guys in season 4 there is an actress who was in harry potter…i hope you will recognize her!!

Kickinthescience

So far Queen Charlotte still has the most memorable emotional finale

ondraya

These episodes and Season 4 reactions coming soon just in time for Pride month...hell yeah

Halima

THE BABY WAS ALREADY IN THERE

Amanda Diaz

lol I love that Titok 🤣

Amanda Diaz

Sad to see my favorite season is over 😭. But I’m glad yall enjoyed it. Season 4 is meh to me but still can’t wait to see yalls reaction! & to add they did change show runners for this season, that’s why it feels different. A lot of people were upset about it. Maybe after the Bridgerton universe yall can watch Scandal, it’s from Shonda who made Bridgerton. Has lots of drama & scandal lol.

Emily G

You guys have to watch Outlander after this is over! It’s such a great show and hardly has anyone reacting to it. I think you guys would enjoy it 🙏

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

Diamond Dave that is a GREAT color on you! KEEPING IT RAKE-Y 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 And *I* said "Party on, Garth" in response to your "Party on, Wayne" - know that you are seen 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Chrissy

every time I rewatch season 3 and they get together that tik tok is in my head XD

Halima

oh wow someone else who thought s4 was meh! I hope the reactions will change my mind

Ari

I haven't been there either, but that's okay. We stil love ya, Oak!

Halima

The reason why I can’t ever fully sympathise with Cressida is because of the way she treated Penelope. Yes, the marriage mart does put women against each other, but Penelope was never anyone’s competition, and certainly not Cressida’s. She attracted no notice from any of the men or even had any friends outside of Colin (and later Eloise when she debuted). And still, Cressida had to punch down and humiliate Penelope. An apology is owed from her.

shaloom

cant wait to see yall reaction to season 4 #bestseason🩵

Childless Bambino

agreed. But also they played fast and loose with the real history

Taylor144

Francesca’s story is not anywhere near close to being done. That’s for sure lol

Arudorin

What I'm disappointed is that Daphne and Simon weren't in this season. At the very least, Daphne, being their sister, should have made an appearance. They should have given an explanation for why they missed Colin and Penelope's wedding. For Anthony and Kate, at least they provided an excuse by saying they would be visiting India, which implies they won't be in Season 4 (I assume, as I haven't watched it yet).

Jennie

Guys the part where Francesca kisses John, you may notice she makes a slight face afterwards

🌸Foof🌸

The reason the ton didn't react to Penelope outing herself as Lady W is because of the Queen's public acceptance. Penelope mentioned this herself when she was talking to Colin that right now everyone is just putting a face on but in the future that might change.

🌸Foof🌸

I also didnt care for season 4 either unfortunately 😔. I skipped so much 😅

Ari

Season 3 was my least favorite season (until season 4 came out, lol) but I still enjoyed it and it had some great moments. My rating goes: Queen Charlotte is my fave, then season 2, season 1, season 3, season 4. What I enjoyed most about this season was seeing Penelope and Lady F. rebuild their relationship, and having P. realize she doesn't have to choose b/w her writing and her marriage.

enyo96

I've been waiting to watch season 4 for the first time with you guys so I can't wait for next week!!

Colleen Scott

I wouldn’t blame them if they did not recognize her. I’ve seen HP hundreds of times and I knew she was going to be in season 4 and I still didn’t really recognize her. They make her look so severe and her acting was so well done. When she did interviews for Bridgerton she was easily recognizable with her hair down and her real accent.

Lysa

Season 4 is so good omg I can't wait for next week's reactions! 🩵

Chrissy

The queen knowing that Whistledown is a Bridgerton, is still a giant plot hole for me because I don't think it makes any sense, but I'm glad that you guys enjoyed this season. It's my second favorite out of all of them. Season 4 became my favorite after I watched it.

uvytracks

So happy yall caught that little scene w Francesca! I feel like that goes over so many peoples heads

Amanda Diaz

I did as well, thankfully the new showrunner contract is up after season 5 & they go back to the original or find someone new season 4 was awful, I watched it once and haven’t rewatched it again.

