RIP to Sir Grenn The Giant Slayer,as well as Pyp,Igrid and everyone else. Such a incredible episode and one of the best of the entire show. So many great moments. Things really kick off from here and it just gets better and better in season 5. Cannot wait for next week. And the Brienne/Hound fight is one of my favorites in the series.

So a fun fact about the guy who played the giant that Grenn and the others hold off in the tunnel in 4x9: he was played by Neil Fingleton, who was a 7-foot-7 guy who was a McDonald's All-American in high school (he was English, but came to the US to play basketball) and played at North Carolina (for one year; he wasn't actually very good, he was just enormous) before transferring to finish his college hoops career at Holy Cross. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 36 in 2017.

Shae’s betrayal was terrible, but I’ve always thought about it from her perspective: what power did she really have? I don’t think she was playing Tyrion the entire time. She was genuinely hurt that he tried to send her away and wouldn’t publicly claim her, and she repeatedly (naively) argued that she wanted to stay by his side in King’s Landing. Once her identity was exposed, she fell back on the survival instincts that had kept her alive. Tywin was never going to make Shae a true partner or give her real power, so I don’t see her relationship with him as a calculated attempt to rise; her “my lion” at the end makes it messy for sure, but underlines the tragedy that Tyrion’s love was real while the realities of his family, status, and all else made that love almost impossible to sustain.

1 of many epic battles in GOT, but this one wasn't all blood/violence, some touching moments of our fallen characters, Jon/Ygritte had their own version of a 'Romeo/Juilet' story of 'Forbidden Love', Ironic that Ygritte's last words were her famous line. That Giant running towards the night's watch as they were saying their vows gives chills everytime I see it. Answer trying to convince Quinn of a new BM challenge involving heights during the battle & MQ like " NOPE" was amusing. 🤭 The methods Castle Black used to defend The Wall were simple, but very effective & having Jon Snow in charge was what lead them to victory even if the others don't want to admit it. The was a powerful scene between Arya/Hound, even though he hasn't been the best person to others, we saw a rare vulnerable side to him that we thought we'd never see, you could tell he was only saying that stuff to antagonise her to boiling point for a swift demise, but she thought it'd be more punishment to let him suffer a long, painful one to cross off her 'list of vengeance'. Speaking of revenge, that scene between Tyrion/Shae, no words, just expression on their faces says it all, you could feel the betrayal & his heart break as he did the deed, you could also say he "Flushed Out" his Father too. "Sailing all the way to Season 5" always enjoy that wit of Quinn hehe. 😄

Love the Hound and Brienne fight. Probably my favorite in terms of 1 on 1's. The only thing that I find annoying is all the cutting the camera takes, it was like watching a Jason Bourne fight lol (don't come at me y'all, I LOVE the Bourne movies). RIP to Pyp and Grenn, started out as potential antagonists to Jon in season 1 to end up being Jon's brothers (not just by oath). And man, I hate watching the Ygritte death and Jon burni g her body. Always has me crying, they were my absolute favorite and in some ways had a Romeo and Juliet kinda love story. Can't wait for next season, has one of my top favorites of the series (5x08).
