Episode 19 is one of the greatest triumphs of the anime genre. The author of the original manga comic cried when they saw episode 19 being animated.

I almost dropped this series back when it aired. I kept going because everyone hyped it up. It was the ending of episode 19 that kept me going, and while it's nowhere near my favorite anime shows, I'm glad I kept going. It only went uphill from here on out. The writing get's a tiny bit better, still nothing crazy, but the animation is amongst the greatest in media from here on out. The ending minutes are just a peek of what's to come in terms of animation.

To answer your question about the 12 there are the lower 6 which are weaker demons and then the 6 upper moons who are on par and sometimes stronger than the hashira. That’s why the demons are still around

Have they said how they gonna post the movie? I know they said they are gonna watch the episodes version which is 7 episodes. Will they post it as movie, all in one or they gonna post each episode weekly? I hope they post it all in one even though they'll watch the episodes version. Not trying to sound rude or demanding, I'm just hoping they won't do us like that, it'll ruin the experience since it is a movie.

I'm sorry, I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but this show in dub is SO underwhelming. I can literally see the lack of excitement on their faces. I know for a fact they would've enjoyed this show 10x more in the sub and it's so unfortunate we couldn't convince them to switch. 😭I genuinely hate that their first experience with this gem is dub... All dubs are not created equal unfortunately. I'm glad they could at least be moved by the story and animation. (but imagine the passion and emotion of the original voice actors on top of this! UGH such a shame!)

While I agree for the most part, I think a first watch in dub isnt bad because you can enjoy the animation more not having to read subtitles. Would suggest a rewatch in sub at a later time though.

I think both can be enjoyed at the same time! Plenty of reactors have done so already. I just wanted them to have that full Demon Slayer watch experience as well. Also the story isn't so complex to where they wouldn't be able to keep up with reading the subs and watching at the same time (like with AoT).

I hope they'll do all 7 in one go too, I think it'll be a better experience for them so the immersion isn't lost by spreading them out. Happy with whatever they decide to do though as long as they enjoy it!

I'm glad to hear that at least! It's just that I've just seen your energy when a show really hits and demon slayer isn't quite giving that. The dialogue and the delivery in this particular dub isn't very good, so I think that is most likely the reason. It's the same concept as having bad actors in a movie or TV show. It just takes you right out of it sometimes...

I love how much you clearly enjoy the series. Seeing Mason reference Tanjiro in the new Knives Out movie just shows how strong an impression those characters left on you. Watching it dubbed probably helps too—it lets you really focus on both the story and the animation instead of racing to read subtitles. LOVE my badd medicine reactions! PSA... Season 3 animation is out of this world! just you wait!

As a fan of watching shows in their original language with my language subtitles (Spanish), I’ve always known the Hashira as “pillars” — the Water Pillar, the Insect Pillar, etc. — and the Twelve Kizuki as “moons” (Las Doce Lunas Demoníacas): six Lower Moons and six Upper Moons.

Fun fan fact: Episode 19 of Demon Slayer was a huge turning point for the series when it aired. This episode literally catapulted the anime to worldwide popularity 🔥 The animation, the fight choreography, and especially the song “Kamado Tanjiro no Uta” were so powerful that clips went viral on social media, manga sales skyrocketed, and tons of people started watching the series just because of this episode. Many fans (and critics) consider it one of the best anime episodes of the decade. So yeah… you’ve just watched a piece of anime history :D

disagree. i felt their excitement. i’ve already watch their reaction 2x cause i love how into it they got! i love the dub for this. rui voice especially. & if they were watching the sub well tbh i think they would enjoy the dub more. guess we’ll never really know 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not forcing anything~ I just don't believe in rewarding mediocrity. Good dubs exist, its just demon slayer isnt one of them unfortunately.

that’s your opinion. the guys are enjoying it and even praise the voice acting delivery. if they like it that’s all the matters. if it bothers ya then sync up the sub for your own enjoyment.

I don’t think it has to do much with the dub I just think demon slayer is very straight forward and there not much to dissect. The lore hits a lot harder in season 2 so I can’t wait for them to discuss and be intrigued about things like that. I think solo leveling would’ve been a way better fit imo. I love demon slayer thouvh

i can see the lack of excitement on their faces since episode 3. I think the language change wouldn't make a big difference. It's the show. I don't know why this was voted by patreons. These patreons just vote for what they like, not what they think BaddMedicine will like. Sadly, it looks like Jujutsu Kaisen will be next. Another show that's going to be underwhelming and a little cringe for them. Let's hope its Vinland saga or just something that works for them..

Those 2 episodes were so good! It's really entertaining and nice to watch it and react with BM :) I stopped around episode 3-5 and it motivates me to watch more!

Got Patreon just for demon slayer, so excited to be on this ride with BM! and to each their own but I agree with some of the comments that movie (sub) and then ep 1 is the way to go due to pacing! Just for the cinematic experience that it was watching the movie, as it originally aired. However you decide to do it though, you’re in for a good time!

Regardless of what you guys choose to do for the Mugen Train movie, I hope you watch the movie. The episodes are easier from a reaction stand point, but I like the movie better due to the feeling it leaves me with. I don't have time between episodes to sit and cool down or have a break with an OP and ED. If you do the episodes for reaction, try watching the movie on your own time afterwards and let us know which you preferred in the end :) I do kind of disagree about them watching the movies in JP instead of English, since they've watched the show in English, it can actually take you out of the immersion when you have to get used to new voices - so for their own enjoyment I hope you stay consistent. They can always watch the JP language on their own. I do think JP is superior, but I want them to enjoy the show as much as possible. And from what I've heard from other reactors, switching languages mid show can be a little jarring.

I think the word you were looking for is "simpletons" not "normal" lol these guys arent simpletons, they are actually pretty insightful and give good commentary when watching shows and movies. If you have trouble reading, you arent alone. 50% Americans read below the sixth grade level, so I guess its to be expected...
