this episode because I watched the promo for the episode. It definitely takes some of the tension out of the tunnel scene if you remember that Will is unkillable as he’s the father of Mike but an interesting scene nonetheless. Also, I agree Oak, a few of these characters are definitely donks 😂

Ryan Holmes

I’m sure this is probably a minority opinion but this show has been so disappointing. I loved the way they started and what they were building to but it feels like they’ve already lost the plot and I’m bored. The 2017 version had so much charm that this is abundantly missing

Hathor

Suggestion: Stephen King's "Rose Red" miniseries. 😉
