S Kim

Yay was just about to eat dinner. Perfect timing! I’m assuming you guys are starting Crash Landing on You after this. Can’t wait! Thanks for the awesome reactions guys :)

Zobia Shaikh

Sad this has come to an end but I loved watching your reactions! For your review for ep. 15, in earlier episodes I do believe there was a convo between the dad and Seon-yeong where the dad was kinda willing to use his daughter to bring down Soomi and that's why Woo Young-Woo was given a job

ParkMinJeon

Oh we’ll definitely get that in season 2 for sure , and I can’t wait

Chloe

I love this show and the characters so much. I think it was handled brilliantly. Not perfect, but pretty close. There were a few uncomfortable moments and episodes. But I’d gladly sit through them for this overall accurate and honest representation. I have been watching Badd Medicine reactions since the pandemic, and you guys have been consistent, open and honest about your opinions and willing to watch shows you wouldn’t have normally known about. I watched one or two soap opera like k-dramas over ten years ago. And Squid Game pulled me back in. And I’ve watched 5 k-dramas for the first time on your channel. Thanks for such high quality content fellas!

WOLVERINE

@baddmedicine where is daredevil?

WOLVERINE

Ian read that lol if I did I wouldn’t have asked where it was also, it’s Saturday where I am. I appreciate the info though

(comments for eps 14) "What case? we're trying to find noodles here" "Are they flying directly into the sun?" haha wit of Quinn 😂LOVED seeing all the effort they went into for the "Noodles Mission" & it was all worth it with that heartwarming ending scene. The Woo/Jun-Ho break up in eps 14 we was all shouting "nooo tell him why!" & it took Kwon THIS LONG to realise something we viewers have known ALL ALONG about her feelings for him, sure they started out as rivals but ya could tell the chemistry straight away, liked your reactions to Geurami being taken away when talking to Kwon hehe. (I did my fare share of Karakoe in pubs in front of crowds with friends back in the day, was fun) :) (comments for eps 15) They did a good job of REALLY making you despise the replacement Attorney Seung-Jun with his treatment towards his staff, especially Woo & yea agree the wording used about how Woo was hired did seem shockingly strange with Woo's Father there, but who else (watching for 1st time) sat opened mouthed at that BIG reveal at the end of eps 15? (comments for eps 16) good to see a redemption arc out of Kwon & Attorney Jung's health issues/Marriage resolved, I was thinking "Euphoria" for how Woo was feeling before she told us what it was, the way music was sued in this show REALLY captured the tone/atmosphere in a scene & what emotion they wanted to evoke in viewers (Liked Quinn's 'Recognise' face & Piano Playing hehe) liked all 3 of your reactions of Woo waking away after she got back together with Jun-Ho & with the wonderful way it ended, does it need a 2nd season? as I too am wondering if it will still have same impact as this season was so beautifully done with the heavy stuff aswell as the comedic moments, but I will still enjoy watching a new season of it with you guys ❤️

It’s so interesting to me how Netflix decided to translate the interaction at 9:36 for 1x15 — they really didn’t capture it accurately at all lmao. Netflix’s subs have Jang say, “Incredible! We’re alumni!” but what he ACTUALLY says is, “Hyung! Ah—sunbaenim.” He jumped to calling the client a more informal way of saying “big brother/older peer” (hyung) and then corrected himself and used the more formal, gender neutral term for older peer (sunbaenim). It’s a moment I honestly think Netflix should’ve just bit the bullet and translated with those terms being used (and included them throughout the rest of the show’s subtitles to help establish the context of it) because it goes from being a moment where Jang briefly sticks his foot in his mouth and manages to play it off, to him just saying, “Incredible!” Also when the client calls Minwoo a “youngster,” the actual word he uses is “aegi” which means “baby” which is why Sooyeon laughed😂

I had such a great time rewatching this show with you guys! Love the reaction! As for the updates on Season 2: I looked up the articles and it seems the production team keeps pushing for it and the scripts are being written. But I also saw several interviews where the lead actress mentioned she's not fully convinced about reprising her role. The broadcaster doesn't seem too keen on it either... so it's safe to say it's not officially greenlit yet.

Midnight Lion

I really love they way they wrote Sanghyeon as also being autistic, just with lower support needs than Youngwoo. I think it does such a good job of showcasing how some autistic people get overlooked when it comes to getting diagnosed because people look at them and only see “gifted” or “nerdy” or “weird.” Saying this as a lower support needs autistic woman who didn’t learn she was autistic until adulthood and grew up being calling weird and annoying but also “gifted.” I see a lot of myself in both Youngwoo and Sanghyeon, in different way.