Tara ✨💫

Please please consider watching Outlander when you finish S4 in this time slot. It's a great romantic period piece full of adventure and of course DRAMA!! 🙏

Kiss the Librarian

You guys initially missed Fran's look of surprised disappointment when she had her first kiss with John at their wedding. But you're onto something in the post-show discussion. This season needed to do three main things: - convincing romance with Colin and Pen - convincing reconciliation with Eloise and Pen - convincing resolution to the Pen & Lady W reveal Personally, I don't think it did all of those things very well. - I didn't feel the love between Colin and Pen; felt it more in the first half but even that half was lacking. They talk a lot about being close friends, but we never really see that. A flashback to their first meeting as kids would have been great, rather than Colin retelling the story. Some glimpses at young Pen comforting Colin grieving over his dad, and Colin comforting Pen over her family being bullies. Something to show their connection beyond just she took off her glasses (yellow dress) and she's so hot now. In the finale, Colin's speech rang hollow after his prolonged tantrums and couch naps. - Eloise's character seemed to shift with the wind for the sake of the plot. Trust needed to be earned back in her friendship with Pen. After Colin caught Pen in her lie, it was weird for Pen to immediately go to Eloise and ask her to put in a good word. I can understand Pen's desperation, but Eloise didn't deserve to be put between them and it felt like more manipulation. The wrong move for Pen who needed to just talk to Colin directly herself. Glad to see the girls back together but it feels tenuous. - I enjoyed the queen challenging Penelope in the finale to step forward, and that they were standing on a checkered dance floor like the chess board the queen previously pondered over when considering their game of cat and mouse. I liked that Pen owned up to her insecurities, jealousy of the more popular/courageous people in society, and expressed regret for harm she'd caused with some of her past writings. I liked that she vowed to be a voice for the voiceless, which is a great reason for Eloise to have faith in her again because their values are aligned on that. But there weren't any real consequences for Pen and the queen seemed to accept it very easily. So that tension fell flat, even though her speech initially gave me chills. Before people come for me, look, there's a lot to love about this season. It just didn't stick the landings for me, and I think there was time/room for it to do so. I think the new showrunner just took off in a single-minded direction with some of the messages while leaving the main story on the side lines. The endless threesome montage could have been cut for better story development, without undermining that side plot or message at all, for example. Kanthony are still my favorite. As much as I want them on screen forever (not really, lol) and didn't like them leaving for India to explain their busy schedules, I loved that Anthony wanted his baby to know their Indian heritage from birth. Really looking forward to watching season 4 with you guys!

sandrinegeller

Yay now we can get on to s4! my favorite season by far

Kiss the Librarian

@Childless Bambino I mean, of course they did. They're wearing glitter and plastic dresses lol

Keyuana Gray

I definitely agree with Dave. Francesca had the right amount of story and I think it was due to her personality. She enjoys the quite and doesn't like the spotlight so it only makes since that there was not a big fuss for her because she wouldn't like it

Violet Integration

I love season 4! Remember… every sibling is supposed to get a season. You’ll still see some progress in their story as the family is in the background, but every sibling will have their time to shine. At least that’s the plan. Season 5 & 6 have gotten the green light.

umhw77

Season 4 is fantastic! It felt like a return to form after Season 3 and I hope you guys enjoy!!

Brittany R

I agree that Season 4 was meh, even as someone who read the books long before the show. I thought Season 4 would have been for interesting if instead of it being inspired by "Cinderella" it was inspired by "Mulan" and instead of falling in love with a "maid disguised as a masked lady" he fell in love with a "maid disguised as a masked man". I feel like that would have made Benedict's bisexuality feel more narratively relevant and also given more tension to his search for "him/her".

Brittany R

All of Bridgerton plays fast and loose with real history

Brittany R

Season 3 was initially my least favorite, but it's grown on my significantly after rewatching it. During the first watch, I was so frustrated with Colin in the second half of the season that it dampened things. But there are SO many other good things in it and interesting character studies that I've ended up bumping it up. My rating goes: Queen Charlotte, Season 2, Season 3, Season 1, Season 4.

itsdivya

"eliose will return" im crying

keyt

Best season is coming!!! Season 4 next week let's gooooo!!

Chloe

Great reaction! These have been my favourite reaction videos from you guys! Cant wait for season 4! Just to say to make sure you check the post credits in the last ep of next season :)

Gail Ferguson

Oh thank goodness! I also was not enthralled with Season 4 and fast-forwarded so much!

