Hello everyone, we wanted to provide an official update on the poll results. This round showed more variation than usual between Patreon and YouTube Members. 99 percent of the time results across both platforms are very similar, which is why we typically don’t issue updates.

As noted in the descriptions, these polls are shared between both Patreon and YouTube Members. Final results are calculated using a 70/30 weighted split—70% Patreon and 30% YouTube Members. This approach reflects the difference in size between the two communities while still ensuring both groups have a meaningful impact on the outcome.

This is the first time we’ve needed to apply a weighted system due to differences between platforms. While no system will be perfect, we believe this is a fair approach that represents both communities, and we’ll continue to refine it as we move forward if needed. We’re always open to feedback if you feel there are ways to improve it.

Results are in the graphic.

Tick tick boom will be reacted to one day, I believeeee😭😭

Neftaly Duran

All I wanted was moulin rouge. So I am very happy. 🥰🥰🥳

Brittany Mack-Israel

I love goofy movie but honestly bee movie is such a gem to react to. But goofy movie 2 is the best one out of the batch.

Isolde

Noooo boy in the striped pyjamas did not make it🥺

Jessi

Oof. 2/3 ain't bad!

Miki🐭

I am rooting for Tick Tic Boom and In The Heights🙌

Ron B.

They need to watch RENT first right? (I haven’t seen either)

Caldarus

This is a great system! Appreciate the transparency! ❤️

Javi

Erin Marie

Dang, I wanted Goofy Movie! The competitive polling makes for some interesting results

Lauren

We appreciate the time and thought you put into being as fair as possible!

Raquelly Reacts

Omg yay! 🥹 so excited for you all to watch the pursuit of happyness it’s such an incredible movie!

SeaShel

I’m confused, did A Walk To Remember win or lose? I can’t remember what it was up against

Badd Medicine

Walk to remember won on both. You'll see the results on the graphic, 49%/48% (yt & Patreon)🤙🤙🤙

Zoe S

Thanks Diamond Dave💞 and sorry for causing you extra work in having to explain how you work it out💞

Lord W.

Omg yaassss, Pursuit of Happyness, let's gooooo!! 😁

Chikky Coco

You guys know your stuff on A Walk To Remember! You guys are gonna love the movie!

Chikky Coco

People just wanna see the memes lol

Zen Reacts

Between Goofy Movie and Bee mobie id rather watch a good movie over a meme slopfest

Crystal

If you went by total paid subscribers between both platforms, I assume there was roughly 3641 paid YouTube subscribers so the 70/30 weighting you did was correct. If you went by the total people who actually voted for each individual poll, in the case of the Moulin poll, if there was 991 YouTube voters and I see 2312 patrons voted, the 70/30 is still correct. The best way to be fair in my opinion is each poll becomes its own sample, to get its own weighting ratio. So instead of, in this case 70/30 across the board, every poll has its own weighting based on the total votes across both platforms for that singular poll, since not everyone votes for every poll and totals vary. Hope that makes sense!

Beary

I definitely see eye to eye with you, The Goofy Movie absolutely stands out. 😂

Megan

Yes! Moulin Rouge and A Walk to Remember!

J

The lineups for the polls were stupidly good that I literally am happy that we’re watching any of it 🤣

melrr

I think it terms of yt views bee movie it will do good at least for the guys

AttractivePigeon

sorry, not gonna lie, but I'm glad BITSP didn't win.

Ryan Holmes

honestly the recent shows and movies have been rough

Leisha

The patreon votes did not come through...they know what's up on the YT member side

Maisie

Aw, it’s so nice that you’re so thoughtful and clearly put such an effort into making everyone feel heard. ❤️

Alanna Meyers 🍌

As a recent YouTube member, it was really interesting to see how differently YouTube members were voting vs Patreon voters. This was my first set of polls being both a Patreon and YouTube member 😊

TexasSnyper

I can't believe Bee Movie beat the GOAT Goofy Movie

Alexandra ASMR

I can’t believe The boy in the striped pyjamas lost! 😞

Lord W.

