RIP RENGOKU 🥲 And Oaks wig

Ser Dweeb

This arc is still technically season 2. It’s the back half of season 2

Elay

Here comes the best arc in the show!🔥

So Tired

Quick correction this isn't Season 3, this is Season 2. Here’s the correct order, ✅️Season 1 (Episodes 1-26: Unwavering Resolve Arc), ✅️The Mugen Train Arc (movie), 🟢Season 2: Entertainment District Arc, ( The one y'all are on now) Season 3: Swordsmith Village Arc, Season 4: Hashira Training Arc, and the upcoming Infinity Castle movie trilogy.

RicchFever 4

was waiting on this before I started shoveling snow 😭

So Tired

The reason why it's so confusing is because of the Mugen Train movie, which they turn it into a TV version to stretch out Season 2 (which you're starting on now) and for those who didn't watch the movie.

Elay

Aside from infinity castle

mdl

For clarity it should be 2x8 and 2x9, Mugen Train covered up to 2x7 in the TV format.

Rebby Reb

Lord Tengen in the House 🎉🎉🎉

Alise Watson

We have officially entered one of my favorite arcs 🙂‍↔️ Can't wait! You thought the animation in the first season was great? Wait til you get through this season and the others, it gets better every episode 🙌🏾

RunAwayCloak

Zenetsiu has very similar quality’s to a neet which is someone who is a degenerate who usally shy awkward and stays and home all day watch corn and thinking about women. So he really said what he said he wants to go all the way with nezuko his motivation is literally getting to marry nezuko that’s why he fights. Also keep in mind when your watching this. This is based in Japan they have diffrent cultures and also this set in and a different time period. I seen yall get disgusted when he smack her butt but that is very very common in Japan for older men who have a higher rank or power to do that. Butt-slapping or patting by older Japanese men is often an old-school, overly familiar gesture intended to express encouragement it can also be used for those who are being insubordinate which he thought they was doing that’s why it was just glossed over because it’s not seen as bad.

Trym

send him 2-3 years urokodaki and forget

TinaLama

Tanjuro's face when he lies gets me every time. He's just an honest person.

Neftaly Duran

I forgot just how amazing this arc/season is. 😭😭

RunAwayCloak

O and the entertainment district is not like Vegas. Think of it as basically a place where young girls get sold to basically prostitution houses. They sell young women to work there and the more beautiful you are and the harder you work the higher the rank you get. The higher rank determines the type of men you sleep with or talk with. The highest rank is the only rank that can pick which men they want to sleep with.

Magda Chonillo

Just a small cultural note about what the Entertainment District Arc is based on 😊 The “Entertainment District” isn’t like Las Vegas. It’s inspired by Japan’s feudal-era pleasure districts (such as Yoshiwara), where different houses employed women of different ranks. While some relationships could be sexual, it wasn’t only about that. Many women were highly educated and trained in arts, music, dance, conversation, and etiquette. They often acted as companions and entertainers, not just sex workers. Rank was extremely important, and higher-ranked women were respected for their skills, culture, and refinement. It’s a complex part of Japanese history, and this arc reflects that layered reality. Also, regarding the seasons: the Entertainment District Arc is technically the second TV season. Mugen Train was released first as a movie, and only later adapted into episodic TV format, which is why some people call this Season 3. Honestly though, it doesn’t really matter :) enjoy it however you prefer!

Magda Chonillo

And... Fun fact: 😊 The first episode is longer (around 40+ minutes) because, starting after Mugen Train, Ufotable began treating the openings of new arcs as special cinematic events. These premieres were first shown in theaters as special screenings (usually alongside the final episode of the previous arc), which is why the first episodes feel longer and more “movie-like” in animation and direction.

Magda Chonillo

Another fun fact : 😊 Uzui Tengen being married to three women isn’t random or just “polygamy for shock value.” He comes from a shinobi background (shinobi being the historical Japanese term for ninja) In certain shinobi clans, having multiple wives was culturally accepted and tied to clan traditions and survival, not romance in the modern sense. Within that context, it wasn’t considered inappropriate at all. The series also makes a point of showing that Uzui deeply respects his wives and prioritizes their safety, which adds important nuance to his character.