Bee

So excited you all finished the season! A few things I appreciated about this season: (1) the show finally addressed the issues of feminism and identity it had been dancing around in prior seasons. I appreciated that the main objective of the season wasn’t “will they/won’t they” — instead is was “How will they”. Penelope grew (dare I completed her metamorphosis into a butterfly) into her complete self, tackled the marriage mart, and figured out how to maintain her identity in her marriage. A true feat - possibly the only female character to have done so in the series thus far. I think that is perhaps what the Queen enjoys about Penelope. (2) The back story with the brother I believe makes up for the poor handling of spousal rape in the Queen Charlotte series. By requiring the brother to reconcile had happened to his sister, what she was running away from, the audience has to recognize what was happening wasn’t a punchline in the prior season - but a serious matter with lasting impact. In many ways Lady Danbury never quite recovers from it. (3) Strengthening the sisterhood of Lady Violet and Lady Danbury….there scene was short, but I appreciated that the show provides to what it means to create chosen family and how older women manage - indeed seek fulfillment - through their friendships long after they cease to be just “wives and mothers”. Despite Lady Violet’s garden blooming she wouldn’t dream a moving forward while Marcus is on the outs with her dearest friend Lady Danbury.

Bee

The final ball - Emerald. Did we all catch that the priority for the season has always been the “diamond” and Penelope “comes out” with her new look in green/emerald. Then in the final ball everyone is wearing some shade a green. Then Penelope is only in Bridgerton Blue in the final few scenes post-Featherington Ball once she and Colin have some to resolution in their relationship.

Bee

Sorry Last comment… Colin’s small meltdown about how he was intimidated by Penelope’s success and him blathering on about how there is no role for him if she (a) doesn’t need him in some way and (b) if he can’t protect her (although his intervention immediately backfires horribly)…..it is a sad reality that persists today. For some reason men must be absolutely needed - if they wanted by the woman in their life it is somehow a problem. It remains among the most baffling aspects of the male psyche. Like Nick Cannon leaving Mariah Carey because he couldn’t handle her success or just a work class dudes who don’t want their wives to make more money than them! I know it’s a book, but I’m glad Colin got out his own way and apologized. I appreciate the focus on Penelope it would be nice if more folks walked away with an understanding of Colin’s rapid maturity. He traveled and returned a dashing bachelor. But even his ambush proposal to Penelope was ridiculous. He disrupted her proposal, ambushed her sexually in the carriage…immediately proposed and then told his entire family in a matter of mintues! Without much input from Penelope. Then after a rush engagement somehow had the nerve to feel as though she lied to him…when he rather just assumed he already knew everything about her and never needed to ask. I would say he finally matures when he bothers to take the time to look at her and listen to her.

Amanda Diaz

Colins speech at the end to Penelope makes me cry, just so beautiful. Its not so much a spoiler but in the books Michaela was actual Michael, he was Johns cousin. But the show runner decided to change the gender, in which people were not happy about.

I🖤Kraken

The one person Penelope never begs forgiveness is to that nameless modiste competitor of Madame Delacroix. That poor lady probably got run out of business because Penelope wrote that she wasn't competent and Penelope was just mad at Cressida!

Luna

w/o giving away any spoilers. EVERY Bridgerton gets their own individual season/book. EVERY. ONE.

Tara ✨💫

Jonathan Bailey wasn't in every episode this season because he was in Canada filming the LGBTQ+ limited series Fellow Travellers while he was also preparing for Wicked. He flew back to London to film his Bridgerton episodes. Yes, that is why they wrote that Anthony and Kate went to India. I love that he can play a gay leading man or a straight leading man. He said that he'd love to come back for the rest of the siblings' stories. He also said in an interview that for the rest of his life, he will always be an older brother to all the Bridgerton siblings. I adore him so much. I don't care that he's gay, he is my celebrity crush 🥰

Jojo Hart

Wait, so was season 4 just “meh” or was it “awful”? Because those are 2 very different things. To me, season 4 was the best season while I never rewatched Season 3 ever again because I thought the show runner ruined that one. Many people favored season 4 as well and there are comments here that agree, so it doesn’t seem very fair to go on dragging the season before they even watch it.