Just FYI everyone, just because certain movies 'won'or 'lost' the poll, doesn't mean they'll *only* watch the winners, those will just be reacted to first. They'll eventually watch more of the entries on the polls, just with a slightly lower priority than the winner. Correct me if I'm wrong, DD 🤘

GillyBean

ok i'm a little relieved striped pajamas didn't win, as it's quite controversially inaccurate. it's for the best. i haven't seen pursuit of happyness in aagggees, will be good to revisit. i miss that era of Will Smith

Crispy

sooooooooooo happy we got pursuit of happiness, in my top ten movies.

Crispy

i voted for bee movie cos I havn't seen goofy imm saaaawieeeee

Ferilleeagh

There were recent polls? Dunno how I missed those >.<

Kalkent

Didn't have DD doing basic Algebra to find out the winner in a poll in my bingo card.

Shanelle

Thank goodness for YT pursuit of happyness is great❤️

Brooksie

Yay glad pursuit of happiness made it 🎉

Brooksie

Hopefully we get more dreamworks animated movies in the future. Its been back to back Disney recently

Tania R

Zoe, you didn’t do anything wrong at all 💛 A lot of us with dual memberships could already see the differences between Patreon and YouTube - it was all visible anyway. I think they just explained it this time because the gap was bigger than usual. You’re all good 😊

Liloo99

I don‘t understand why people are so obsessed with a walk to remember. I wish bride wars had won

Tania R

Honestly I’ve never seen the memes people mention around Bee Movie - maybe it’s just a niche thing - but I’ve always found the movie itself a lot of fun 😅 It does seem like there’s a bit more negativity here compared to elsewhere, especially from people who haven’t seen it. It doesn’t need to be the best to be enjoyable for a reaction. Since it’s been selected, I’m happy to roll with it 😊

hex1c

I dont get how Goofy lost. :/

Natacha P

Yes, you're right that this is what they've said in the past! That said, The Croods lost a poll YEARS ago and they still haven't watched it 😭🤣

roxie c

i’m ready to see you guys laugh and to see your faces during bee movie ☠️🤠

Chris Retzlaff

Can patrons vote on youtube ? I didn't see that poll.....🤣

Tania R

You can if you have YouTube (BM) membership. These types of polls are not available on general YT.

Cherrie

Can't you watch the top two??

Loki

They would have loved Bride Wars! I voted for that one. But they’ll get to it eventually 🤞🏼

Liloo99

bee movie over goofy?? i don‘t get it either and i grew up on both

Loki

I know! Such a good movie!

Loki

Idk about any memes 😂 but Bee Movie is fun!

Sam

The amount of times Oak has referenced his knowledge for the world wars in various different reactions and were not voting the boy with the striped pajamas??? Are we okay folks?😅

Rawaby 1204

Didn’t even know Goofy was that close to win .. i thought the competition was between Bee movie and Turning Red 😮 glad Bee movie won

Peter B

More math post! Love it

Rawaby 1204

I believe that a lot of people are not that interested/do not watch a movie about the typical Disney characters , Bee movie is a stand alone and may be better for reactions

Katie

Still feel like Room was robbed. A lot of people think it’s The Room lol

Rebecca B1

I'm sorry i'm new to patreon but is there a difference with youtube membership ? it is more or less the same price so what is the difference in terms of content ?

Katie

Same

Badd Medicine

YT members receive the same content. Same price. Unfortunately, yt members don't get access to the website at this time and there is issues with members only seeing content for the last 8 weeks. Yt has some kind of bug on that.

Katie

All movies in the polls are on the list. It’s just to see what to watch first

Katie

I’m glad it lost. Oak is smart about his history, so don’t think he will like how that movie portrays WW2 or the ending

Mackenzie OReally Bravo

Hey DD - Idk if you've seen these comments yet, but Rent should be watched BEFORE tick tick boom in future polls 😌

QCGV5

Happy with the results, LOVE A Walk to Remember and Pursuit of Happiness. Maybe some other day you’ll watch Goofy movie? I remember loving that one, it’s so much fun. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a fun one to watch too.

QCGV5

Goofy Movie is not typical Disney at all though lol

ren

so glad tbitsp lost and hopefully they change their mind about watching it in the future because there's legitimate reasons not to waste time on that one. there are so many better movies about similar subject matter, The Zone of Interest for example.

