Had a quick look at the trailer and this looks like such a solid thriller 👀 An investigation into a serial killer targeting young schoolgirls… definitely dark, but the tension looks great. Keen to watch this one with you guys!

Neha

to anyone who's thinking of skipping this as they think it might not be for them- please don't, you're in for a real treat!

Since you guys have not watched any historical movie from Bollywood (hindi cinema) as yet I would highly recommend PADMAAVAT starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone & Shahid Kapoor. All of whom you have seen before. This is by the legendary bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his epic period pieces. You should also consider watching his series HEERAMANDI, which captures the courtesans of india during India's partition era so beautifully. It is only an 8 episode series. You could try to sprinkle it in if possible & get to see indian history ✨

Tarini

Also hoping for a fun romcom from bollywood with song and dance next maybe? Like a Main Tera Hero, Badrinath Ki Dulhania or Kalank

Ali Fakhroo

Also they bring it in this movie similar music that I hear before in k drama serial killers tv show that called (mouse) the greatest serial killers story and show that I have ever seen .

kay

mouse was released after this though..

Knightmare

I really enjoyed this one even though the end got a little weird 😂 I seriously thought the movie was going to end with a zoom out and as Assistant Director yelling cut because the guy was directing a movie about himself the whole time and it was just really meta. Unfortunately all of that was real 😭

Lauren

I did not know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this! Had me on the edge of my seat!

Lauren

I was not going to watch this, but I got sucked in! Love a great villain and awesome hero!

For a meta story I really hope they react to Jigarthanda and Jigarthanda Double X one day, they're very famous Tamil movies and really unique, sadly not many upvotes on the website 😭 (because most of their patrons are Hindi speakers it seems)

Aria Isara

It's a decent thriller and I was never bored but I did find it run of the mill, and because of a few other details I'd give a 3.3. Indian thrillers that I'd recommend are Badlapur (revenge with a twist), Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya (investigation/dark comedy), Drishyam (slow burn mystery), Andhadhun (thriller/dark comedy), Kahaani (thriller), Aadai (part drama part single location thriller, very unique, the lead actress played the teacher in Ratsasan), Ek Villain (thriller about a serial killer/romantic drama, partly based on Korean thriller I Saw The Devil), Doctor (2021 Tamil thriller about the trafficking of girls but there is also a lot of dark humour, it's quite unique), Udta Punjab (thriller/ dark comedy/drama), Ludo (mosaic movie also mixing thriller/dark humour).