Miss Freaky

I got you Diamond Dave - party on Garth!! 😝

Meurydice

Kate: “We all have secrets” Quinn: “Some” 🤣🤣

gen

I think this will just differ based on everyone’s taste. For me season 3 is the second weakest season, because the absolutely worst for me is still season 1. Season 2 is my favorite followed by Queen Charlotte and then maybe season 4. I had so many issues with season 3 lol

Manny D.

I think this is spoilers…but apparently it’s been said multiple times in comments so too late now

Manny D.

I second this!!

Ellie

Not me literally eating vanilla ice cream while watching the episode 😅 Dave's comment was well-timed haha. I can't wait for the season 4 reactions!!

Kiss the Librarian

It felt diminutive for Danbury to hold a grudge against a 10 yr old, instead of the grown as man (their father) who actually sold her into a life of marital rape. She's too smart for that. I could see her being quietly distrustful of Marcus while understanding he was young, but they had her put her whole ass into the grudge like he was entirely responsible. IMHO, it served the plot more than it "made up for" the mishandling in QC or honored her as a character.

Bee

Agreed. I think her extreme anger at the brother was forced - it felt like an attempt by writer’s address something they were called out for not properly addressing in Queen Charlotte.

Bee

She lied to everyone…but his response was like ‘you betrayed our love’ was a bit much for me. She went from neighbor to engaged in the span of a carriage ride and the next morning they had sex. The relationship was 24hrs in at that poimt. Colin loves to rush an engagement…they didn’t talk about anything before the engagement. He just decided there was nothing more to know. I was exasperated…maybe have deep conversations with the woman you’re marrrying. Even when she was blackmailed he didn’t want hear her thoughts. So she held back a secret she had for years - she needs to own that. But my guy…shut up and listen to her! You might learn something. I’m just saying..he could have recognized he wasn’t a good listener.

umhw77

I can’t wait for next week!!

AllyBoo124

You guys touched on it, but yes Marcus was ten years old but lady d was betrothed to lord Danbury at age like four or something? And she was raised to be his wife her entire life and everything about him was taught to her from that age. They forced her to grow up faster and get prepared for her responsibilities, so she probably was like if I had to be so aware of my reality at ten years old why weren’t you aware of what was going on when you were?

Bri

Don't give too much away, they read these comments.

Bri

I don't think Simon's actor is ever coming back. I think this has kept them from returning Daphne too because they'd have to keep making up reasons why Simon isn't with her.

Bri

To answer your question DD, I personally enjoyed this season! For me, I have continously felt like every season just gets better and better, and season 1 was already good. I do say this as someone who hasn't read the books yet, so I've had no expectations. Speaking of, be careful guys. Some of the book readers online are very open about what happens in the books. When this episode aired I went to twitter afterwards to see what people were saying about it and found out a massive spoiler. I urge people on here as well not to give any hints or even allude to any spoilers and to just let people speculate. There are other patrons here taking the ride for the 1st time with the guys and some of y'all are already talking about the next season's plot.

Luna

It's not spoilers. They know every sibling gets their own season. I was just reminding them

Kristin

Especially happy they connected it to what Violet said about not even being able to say her name when she met their dad. Small detail (but clear sign) that a lot of people miss so I was happy they mentioned that a few times

Vjorkie

Early reminder don't miss the post ending credit scene for the finale of season 4🚨🚨🚨

Delphine

what an odd thing to say

Nina

I love the humor and fights of Season 2, but Season 4 has my favorite romance. I can't wait for your reaction to the villain and one delicious surprise that I won't spoil. Francesca's arc is tricky because how we meet Lord Kilmartin is very different in the series than in the books.

Halima

@Joanna some people think it was meh, some think it was awful. I personally thought it was just really boring after the first episode and haven’t had any desire to rewatch it since. It was the first Bridgerton season where I felt the urge to put it in 2x speed. Everyone has different tastes I guess

Mika

Yayyy, you'll love season 4, my favorite so far

slavicandsapphic

They said at the VERY beginning it wasnt meant to be a one to one retelling and that creative liberties were taken brother

Carley

Season 4 is by far my favorite season, so I cannot wait for next season!! 🤞🙌

Leisha

Cressida hasn't said anything that bad also Penelope has done more damage to the bridgertons than Cressida has. That's why this season is the last on my list of Bridgerton season. Also, because it felt like their love was forced, this is def the weakest season

r

I certainly dont like the directions they took with revealing Whistledown to everyone, and not to spoil but my opinion on it stands in season 4 too lol. Cant wait to see you guys in Benedict's season!