Plebcy

wow this is really interesting to see. Thanks for the update DD!

Nomer Doodle

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is generally hated by historians. The Auschwitz Museum stated in 2020: "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" should be avoided by anyone who studies or teaches about the history of the Holocaust." So I don't think we missed out here.

mdl

The anime poll in April will be even wilder. Can’t wait for the discussion for THAT. 🫡

Jon Smith

Hey Sam, maybe do some research into the thing you are talking about instead of acting like you know more than everyone because you like the bad movie/book. It's incredibly historically inaccurate and is denounced by many Holocaust scholars. Read a real book or watch a movie about the Holocaust that will actually educate you, not this horrible movie.

Jon Smith

Tania, please, I do not think Bee Movie is bad because I haven't watched it. I think it's bad because it's abysmal. You don't have to be so offended by people not liking something you do you start accusing them of not having watched the movie. Like whatever you want, but don't get upset when someone doesn't.

Jon Smith

Good. Horrible movie and book, denounced by Holocaust scholars; latch on to a different Holocaust movie that is not offensive to actual history instead of this sentimental dreck.

Nomer Doodle

Room is an amazing film, and it was my vote. I would lowkey also love a reaction to The Room, I can't lie haha. I think it'd be such a fun reaction.

Katie

Maybe they will at some point with the attention it’s been getting. I love their reactions to stuff like that. It’s a fun ride lol

Katie

Yeah I don’t think people read completely because they do state all will be watched at some point lol

Chris Retzlaff

I know....I was just implying for competitive sake....for oatreons to win...just a bad joke

Lord W.

Settle down kids, here's daddy (I'm JOKING), but really: The BaddMedicine guys don't shy away from anything just because it's historically inaccurate or anything like that. Even better: The discussion afterwards will be all the better for it.

Tania R

Oohh I see 😄

Tania R

Hey Jon, I’m really not the one upset here 😅 just sharing my take. All good if you disagree - it’s just a movie. Have a great day!

Sam

I don’t remember saying anything about the historical accuracy of the movie, I just believe it would make a great reaction video with someone like oak on the table. Hope this helps 👍

Sam

Exactly my point, thank you.

fatoumata cisse

they'll get to it, we just have to waittt

Day

A lot of people still wanted them to see it. So thats not fair.

Day

I wanted The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas to win....

ren

Ah yes can we please prioritize the feelings of the people who apparently adore holocaust fanfiction films (that have been literally disavowed by several organizations and has been said to set Holocaust education back), and for what? to make them feel better about themselves? 😪 as if nazi rhetoric isn't alive and well in 2026. Honestly hopefully those of us speaking up about the issues with tbitsp opened a lot of folks who voted for it's eyes and they realized that the movie they used to like/love isn't what was originally assumed. Playing fanfiction with a genocide is just wrong, I don't care how many willfully blissfully ignorant people want to bring more attention to it, there will always be others reminding yall what it really is. And you guys know you can still watch the movie on your own time, which I could not care less about, but these guys have a platform and it would be ghoulish to make a reaction to this joke of a film. Again, consider watching The Zone of Interest instead.

Kevin Landon

Holy Algrebra Batman! We are getting Pursuit of Happiness after all!

enyo96

some of us don’t even know the memes you’re talking about, it’s just a fun movie lol don’t let the internet kids ruin it for you

Pucki

I like the stats but i have to admit i didnt vote

ImaKatPerson

DD, I just checked and it says a YT membership is $10/month and Patreon is $6/month ($5 if you pay annually), so I’m a bit confused when you say same price.

Aria Isara

You need to see a movie to make up your own mind about it, unless there is something objectively disturbing for example an actor or director was found guilty of SA so you might want to boycott it, it's not a good approach to tell someone "don't watch because some of us have an issue with it". Let people have their own opinion. Inglorious Basterds is also fan fic about WW2. It also shows things that never happened - it's because it's not a documentary. Even Bridgerton is fan fic and I have seen people have an issue with it because they say its refusal to include racism in the story, and the way it shows POC as fully integrated in society without any issue or any mention ever about skin colour, end up being problematic. Some people just have a hard time accepting historical *fiction* and while it's ok to express what you personally don't like in it and what you find problematic, it doesn't mean others will agree. As to the 2026 real life Nazi rhetoric, you might have seen recently the story of a MAGA woman who son was killed by ICE. It's tragic irony and it's the main plot point in TBITSP. It's not a movie that encourages fascism. I don't think there are people out there who watch this movie and go "yeah, Nazism makes so much sense"...

