Loved this and saw your old reaction back then as well, so glad this finally was released!

The video games make better MK movies since MK9

Mintteacup

We gotta get a gaming stream of y'all fighting each other in Mortal Kombat

One is a much better movie than the other😂 that dude was probably rolling his eyes on set.

I feel sad when Diamond Dave doesn't do the "FYYYYYVVEEE" at the start

I'm Batman

This was infinitely better than the 2021 movie in my opinion. It's everything I wanted within a Mortal Kombat movie. Tbh, that first one I wasn't too much of a fan of Cole, just felt odd to have the story follow a non character within the games. I didn't mind him here because this was more of a Johnny Cage movie. Loved Shao Kahn here, felt like a real threat and I was kinda surprised on how many people we ended up losing, especially Liu Kang, that one was the most surprising to me. I get he dies in the games (if I remember correctly he is playable as a zombie in one of the games) but to lose him this soon was surprising nonetheless and I love that. Baraka was probably my favorite within the secondary characters and the movie having my personal favorite character Quan-Chi is absolutely awesome. The only nitpick I have with this movie is how easy it was to just jump sides and the elder gods accepting it in the end, just a bit off putting for me. Other than that this was such a blast and I love damn near everything about it, the sets, the scores, the performances, the fatalities, giving this one a 4.5/5.

Lewis Tan needs to come back to the franchise in a different role. He's too talented an actor and martial artist to not be used again. This was loads better than the first. After seeing some behind the scenes and interviews with a few actors (specifically Kung Lao's actor), I understand why the first was as crap as it was. Hopefully they keep on this path and we get an even better third movie.

I remember Mortal Kombat being your 1st ever movie reaction, was fun watching when you was growing your channel & nice seeing how much success you've had with it from all your hard work & amazing community you have, so it felt extra special & an absolute joy watching this sequel with you great guys, much love to you Best Badd Medicine ❤️💚💙💗 Agree Oak about headbands, everyone should wear one, Blue for Quinn, Green for Answer, Black for DD, Red for Oak hehe. I played Mortal Kombat games on Sega Genesis (called Mega Drive in UK) felt like you had to have dozens of fingers to get the button combos for fatalities right, so it was cool seeing them here, the visuals for their powers was impressive, the blue swirly atmosphere during Kang Lao/Liu Knag fight was mesmerising, all the other fights were epic too, Karl Urban smashed it as Johnny Cage, you could see little traits of 'Butcher' in there, liked all the film references, I know Cage Character is American, but who else was secretly wishing to hear his Butcher accent hehe, Kano's dialogue was witty too & cool seeing Hiroyuki Sanada/Tati Gabrielle in roles again (recognise them from John Wick/The 100) liked Quinn/Oak's reactions to Answer's MK knowledge & Quinn's Baraka Impression hehe, I too had a cheeky smile over "Wristy" line ;) wasn't expecting to see a "M'Lady' or Joffrey poses but so glad we did & Oak "Jeans, White Shirt, Motorcycle Jacket, Good Fashion Sense" ooooh hmmm...I **Wonder** who you're referencing there teehee ;) also glad we got the iconic line from Scorpion & classic MK theme during the closing credits too! \m/ the first one was alright, but I really enjoyed this sequel more, they did an excellent job adapting it for us gamer fans & hope we get a 3rd movie too!.

Mister Lou

🖕😎 Showtime! Love this movie! Glad Kanos came back and brought back the funny. Love that Karl Urban did the LOTR joke, so meta! 👌

Tania R

Thank you for playing the Mortal Kombat theme at the end! 🎶 That instantly took me back to being a tiny tot sitting on my older cousin's lap while they played. "Fight!" and "Finish Him!" are forever etched in my brain! Andrew, I had no idea there were comics with all the backstories - that was awesome to learn. MORTAL KOMBAT! ⚔️

hex1c

Man, this movie sucked balls.. The first one was waaaaay better.

Joey Patterson

Im glad they killed Cole. He was the reason I didn't like the first one. You do not make a mortal kombat movie and make some dull original character, that is a temu black panther, and try to make him the main character. There are so many mortal kombat characters they could have made the main, but they chose to create cole.

Violet833

Judging by the end he's going to get resurrected.
