Damn what a treat for today!! Had my successful college interview and now MINORITY REPORT 🙌

Justin Russell

Now y’all definitely can’t go anywhere!! Once I finish my bachelors at LA Film School the screenplays I’ve written are gonna become an actual film and I’ll be expecting brutally honest reviews 🙌

Devonte Campbell

Right in time for my lunch break, let’s goo!! You guys should check out Bring Her Back on HBO Max. It is horror movie of 2025. No joke, it was perfectly terrifying

Badd Medicine

Done! 🤜🤛 Looking forward to when that day arrives.

Nyagrenen

Haha I love that the subtitles during the scene with Peter Stormare says *Speaking Russian* when it's clearly Swedish

Magda Chonillo

I loved your reactions at the end, because that’s exactly what I was hoping you’d feel! I’ve wanted you to watch Minority Report for such a long time, so I’m really happy it ended up being a surprise for most of you (except Mason Quinn, who had already seen it, like me 😄). I really liked that Mason mentioned Philip K. Dick, because I think that explains a lot about the existential vibe of the movie. His sci-fi is never just about technology, but about identity, free will, and what happens when a system decides who you are before you even get the chance to choose. I had honestly forgotten that Steven Spielberg directed it, and rewatching it now, you can really feel his touch. The nonstop action mixed with emotion and big ideas works so well, and the movie never really lets you breathe. I completely agree about the scene where John realizes who the possible killer of his son might be, that moment is incredibly intense. That’s where the movie stops feeling like just sci-fi and becomes something very human and painful. So glad you finally watched it 🖤

Awesome reaction, thank you guys! I watched the Minority Report series, but if I remember correctly, it never got a real chance before it was cancelled. It was set some time post-movie, and centered on one of the male twins (played by Stark Sands in the series) in a procedural with a twist type of show. I'm not even sure they aired all the episodes.

Colin Farrell’s character has always really stuck with me -- the way his role shifts as the story unfolds is one of the most haunting parts of the film.

Lucy Hale

If you love this movie, please upvote black mirror. You’d absolutely love it

Jan T

Yes! This is the movie I’ve most been looking forward to this month! 👏🏻🎉

Oak said the guy at the desk of the apartments looked familiar, and there might be a couple reasons for that. That is William Mapother. He’s a character actor in many things. I know him from the show Lost. But he may also look familiar because he is Tom Cruise’s cousin. Tom’s real last name is Mapother.

mdl

This and War of the Worlds were such good collaborations between Spielberg and Cruise. It's a shame they didn't make more movies together.

Ginger

Haven’t seen this since around the time it came out. Nice to watch it again. That opening sequence reminded me of The Fugitive.

Cherrie

Come on guys, let's make them watch heated rivalry!

Boris Kopp

Samantha Morton's performance as Agatha was astounding. She steals the show in so many roles. Of course you recognise her playing Alpha in The Walking Dead.

Redwan Ahmed

oh been waiting for this for so long. You guys gotta do Oblivion next. one of his best works in my opinion.

hex1c

Subtitles are all wrong. They aren't speaking Russian. Peter Stormare is Swedish, and so is Max von Sydow xD

m

I just want to contribute with a hearty "fuck paramount", of course

DustinEatWorld

I remember back then — when was that? Around seventh or eighth grade. At school, they showed us the movie, I think during physics class, because the teacher had to leave for an hour. So I only ever saw half of the film back then. It wasn’t until many years later that I finally watched it all the way through, and I was completely blown away by it. I was genuinely amazed. Such a great film!

Angela

I would love for them to watch Prisoners 2013 with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal one day

Keyuana Gray

This is definitely one of my fav Tom Cruise films. I always re-watch when on tv. Though I will clear up the fact Lamar that was not Lara's Father. They were just close friends

Aubrey

First, I'm straight up about to ship those boys some extra large dry erase markers and pen cups. It's always amusing to witness the grumpy ol' muppets bickering over colors and visibility, though. Second, arresting people for crimes they didn't commit while subverting due process and dehumanizing the precogs and potential criminals is appalling. Their government sells this idea that it's noble to sacrifice civil liberties in the pursuit of safety and the greater good. They're totally eliminating crime, right? Even if they're only targeting a very specific type of crime that makes up 0.1% of all crimes, what kind of monster wouldn't support saving lives?? If it means that a few innocent people are wrongly imprisoned based solely on the subjective information of a flawed system, then so be it. It's a vicious, exhausting cycle. Thank goodness it's totally fictional.

Eva

THANK YOU lol It was really frustrating me that they kept saying that

ElmSt Reactions

Great film and great reaction but think we need to get a petition going to get Oak to speak and watch the film at the same time🤣🤣. Was funny when Mason said usually the person seen it goes last lol, not when its you big guy, your still in there first with a " I'll just say this quick" 🤣🤣. Great reaction troops 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💚

Lauren

Wow, what a ride! I’d never seen this before, but glad I watched it here! Really good film.

Aria Isara

I had seen it once not long after it came out so I remembered almost nothing. At some point I said out loud "it has a Matrix vibe" just ONE second before DD said the same 😅 not just the visuals but also the score I think.

C. J. Ramirez

Damn I didn’t know that was alpha

Miya

This is one of my favorites! I haven't seen it in years though, so rewatching it alongside y'all was so much fun. I will say, that the treatment of the precogs reaaaally messes with me whenever I watch this movie. They were traumatized kids who grew up to be adults who were regularly abused "for the greater good." I can't imagine being kept in a state of semi-consciousness where I'm forced to see murder after murder, and even recount the murder of my own mother for years. Their ending made me SO happy. Ugh. What a great movie. It really makes you think!

Brian Albright

I’m super late to this, but Lamar was not the father-in-law. There was only pictures of them together at the wedding because they were close friends.