Badd Medicine

I would post a pic showing that but he we aren't allowed to post photos.

Aria Isara

The people going on and on about historical inaccuracy... Why do they refuse to understand it's historical fiction? Are these people also up in arms about Inglorious Basterds? It's an even stronger modification of history than TBITSP because it shows real people like Hitler and completely changes what happened to them...

Aria Isara

Tania I re read your comment 3 times and I'm still trying to find where you supposedly got "offended" lol 😄💀

Aria Isara

This post looks like a math lesson to me 🤣

LSA

I’m happy pursuit of happiness and bee movie won

Nomer Doodle

No, people are not up in arms about Inglorious Basterds. Mainly because the plot of that film being different to what actually happened is the entire point of the film. Part of the reason the movie works so well is because the viewer knows how WW2 ended in Europe, and there's satisfaction from seeing how the movie plays on that expectation and changes it. Being subversive is the point! This is *clearly* not the case with The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. It is not even remotely the same thing.

Slick447

I mean, you shouldn't be getting education about the Holocaust from a fictional film in the first place. It may not be the most accurate representation of a historical event, but pretending like it doesn't exist doesn't solve anything. MANY historical fiction films are guilty of the same crime as TBITSP. You learn from mistakes, you don't hide them.

Tania R

Lol yes Aria 😅 I was scratching my head like huh?? did I miss something? 😂💛

ren

not arguing with people purposefully misunderstanding and misconstruing what I'm saying. I said what I said (and a lot of the responses I'm getting are clearly moving the goalposts and making the usual, typical excuses lol) and I stand by it. Like I said, watch whatever YOU want but don't get surprised when a harmful and offensive (and at best overrated) piece of media continues to get criticized and railed against when it's potentially going to be platformed by and for people who usually take nothing from it other than a surface level "oh no the holocaust was so sad and cruel that poor non jew got gassed too ):" I will not be responding again. Consider doing some basic research.

slavicandsapphic

Not so fun fact, the US uses TBITSP as “educational material”. So while YOU say we shouldn’t be getting education from this movie, the author and education system of this country disagrees. THAT is why it is such a huge controversy. So no, no one is up in arms about Inglorious Bastards *because it is not the same thing*. Also, other movies while “inaccurate” are trying to say more than just showing events. They try to tell a story, to tell you what/how to feel. Fiction is a big part of how many people will carry views into their day to day. You may not think it important, but fictions alters people’s viewpoints drastically. How many times have the guys watched a historical film to be like “wow I cannot believe that HAPPENED” or “I wonder what this was like in real life”. TBITSP would have NEVER happened for a multitude of reasons, and it is a dangerous piece of fiction because it perpetuates (some, not all) myths about the Holocaust used by antisemites. There is a REASON Holocaust historians have grief with this movie. Also, one last thing to note, using other films have inaccuracies as a reason to defend this film is flimsy reasoning at best and damaging at worst. I think historical movies (ones that are serious like TBITSP) should always make sure they’re being true to what happened vs making up fiction about a REAL genocide. There’s sensitivity readers out there for a reason.

Alexandra

Pursuit of Happiness!! Heck yeah!! :D

Aria Isara

Nomer: People above have mentioned "historical inaccuracy" as an argument against the movie. Now you're saying historical inaccuracy is ok in another movie because it was made to be fictionalized. Ok. Maybe I'm unaware so did the writer of TBITSP pretend like his story is historically accurate? Because in the comment section people who dislike the movie have said he defended his work by saying it's fiction. I remember people being pissed at The Da Vinci Code because the author wrote in the prologue that all the historical parts were true (which was a lie as some were legends). Did the author of TBITSP do that? Was the movie promoted as historically accurate? If not, arguments about "historical inaccurency" aren't relevant.