Miya

Same! I remember seeing it for the first time and being like "hold up" 👀

Miya

Penelope's character arc is one of my favorites so far in the series. People hate on this season so much and while there are some things I'm not a fan of, that's the case in literally every season. I still find Season 1 to be the weakest (which is fine since it was laying the foundation for the series). Anyway! I also loved the conversation between Tilley and Benedict. This show has so much back-and-forth, uncommunicative couples that it felt like a breath of fresh air to have two emotionally mature adults speak frankly about how they feel and what they want out of the relationship. Very respectful and well done. On a more trivial note: I LOVE Penelope's costuming this season. Every single gown she wears is just so beautiful. I'm still so thrilled you guys are enjoying this show and delivering such stellar reactions. On to Season 4!

Dramaling

It was fun watching this season again with you! When it came out, I didn't enjoy it and finished it in like 3 hours by fast-forwarding a lot of scenes. Watching it again, I do think that it may have the best (or some of the best) subplots of seasons 1-4. I still think they didn't write Polin well and that the Whistledown reveal was too anticlimatic, but Cressida, the Featherington sisters and their husbands, Francesca and Kilmartin, Lady D and her brother... there's just a lot of cool stuff in here. Moral of the story: it's always interesting to have a second look! Looking forward to S4!

Victoria E (vickster5001)

Exactly. It's the same reason, in the immediate moment, the people shut up about Anthony's aborted wedding - the Queen shuts it down and in that moment they all fall in line.

Victoria E (vickster5001)

A return to form? These guys enjoyed s3 and have said so throughout these reactions. I imagine they will continue to enjoy the series.

Victoria E (vickster5001)

Exactly! She had a crappy life, but she chose to delight in bullying someone she viewed as wore off. Cressida may have learnt this from her bad mother role model, but she still enjoyed it.

Victoria E (vickster5001)

Cressida wrote lies that called into question the legitimacy of some of the family, thereby also suggesting Violet was unfaithful. That is far worse than anything Pen said about the Bridgertons. She said Eloise was seen with political radicals (i.e. at the town hall meeting), but not that she was alone with a lower class man. She said Colin wasn't the father of Marina's out of marriage pregnancy, which he wasn't and saved him from that societal perception, which would've ruined the family. Yes, her starting LW led to the diamond debate and therefore interest in Daphne from Berbrooke, but the column revealed his behaviour, saving Daphne from him. Has she said things that will have angered many, sure, but she hasn't harmed the Bridgertons more than Cressida / Cressida's mother tried to out of spite.

Victoria E (vickster5001)

