Btw It's called a 'finger heart' lol. 🫰🏼The guy was not gesturing about 'money'.

Childless Bambino

This series has been great for me. A lighter hearted show that i had was meant to watch in 2024. I chose to watch Itaewon Class instead. And both have been great!

Simone

i might have to add the new kdrama The Wonderfools on ya'll recommendation list, Park Eun Bin (woo young woo) has such range, it would be great if you guys can watch more of her shows

Mari Vaz

This episode showed showed how anyone can be preyed upon. We had two neurotypical women being manipulated - the wife, who was manipulated for years - and Suyeon who got out before things went bad, but only because another woman warned her... a woman that had lost a lot of money while being with the guy. I really appreciate them showing how, even though neurodivent people are very vulnerable, anyone can be manipulated into a bad relationship.

Jackie Jack

Unfortunately 🫰🏾is a heart. Given that he's an illegal gambler and this is a wholesome show, this gesture was hinting to us that the husband is not as nice as we once thought.

Ellie

Squid Game, too!

The whole "Bump" banter between Quinn/Oak during the intro theme was so funny to listen to hehe & who didn't love Pixie Sticks (called Sherbet Straws in UK cause they have a more sour taste with the sugar) & getting hyper sugar rush from them as kids (the pink & green ones were the best!) 😝 Well I WAS going to say what a much needed light hearted episode after the previous ones, but then saw the 2nd half of eps, it's 1 of those cases where I wasn't rooting for Woo's client to win, this eps portrayed well of how greed can corrupt/change a person, sorry but no sympathy from me about what happened to Mr Shin, that's Karma for for what you did. (he was a douche in 'The Glory' & 'Squid Game' too) I also thought it was a gesture for money too, LOVED all your reactions to Woo's Client trying to bribe people & video call with Jun-Ho, was sweet they had their perfect kiss & calmed Woo being her 'personal hugging chair'. Still think Kwon is a snake after that dirty rotten deal made at the end there!.

Ellie

He was one of the guards in season 1, involved in the organ harvesting. Participated in SA'ing a dying woman. Gross dude in all three roles lol

Doesn’t matter what the kdrama is about, 99.99% of the time there will be some sort of romance and I love it. I’ve seen plenty to confirm this scientific data. Idc if it’s completely unrelated to the storyline bc I love cheesy-ness and fantasy in my dramas. Also this is like a top 10 kdrama for me. I really hope there is a season 2 like they promised years ago😫

I’m just now realized that client of this case is the same actor that play a creepy teacher and college of main character in “The Glory”. The hair cut is truly play a major role in appearance changes 🙈

I love how you enjoyed the window moment at 24:12! That was priceless! Oak’s “Oh, that’s sweet” at 33:10 — that was my personal winning of 3 billion won, no less 🥺🥺🥺 I love how all three of you had a good laugh this episode! But second half indeed took the most darker tone

In the post-discussion, when MQ said: “Woo’s relationship… that seems to be going well, so I feel like there’s not really a need to dive into it too much,” I was like: “What are you talking about?” 😱😱 We’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the main couple’s romance the most! So don’t shut down the topic just because things seem good between them. There’s still a lot to discuss! However, I was glad Oak finally spoke more extensively about Jun-ho’s actions in this episode and appreciated his attempt to do useful research that could help Young-woo!

It's been such a fun ride with all of you for this show! I love the commentary. As someone who has extended family and friends on the spectrum I really appreciate the discussions and understanding.

ParkMinJeon

Yup ! Season 2 is currently being written

cait

that was a wild episode -- wasn't expecting the second half to be so crazy like that.

LiveLaughLoveZonZon

I’m cracking up at you all thinking a “finger heart” is money 😭🤣

Aria Isara

I recognized him very fast, he had a secondary role in the 2nd kdrama I ever watched (Sell Your Haunted House) and he also played a douchebag lol

Aria Isara

He also played a douchebag in Sell Your Haunted House 😅 (with a redemption though)

Aria Isara

Whaaaat??? There will be a 2nd season?!

Aria Isara

They realized later in the ep 😅

Aria Isara

At first I was like "oh it's the 1st time I see this actor (the husband) in a positive role... then the twist came 😅 You guys discovering the heart fingers was really funny 😁 It's very common in Korea (maybe Asia in general?) but not so much in the west.

Chloe

It’s on the recommendations page on their website. I checked yesterday when I saw Park Eun Bin on Wonderfools

Bekka NoyB

Woo's look at guy when he keeps trying to manipulate peeps to help his case 😄 That car scene near the end! 😧 then Junho's hug 🤗BTW - 50M won is bout $40K. Like how Choi charged and took that bottle from the bar

Why is it then when I watch this on Netflix with English subtitles, they are different than the subtitles I see in Badd Medicine's Uncut versions?

TheEmpurpler⁷

When watching Kdramas, there are 2 options for subtitles - English or English CC. The translation people should use is ENGLISH, which is the English TRANSLATION. What some people mistakenly use (like they're doing) is use ENGLISH CC, which is the CLOSED CAPTIONING of the English DUBBING. If I had to guess, when a show DUBS, they often change the words so that the words can sometimes look similar to what is being said in Korean (mouth shape wise?) Sometimes the difference between the 2 is significant - always use English subs not English CC
