You should watch Gully Boy starring both these actors. It came out before Rocky Aur Rani and the difference in the characters they play is crazy, despite being a couple in both movies. The movie is about the underground rap scene in India, something different for you guys. Also more bollywood (hindi language) romance films plz ❤ They are the best. And more Ranveer, Alia, Shahid, Sidharth, Varun, Shraddha & Deepika movies as well ❤

Really hope you watch Alia Bhatt & Varun Dhawan's romcom franchise Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania next ❤️ Super well done movies and also recommended on the website. Also Varun & Alia (Varia) are known for their incredible onscreen and offscreen chemistry ✨ I never thought I would love Alia with any other costar but Varun, but honestly Ranveer came in and surprised me with how much I love their chemistry as well

Great reaction guys 😀 I was surprised not to see any 5s at the end but you really enjoyed it still so it's all good 😅 Definitely consider reacting to Gully Boy at some point as it's with the same lead pair but in vastly different roles, and it's by the director of ZNMD. Alia Bhatt (she is married to Ranbir Kapoor and her next movie is with him) is one of the top actresses in India, she is known for some intense performances like in Highway, Udta Punjab or Raazi and I hope you can explore these hard hitting movies. You had seen her already as Sita in RRR. The funny thing about the lead actor Ranveer Singh is that his real life style used to be even more eccentric than Rocky's style lol. Look up "Ranveer Singh's most eccentric outfits" and you won't be disappointed. The BBC even has an article on his "outlandish wardrobe" 🤣 His latest movie Durandhar released early in December (spy thriller/action movie based on real events) is getting very good reviews and HUGE box office numbers (it has become the 3rd highest grossing Hindi movie of all time and will probably reach 2nd place in the next few weeks). Something you missed because you're still newbies is that the 3 girls and the guy in the opening song were actually all cameos by popular actors who started their career with the help of Karan Johar, the director of Rocky Aur Rani. He's often criticized for launching his friends and helping them get movies as he is one of the most powerful directors/producers in Bollywood, so having these cameos was him kinda giving the middle finger to the criticism 🤣 On a side note, as Oak mentioned other cultures, in the US too you still have widespread narratives (in Christian evengelical circles especially) that women should stay at home, be submissive etc. Just like the grandma in the movie Erika Kirk for example is going around telling women to be submissive housewives while she herself makes money being a career woman lol 💀 Issues around gender are sadly still universal.

Some info on the veteran actors in the movie: Rani's grandmother is played by Shabana Azmi, you guys might know her from the 1992 movie City of Joy with Patrick Swayze. The grandfather is played by Dharmendra, the biggest sex symbol of the 60s-70s, who passed away last month. The evil grandmother is played by Jaya Bachchan, a very talented actress who is married to Amitabh Bachchan, you briefly saw him in Kalki, he's a living legend in Bollywood. He played Meyer Wolfshiem in The Great Gatsby (because the director Baz Luhrmann is a fan of Bollywood). Their son actor Abhishek Bachchan is married to Aishwarya Rai.

Yaaay! So much fun watching this with you guys! I love that last song, with the red on red colour scheme, such a cool set! The person who did the subtitles for this movie needs some kind of award or bonus cause they captured Rocky so well!

Oh, regarding the mystery wind - I've heard it jokingly said that in Hollywood it's "Lights, camera, sound? Action!" But on Indian films it's "Lights, camara, sound, FAN? Action! I doubt I can remember them all but some of my fav lines: When Rani is checking him out in her office "I'm made to admire. A ton of hard work. All natural, no steroid! Aks him." When Rocky proposes: "Today was legs day but I skipped it so I can go down on my knees." "I may wear the latest fashion but my heart's old-fashioned. I don't want just physical, I want mental, emotional, consexual. All or nothing." "Don't get cross. I'm not arguing, I agree with you. Be gentle. Handle with care. I'm a fragile." When they're talking about Rocky's sister's weight nonsense: "Don't worry, sis. I'll help you. From tomorrow no cheato, only Keto." I think this line falls flat on the page but Ranveer did such a great job with it! "I bet she (Rani) even sneezes in English. So what! Aren't I aejucated too? Oh wow! You're aejucated, bro? Just because you read the label on a protein box doesn't make you educated." Ok, ok, I'll stop now! 😂

I had to join to watch Tu Jhooti Main Makkar and this movie thank you😊😭I would recommend the hindi romance movies Baar Baar Dekho and Main Tera Hero ❤️ They are both different genres one is a romdram with scifi elements and the other is an out and out hilarious romcom. I know your indian youtube audience is mostly males who like action and hence you have missed out on these genres in bollywood a lot, but keep watching them. We love them here on patreon 🙏 And I'm sure you would reach this genres audience on youtube as well

(I don't remember if you're new to Indian movies, Bhansali is a famous director known for his lavish sets and elaborate musical numbers mostly in a traditional style, Devdas especially has a lot a red like that, and actually the Devdas song Dhola Re was heard when Rocky dances with Rani's dad 😊)