Mari

Dad and Hanbada CEO already had that conversation. He did said he will allow the CEO to use her only just once so she can work in Hanbada, and it was in that earlier episode when Dad went to the office and was seen by Gabe.

Harlee

On the translation I watched her new feeling was "contentment" I was hoping that would come up for Oak. I think the word she used is the combination of accomplishment AND fulfilment (someone will let us know for sure)

YeMuMu

It’s only right that the next show is Itaewon Class

Ep 14 notes: “Am I someone who makes Jun-ho equally as happy as he makes me? Won’t I just make him lonely in the end?” — those lines during her phone conversation with her dad made me shed a tear 🥲 And the breakup scene after that always makes me really sad 😢 Poor Jun-ho… when Young-woo started talking about the case and didn’t take his feelings into consideration, that was rough. So I totally related to Oak’s “Oh, no” at 32:17! I was also impressed, just like Oak, by how Answer copied the music effects at 45:17! That was really great! About post-discussion: I get what Oak said about the breakup scene, but I think Jun-ho’s reaction was valid even if he knows that she processes things differently. Expecting him to talk to her in a purely logical way in that exact moment is quite unrealistic and asks too much of him, because Jun-ho is a human being, not a robot. So of course his first reaction would be emotional! He didn’t go too far or act disrespectfully.

Childless Bambino

3 episodes is awesome! I had no idea about a second season! 4.5/5 for me. The acting was first rate!

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

Ep 16 notes: Answer randomly hitting the gavel right at the beginning completely cracked me up 😂 18:23 — “You know what? I know I’ve loved Gabe all along.” — Don’t pretend you weren’t his biggest hater, Answer! But okay 😜 And when Kwon smiled at Young-woo at 1:15:16, I loved how hyped Answer was: “He cracked a smile!” “That analogy with the cat that you just made doesn’t apply. Because it’s true that a cat can love you back too.” — That was such a sweet confession 🥺🥺🥺 I was so glad they decided to get back together! And Young-woo’s speech: “My life is unusual and peculiar, but it has value. It’s a beautiful life.” — was really meaningful and touching! I love how you kept trying to guess what emotion Young-woo was feeling but couldn’t quite describe it! “Accomplishment” was a very fitting answer by the end, considering everything her character went through.

Honestly, the thing I looked forward to the most every week was seeing whether Oak’s opinion on the main couple’s relationship would change or not. So hearing that he thought the show handled this aspect very well was a huge relief and joy for me! And I also liked how Mason Quinn emphasized that the show highlighted uncomfortable things to watch, but that they were important to see. I was especially curious to see your ratings at the end of the reaction, and I was pleasantly surprised that Oak, despite his mixed feelings and concerns regarding the romance line, gave the show a 4.9, while the lowest score unexpectedly came from Mason Quinn. By the way, regarding the comment about the show having 16 episodes — that’s actually the traditional format for Korean dramas. The 8-episode format became more common later with Netflix’s production. Of course, every story is different: sometimes 8 episodes are enough, sometimes 16 are needed, and sometimes even 24 episodes can feel too short. Personally, I think 8 episodes would have been far too few for this story. Maybe I would have removed one or two court cases, but overall I’m very satisfied with the pacing of both the heroine’s personal growth and her professional life. For me it’s a solid 4.5!

Y’all please watch “Teach You a Lesson” on Netflix! As a teacher, I can honestly say this series hits every single issue going on with public education today. Anyone who has worked within the school system can relate, and people who haven’t, it’s quite an eye-opener.

Ryan Towell

Now that this season is wrapped up, while waiting for S2, I highly recommend you watch "The Kng's Affection" starring Park Eun-bin (Woo). It's only one season but really good show. And you get to see a completely different side of her acting. And the whole support cast is great too. I think you all will really like it. It's action, drama, some comedy. It's got a bit of everything.

Bekka NoyB

Absolutely ♥ this series! Really hoping for a second season! Definitely written as a one off, but think there's plenty of room for further development, especially with good writing which the show has in spades!

Lindsay

I know it’s been a while since you finished this show, but if you like Park Eun-Bin (Woo Young-Woo), I want to recommend The King’s Affection. It’s not one of the most popular kdramas, but it’s been my favorite since it came out, and she is the lead in it as well!
