The thing with Harper and Robyn, like Mason Quinn said, is you guys have a child together; you're not going to get rid of each other. My head was spinning.

I see both sides; it's like Harper is begging her to stay but still at the same time there was infidelity with Harper again, with Jorden going back to the first movie. Robyn moving her and Mia to Ghana was like, "wtf," but like diamond Dave said, it was complicated.

That shit happens with Robyn and Harper; that's the reality. It's not always a happy ending. especially with their daughter, them getting a divorce and moving to different states or counties, and sometimes you figure it out but in this case it doesn't work that way.

Thank you Oak. It definitely was poor writing. Hated the whole Africa storyline. Harper would’ve won in court but it’s a show and he didn’t want to put his daughter through that. I was on his side when it came to that and also was annoyed by everyone ganging up on him because of it. Ridiculous. That was my biggest issue with the show.

I love Oak calling it in the beginning about Lance and Jasmine 😂 I couldn’t believe it. That’s why I love Oak so much. He picks up on everything. Great reaction y’all.

I think you guys missed the part where Harper agreed to give Robin primary/full custody. That means she has full custody but Harper gets visitation. He wanted her to derail her plans, yet again, to make his visitation easier. Despite the fact that he could afford to fly to visit her anytime as he was a millionaire at this point. Also, from Robin’s POV, Harper has been an absentee father and husband. Robin was basically raising their child solo. How often did we see Harper with Mia before the divorce? Exactly. But NOW he wants to swoop in and try to control how and where Robin raises their daughter. I personally believe Harper never wanted to be a father. He seemed so disinterested in his daughter outside of her being a set piece to his perfectly crafted image. I was on Robin’s side 100%. It’s tiring seeing fathers leave mothers to do EVERYTHING then wan to step in only when it’s convenient for them. NAH! Harper’s a dick. Harper’s a workaholic. Harper’s a cheater. Robin and Mia deserved better.

I think the Africa storyline made a lot of sense if you pay close attention. I don’t think it’s right for her to take her to Africa but from Robyn’s perspective he only turned on the heat in the house when he felt like it (his kid lives there)… he was MIA to write for weeks and he finally signs his rights away in the end because he knows he won’t make time for the kid. Everything is based on Harper’s convenience. I think Robyn knew he’d pretend to fight but be okay with her taking the kid.

Jordan isn’t interested in a full romantic relationship with Harper and that’s why he’s still stuck on her after all these years. I think this scenario is meant to represent how some men don’t fully let go of their first love or the one that got away and unfortunately Robyn never felt like a prize to Harper. That’s why Harper wrote that he wants “a Pulitzer Prize and the ultimate prize”. In his mind that’s the unattainable Jordan. Robyn gave 20 years to someone who was in love with someone else.

Oh, a movie you guys will love by the same director as The Best Man movies and series: Roll Bounce. I think it’s already on the site. It stars Bow wow, the kid from Holes who plays zero etc and takes place in the 70’s. It’s really funny..

I support Robyn because ever since the first movie, Taye has been in love with Jordan! He cheated on Robyn in the first movie, only needed Robyn for her advice which helped him be successful, never put her first in a romantic sense and as a wife only as a provider. Taye disrespected Robyn in the secondd movie when she was pregnant and consoling Jordan behind her back. He was always take take from Robyn and put her in the back burner. Now I don't agree with taking children to another country BUT he has the means to go to the country and stay as long as he wants or keep her himself. Robyn gave decades of her life to a marriage and dreams she was in the back burner. So I am on Robyn's side. BUT in the real world as regular parents, I do NOT support moving children away from a good parent in this case.

That’s not is entirely true. Jordan wanted Harper but unlike her other love interests, Harper has no real assertiveness or desire to push for a relationship with her. The minute his moment is gone, he walks away and tries something different. In contrast, the guy from TBM2, the guy from their vacation in EP1/2 and Demetrius all seem very assertive. They continued chasing Jordan even after she initially rejected them and she eventually folds. Harper doesn’t have that in him