Valerie ♡

Who’s the statistician of badd medicine haha

AA

Wow I did not think my fellow Patreon members would let me down with a Goofy Movie! I don’t know about memes everyone keeps mentioning. All I know is my VHS tape has had many rewatches just because it’s a great movie.

Jack Richman

I hope they still watch The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas after it’s an amazing film

MandaM

Not Bee movie 😭🤣🤣

Arion Floyd

The Bee Movie over A Goofy Movie is a tragedy😭

slavicandsapphic

oh its abt to be MESSYYYY in april. Im so scared

ct

I get a feeling we’re gonna be seeing a recognizable couple of comments…i have my popcorn ready

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

I strongly recommend anyone who wants to know what this argument is about read the following articles: This is about how The Boy in the Striped Pajamas de-centers the genocide of the Jewish people and gives voice and sympathy to the Nazis: https://storytimesolidarity.com/pajamafication/ This is an article from the Holocaust Centre UK about how The Boy in the Striped Pajamas furthers dangerous lies about the Holocaust: https://holocaustcentrenorth.org.uk/blog/the-problem-with-the-boy-in-the-striped-pyjamas/

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is one of the worst films made about the Holocaust. It's denounced by literally every Holocaust museum and information centre. It shifts the sympathy to the Germans and takes Jewish victims' voices away.

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

yeah - A Walk to Remember is sitting at a fat 30% on Rotten Tomatoes. Sometimes I have to wonder what folks are thinking.

Jordan_Sal 413

People need to stop preaching in the comments trying to get others to boycott certain movies. They’re just that, movies. And we’re all here for one reason, entertainment. This isn’t the place to try to throw your high horsing around. It’s wild how today there’s groups of people set on dismissing what others would like to do simply because they don’t like something

Knightmare

At least we got Bee Movie I guess LOL

Aria Isara

Charity: I would not call it a movie about the Holocaust per se, so the issue is there to begin with. If people watch it from the angle that it will portray what happened during the Holocaust then they will be upset. But we already have movies and even better actual documentaries about it. I don't agree with condemning a movie for choosing to tell an adjacent story. There's room for all sorts of stories as long as it doesn't promote Nazism. I would like to hear from other people who liked the movie, because in my case I liked it and it didn't make me feel any sympathy for the Nazis. Maybe I'm in the minority. Maybe others saw it and thought the Nazis deserved sympathy and if so I'd like to know the reasoning. As to Holocaust museums denouncing the movie, sorry but if I don't hear a valid argument I won't agree just because they said so. Besides, these past few years these museums have faced backlash for refusing to denounce other genocides, for example the LA Holocaust Museum posting on social media that "never again" is "not just for Jews" then taking down the post because it was interpreted as condemning the situation in Gaza, and they said it wasn't their intention to do so... (that is one example among many) So forgive me if I'm taking with a grain of salt whatever they might be saying about a fictional movie that IMO is in no way defending Nazis.

Maria

as a 90's baby, I grew up with A Walk to Remember. Mandy Moore was really popular at that time and it's an emotional film. there's a lot of good nostalgic films on RT that have low scores.

Soph

I love moulin rouge !!!!

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

There's a difference between not liking something and knowing that it is deliberate misinformation and misdirection about a genocide. Some movies shouldn't be given a platform.

Kyle

Pls react to Bronx tale sometime down the road. Directed by Robert dniro

fatoumata cisse

literally and the guys are gonna eventually watch all of these recs anyway.

peachy af

Im already guessing it'll be a bloodbath between like jjk and mha fans or something

Leah

No doubt, and here I am just waiting for Haikyuu to hit the polls (I see that pfp😉)

peachy af

HAIKYUU MENTIONED

melrr

It's a meme movie at most at least it will do good in views on YT for the guys.

melrr

It's a meme movie at most. It will do good in YT views at least for the guys.

Katie

So all the Jews that hate the movie and are not okay with it just mean nothing? And it definitely portrays as a movie about the Holocaust. And also it has been a huge discussion about what Charity said about giving sympathy to the Germans. When doing any movie about such a serious moment in history there is no telling an adjacent story.