Great reactions to another season guys! I do love how much you really discuss the themes and emotions in this show; far more than many fans bother to do! I think each season of this series has its strengths and weaknesses and even if you have a favourite, there's no need to trash the others, which this fandom loves to do. Queen Charlotte is a gorgeous series. Out of the Bridgerton seasons, this remains my favourite, as for me it's the most romantic. I love the growing relationship of Colin and Pen through s1 and s2 through how much they both grow up in this season. I love Colin's lightbulb understanding of his feelings and how he is brave enough to ask and follow his heart. I love the tentativeness of them both in becoming intimate, but also how they laugh and are so at ease together. I love that although it's not all perfect on the wedding day, they both know they love the other person and enjoy the happiness of that until the Queen brings back all his worries. I love how he isn't intimate with her when he's still angry and I love his final speech. A man proud of your success? Priceless. Luke and Nicola really are fantastic together. I also love how much s3 focusses on women through both Pen's arc in finding her confidence and her happiness and the side plots that back that up – women’s role in society; in the home; in a marriage; mothers & daughters; sisters; female friendships of any age. It's all really well done. There’s also still great sibling/family scenes in s3, albeit less than 1 and 2 through Benedict/Eloise; Eloise/Colin; ABC; Kate advising Colin and Eloise; Violet with Colin & Fran and even with limited screen time, Anthony and Kate have a couple plot point together, as well as being involved individually with other family members. The Ton's initial response to the LW reveal does feel a bit anti-climatic and could have been handled better, but the Queen sets the immediate tone of response and everyone has to fall in line. Same way they all shut up speculating about Anthony's cancelled wedding to Edwina because the Queen shuts it down. I wish they’d have perhaps had someone try and say something and the Queen basically say be quiet (as she does in s2’s finale). Instead, it’s Pen’s sister and her butterflies that are left to defuse the tension. I love Luke Newton in this season and he doesn't get enough credit for the work he does. He can tell a story with just his eyes, which not all actors can do and I wish they'd had a moment in ep 1 of him alone, sighing or looking exhausted from putting on his rake act, seeing as so many miss it's an act. I also do think there isn't enough attention on Colin individually, in the back half in particular - we needed more of his emotional journey post LW reveal, which is where longer episodes would've been great. s4 has a hour extra episode of content across the extended episode run times. All the seasons needed that. A flashback of something with him needing to always be the hero etc, or another chat with his mother - show us that s8 chat they went to have. All we really have is Kate's great moment talking to him about his own emotions. I do also wish we'd had more Polin scenes with longer episodes, but that being said, I love what we did get and I think the season flows really well and always leaves me smiling.

Victoria E (vickster5001)

I agree dragging any season before they watch it is unfair to do, but it's fascinating that the only time in these comments of this show where doing so is criticised is when it's not someone doing it to s3. Every s3 piece of content has people saying it's awful compared to 4, yet this is probably the first time i've seen it the other way. And now that behaviour is unfair? Some balance would be nice. If it's wrong for one, it's wrong for all of them.

Mina E.D

Idk, accusing someone of paternity fraud is pretty vile. Its pretty bad

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

“Be careful, Benedict. That one’s coming for your neck.” — All your jokes about the guy who looks like a vampire cracked me up, but you have a point! I didn’t notice it when I watched the show by myself, but this actor would be great in Interview with the Vampire.

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

I was shocked that you were shocked by Penelope’s public reveal at her sisters’ ball! And your confused faces during Michaela and Francesca’s first meeting were hilarious! “We’ve all been here,” I must say 😂😂😂 And I love how during the final episode DD covered MQ’s eyes with his hand every time Penelope and Colin had an intimate scene! That was hilarious 🤣

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

Rewatching this season with you, it’s really growing on me thanks to your reactions! I didn’t fully appreciate on my first watch that this season was more about Penelope’s personal and professional growth, and not just about finally winning the reciprocated love of the friend she had been in love with for years. This season showed that romantic love is not the only thing that can have great importance in a woman’s life. The message is simple: you need to love and accept yourself completely before entering a relationship and loving others. And I’m so happy that Colin managed to overcome his insecurity as a man in a relationship with a more “successful” woman. Sometimes simply being there for someone is enough, and I think these two beautifully demonstrate that. And I’m glad you picked up on much more in Francesca’s introduction to her husband’s cousin than many viewers did! Great job 👏👏👏 P.S. When you finish season 4, I’d love to know which season is each of your favorites! I hope you discuss it then 🤞🏻

Lucinda Michel

DD brought up some valid points about Cressida and her attempt at a character arc that she hadn’t procured a marriage. I think it’s worthy to note that Daphne ruined Cressida’s chances with the Prince in Season One; Lady Featherington ruined her chances with Cousin Jack in Season Two; and Penelope ruined her chances with Lord Debling in Season Three. No wonder she’s awful.

Emily Blackie

You all had better hurry up with season 4 because I cannot wait to scream and wait along side with you guys!!! It's bananas!!!

