Diamond Dave , there’s a Kdrama that’s in the lead to be the next reaction after My Name but when you search it up , whoever recommended it didn’t label it in the correct category which is ‘korean’ so you guys would unintentionally skip over it. Is there any way we can fix that ???

so with the ending of last episode, i dont think the point was to show Percy about to unleash some of his (admittedly immense) power, I think it was showing Percy panicking. The ship was disintergrating, the crew was gone, Annabeth, Tyson and Clarisse were ripped away. I think Percy was afraid and his closing his eyes was his reaction because even his powers werent enough to stop the maelstrom. Keep in mind Percy is 13ish, so he is still a really young kid, and that was a very kid reaction. He was trying to hold everything together, and he couldnt, so he let go As for Diamond Dave, in the books (wasnt as obvious here but i think the idea was the same) Percy and Annabeths escape was covered by the chaos of releasing the pirates. Blackbeard and his crew terrorize the Spa and cause chaos and mayhem while they escape. I think its implied here that the same thing is happening while Percy and Annabeth deal with the sirens