Aevel

these two episodes are VERY chaotic, but the next couple will be great.

bien

when you guys get to ep. 8 - gathering; could you guys watch the taisho era secrets for it pleaseeeee 🙏🏼

Jet Troy

I could be wrong, but its unfourtnate they didn't see the second op made for the episode versions of the Mugen Train arc. I would've liked to see their reaction to it.

Gianni

Some of the best demon slayer in this arc. Absolutely cannot wait

Fajar Kurniawan

Quinstinct already suspect the little child 🤣

Dis Ramen

Diamond Dave if you're reading this, just a reminder to watch the end credit scene on the next episode cause they won't repeat it for the other episodes, you guys might miss it. That's all. Thank you!

Magda Chonillo

‼️‼️ Guys, make sure to watch the next episode all the way to the end. There’s a post-credits scene that actually matters to the story — it’s not one of the usual comedic shorts, so don’t skip it! --> (And BTW after the post-credits scene, there’s also a short comedic segment set in the Kimetsu Academy universe, where the characters are shown in a parallel “school” setting. It’s just a fun, non-canon side story using the same characters, it’s not connected to the main plot at all. I’m mentioning this because if you’re not used to watching the end-of-episode shorts, this one can feel especially confusing. There have been several of these segments before, so don’t worry if it feels random — it’s just meant to be fun 😄)

targaryan women

Uzui and his wifes relationship are not necessarily like in LOVE like that but it's more like they are fulfilling their duty and has respects for each other yk

targaryan women

I mean the boys and nezuko are teenagers also they have children working in the house so i guess they fit in

targaryan women

Tengen is so wrong for smacking aoi's butt like that 😭

targaryan women

There will be a lot of camp moments, crazy battles, devastating destruction, and boobs this season

Nat

No, they are in love

Nat

Swordsmith Village is super underrated

April Perez

I'm sure it started out as respect, but they definitely love each other now. I love Tengen and his wives!!

Aria Isara

It's like the tawaifs in India, they were courtesans that had to master various artforms. Pakeezah is my fav movie on the topic but the most famous one is Mughal E Azam. If you're interested, here's a song from the movie: https://youtu.be/uASs1_CrBnE?si=XiXsPbgTV047eP56

Aria Isara

As soon as the guy said he was taking our 3 leads instead of the girls I thought "omg he will put them in drag to use as bait/spies" and I love that I was right, this is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

Chris Ritchey

The funny part about that is he was actually being nice... in a way. Aoi had disobeyed a direct order, and at this time, corporal punishment was around. That was her punishment... he tells the boys to obey his every command as he spanks her. Now, did he need to smack her butt? no, lol.

ian

so glad yall are sticking to dub, regardless of all the sub enjoyers commenting to do otherwise, literally every other reactor channel that started with dub got bullied into switching to sub.

random guy 317

Really hate when people switch based off comments they should watch the way they want .

ian

exactly, and I'm sure the comments are why their next anime will be in sub. could be wrong though

bien

i’m glad they are too! and i feel like they’re alternating to keep ppl somewhat happy. i’ve seen lots of channel get bullied into switching to sub. & man ppl say some unhinged shit. the worst comment i’ve seen was telling someone to off themselves & they shouldnt watch anime if it’s in dub…. like go touch grass & get help.

Midnight Lion

tbh since I personally can't stand the dub voices for Demon Slayer, I have a method where I watch the watch-along version and then my version is the subbed, just so I can still enjoy the reaction AND not go crazy listening to the dub. there are plenty of anime where I enjoy the dub but alas Demon Slayer is not one of them, especially because the voice acting is just so much more emotional and powerful in the sub (imo).

BlakedAsFuh

Is this S2 episodes 8 and 9?