CapitalTrymesWithP

Please react to “Anne of green gables” 1985 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Franchely

I’m so glad tbitsp lost, anyone in these comments arguing in favor of this movie should look up why there’s so much controversy around it and educate themselves

Rajat Kumar

It's a movie, not all movies are based around historical accuracy, nor are they meant to shy away from creating fiction. The message was clear enough. The author, John Boyne, is absolutely correct when he says "it can effectively introduce young readers to difficult subjects and promote empathy". As he also said, the people that go out of their way to hate on this movie are just making "online attacks".

Jake Kez

Solid mathematics 👌

Revanchist

Doesn't matter. It's a movie and people will watch it regardless of your opinion.

jazziejupiter

Great movies!!! Moulin Rouge was a classic on the ladies sports trips in my school back in the day HAHA

Pharoshaven

Damn we don’t get a Powerline album and now we lost a reaction smh 😂

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

no, it can effectively introduce young readers into empathy for the white Germans -- which it has been proven to do. It is a story that promotes dangerous myths about the Holocaust.

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

"As he also said, the people that go out of their way to hate on this movie are just making "online attacks"." -- oh, so he knows why people hate the movie? He's a mind-reader? Don't you think the author of the book would say that regardless of what anyone says online?

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

But I'm still allowed to share my opinion, right? Or is there a new rule that says I can't share my opinion? BTW this movie has been denounced by Holocaust museums and organizations worldwide. So it's not just "my opinion."

ct

If entertainment has you shutting your entire brain down and ignoring important information (ie the fact that tbisp is a horribly inaccurate representation of the holocaust) then maybe it’s time to turn off the phone.

Aria Isara

Katie: no it doesn't mean nothing, but I can't tell you that I agree the movie gives sympathy to the Nazis or Germans in general since this is not how I felt when I watched it. But as I said maybe I'm in the minority so I would like to hear why others liked it. As to the movie not showing real history, I agree the movie shouldn't be used for educational purpose, apparently a lot of teachers are using the book/movie in class, which doesn't make sense to me since we have books that are real accounts (my class read Primo Levy's account in high school) or more historically accurate movies and of course documentaries. But as long as it's not used for education I don't see a problem with the movie existing. IMO the problem in this case would be incompetent teachers.

Coco chanel

Please don’t tell me I have to wait two months for in the heights

Rajat Kumar

Again, it's a movie.. there are movies that go into many terrible things that are based on reality which aren't historically accurate. Should we ostracise and demonise everyone who shares an idea which we don't agree with? Isn't that obviously ironic based on the context of the movie? You, nor anyone, gets to decide the freedom of expression when it comes to art and obvious fiction. Many religions and ideologies have done this in history and done worse than "make a movie with altered history" to the artists. This movie was the reason I started understanding the initial history of what happened as a child and went further to understand the reality as I grew up.

Rajat Kumar

It is also well known that there were germans that refused to take part and saved a lot of people and some were killed as a measure. Think that through in your own mind.

jazziejupiter

Went to watch Pursuit of Happyness in theaters with my family. We all left silent...

DezzCuse

I think you missed the point of the film and definitely the point of the book. Not at all arguing with you here but not sure why you’re coming at people for wanting to see the guys react to a movie on their reaction channel. I come to bad medicine to avoid all the political arguing. That why I pay the subscription and have for years. Just don’t watch that reaction if it bugs you that much. As someone who grew up researching and being obsessed with studying WW2 specifically the movie made me despise nazis even more than I already did. You’re following a child who’s completely oblivious to the world around him. He becomes friends with the kid in the camp. The message of the movie/book is more we’re taught hate and we can love each other. Thats what I’ve always taken from it. Not sure where the whole sympathizing with nazis argument came from. Beauty of movies is different people can take away different things from it. So I’m not trying to dismiss or diminish what you took from it. Guess I’m just saying let the guys watch it and see what they take from it 🤷🏻‍♂️ hope you have a great day. Also yes it’s not an accurate movie. I think it’s more about trying to tell that message I said above than trying to be historically accurate. Plenty of options if accuracy is what’s being looked for but they don’t watch every movie for accuracy. The book is considered a historical FICTION for a reason.