Marie RammGirl

Quinn & DD looking VERY snazzy in their fancy, frilly shirts in eps 7 ;) (also liked Quinn's "Control yourself Violet & the growls/looks too hehe) Oak's comment at 1:25:53 & Quinn/DD's looks was so funny to see/listen to 🤭 as was all of your reactions to Anthony's "Not Them" line 😂 The looks on people's faces when they received not 1 but 2 Whistledown issues, all through eps 7 I was hoping that Eloise/Colin would find it in their hearts to forgive Penelope & we got our wish in finale, what little sympathy had for Cressida went out the window in eps 8, tata "Miss Swoony!" Your banter about Tilley/Paul being Vampires during their 'Party Scene' with Benedict was too funny. Alot of communication by our characters in the finale, nice to see some heartwarming moments between Lady Danbury/Violet & between Penelope & her Mother. I'm conflicted on the big reveal of Lady Whistledown to the Ton, was not expecting everyone to find out & be fine/accepting of it, not sure with the mystery of who gone, will it still be as exciting for us viewers & people reading? will they act differently around Penelope? but admit our hearts swelled at her sweet speech over it, I guess we shall see how my doubts are quelled & how it all unfolds in Season 4.

Ailene Evangelista

I love this season. It really resonated with me on a personal level. I do wish we would have gotten more focus on Colin, being he IS the Bridgeton, BUT Pen and Lady Whistledown is such a big aspect of the show, i can understand why he took on a more supporting role here. I think my favorite aspect of this season for me, besides Polin, was seeing how they utilized the Featheringtons. I didn't enjoy the side plot with them in s2, but it was a lot of fun in this season. The relationship developement between the sisters and Pen's mom really warmed my heart, and I was happy with how they resolved the conflict between them. That was really well done imo. But I'm glad y'all enjoyed this season. It's been a polarizing one but I figured you guys would enjoy it because you like Pen and were rooting for Polin. Also, this one remains my favorite for rewatching. Carriage scene supremacy....<3 See you next season!

Kat Bee

This reaction has me sat. I mean I was going to be sat for season 4 regardless as its my favorite and I think it's the best one they have done. Season 3 was low ranked but I loved seeing how much you guys enjoyed it.

Jojo Hart

Then it’s wrong for all of them. What makes it unfair is people jumping right away to state their opinion that season 4 is the worst before they even see it. If that’s your opinion, fine, but keep it to yourself and let them be the judge of which season they like and not push personal bias onto them. So if comments are going to come in here saying they think S4 is the worst, then people shouldn’t be surprised when they respond disagreeing.

Jojo Hart

That’s an understatement because I couldn’t disagree more but it’s not on me to convince you it’s good just like I can’t be convinced that the show runner didn’t ruin S3 and could have made it much better.

Amanda Diaz

You’re literally only speaking because season 4 is your favorite season which is fine. Everybody has their favorite season. People were literally bashing season 3 before they seen it. Some even said they were skipping it all together. It’s okay because everybody has their preference. I can’t speak for others but I’ll watch season 4 with them just because there were moments I did enjoy but over all it’s not in my top 3. 🤷‍♀️

Shanice British

I love oak’s loyalty to season 2 because it’s also my favorite. I’m not a Penelope fan so I skipped this season but I’m glad yall enjoyed it. I’m excited to watch season 4 with you guys because I still haven’t watched it either but at least I like who the season is about so I’m happy about that

Miya

@Victoria E I was thinking the same thing. People also say which season they like best before they react. I think it’s all fine as long as we don’t get into spoilers.

Alexandra

Soooo every season is based on a book, and every book is on a bridgerton sibling. That is to say, this season was not Francesca's season even though her romance is heavily featured

Nat 🌸

I'm super late by commenting this, but without any spoilers, Francesca's season hasn't happened yet. Her story in s3 and s4 are more "side" storylines rather than the overarching love stoy. Each Bridgerton sibling gets their own season with their love story :)

Mon

The reason the season finale's rating for s3 was so low is bc it was review bombed by the homophobes that wanted Michael Sterling instead of Michaela Sterling. You shouldve seen the losers how they were in twitter.

I'm curious to how the YT family will react to him not noticing Trinity in Jessica Jones. Especially with all the remarks to MQ not getting actors names right.

Kayla

for me it took a moment, because I did not realize she was old enough to play someone's mother already. Had to search the actress's age up to double check

Kayla

Agree on knowing Lady Whistledown's true identity losses the mystery. It is like the impossible task in John Wick or the guy behind the fence in Home Improvement, it makes those things more fun and having mystery makes the world still feel big. Going to be interesting seeing your guys reaction to season 4.

Pen got off too easy, Colin is just...., Eloise is a terrible friend and Cressida has done nothing wrong 😤
