One of my favorite shows of the yr how can you not love this finale the Marge reveal to Rich coming and helping the group one last time as Rich was running by Pennywise I yelled flip him off and he did that brought me so much joy 5/5

So Tired

It's funny when Pennywise says, “So long, losers,” and then, 27 years later, he is defeated by the Losers' Club in It (2017). Then, another 27 years later in It Chapter Two (2019), he is finally killed. Now the biggest reveal of this finale is that this show is not just a prequel, but also a sequel. We also find out that time is not linear for Pennywise, and his “death” in It (2019) is also his birth so he is now moving backward through time his through his feeding cycles, trying to prevent his own death. And let's not forget, Rich the MVP.

what a show 🔥🔥 exceeded my expectations by a million & would lowkey prefer it over the movies even though those are still great… so with every season going back 27 years i guess it makes sense with the whole Pennywise time situation, i guess we’ll be on the journey with him trying to prevent his death from the future… each death is a new birth

This show was so much better than I thought it'd be and in my opinion blows the 2 movies and the miniseries out of the water (I know many think the 90's version are movies but that's a misconception, it was a miniseries). And the reveal that Pennywise is going back in his past is such a clever way to make a prequel series into a sequel series at the same time. Loved that we got to see Ritchie give Pennywise the finger, and the scene of his funeral with his parents and Dick moved me to the point I started crying, wasn't ready for that lol. Don't think I'd change a single thing about this show, could possibly be my #1 show for this year and easily a 5/5 for me.

October 1988 is the same time that Georgie was killed by Pennywise. So this is the beginning of the next cycle at the end. Also the events of IT (2017) take place in the late spring and summer of 1989.

I loved the show but seeing how much damage the General did and then had Taniel killed, his death was not gruesome enough for my liking!

Since you asked, as someone who’s read the book multiple times, I was not expecting much out of this show. I didn’t plan to watch it but gave it a chance because you guys were watching it. If it sucked, at least I’d get to hang out with you all haha. So imagine my surprise when it turned out to be incredible! It was so much better than I thought it would be. I think they did an excellent job of keeping the same tone as the movies (both 90’s and recent). Really looking forward to the next season but I also hope they’re able to tie in some things to known character again. Don’t know how possible that will be if we keep going back in time.

the old lady is also the one that opens the door to Jessica Chastain (the adult version of the girl at the end with the red hair) when she goes to her old house. In fact she sees the picture of Pennywise in the circus

So as a side note, and idk if anyone has brought this up. But with the whole military trying to use Pennywise as a means to control the American people through fear. You have to realize that the General and the military in general, doesn’t know that IT is basically poisoning the groundwater to make the people of Derry complacent. General Shaw just sees a town of people who deal with things and turn a blind eye to all bad things that are happening. He also still thinks that even if he released IT, ITs 27 year cycle would continue. He doesn’t know that by un-caging IT, he gave IT free rein to roam and eat at ITs leisure. I don’t know that if he knew that, that he would have even attempted to release IT. But that’s just what my bf and I figured was his motivation. He saw something he didn’t completely understand and assumed a bunch of stuff and did his macho man military dance and ruined a bunch of stuff for many, many people.
