Laurica

the deanallie reveal ugh so iconic😭😭😭😭 get ready for A+++++ chemistry

Emily G

I would love to see a reaction to the show Outlander! Even just a couple season trial. I hope you guys will consider it! 🤞

C. J. Ramirez

Garret was so close to fighting his dad or at least I wanted him too but Hannah knew he had to get away from the situation

Idk if it’s an inside joke between them on a lv I don’t know about 😄 but as I’ve perceived it after seeing it many many times for a long while now lol it has to do with Oak possibly having lived life a bit more ( or so it at least often seem when comparing what they say, they’re experiences are from real life 😄) in comparison to especially Mason and maybe Dave too. So when Oak long time ago mentioned something about “we’ve all been there” about some specific situation that happened in a show, then the others pointed out that they hadn’t - and from there on out the “some” began being a reply I think. Now every time is happens I always think of Mason maybe having married his high school sweetheart while Oak’s been out living life, dating as an adult and gathering some various experiences through out his life 😄

Z

It’s just a saying about how everyone’s been there, as in had the same experiences but that’s the joke also, as not everyone has been there, so they say “some” in response. The joke works when one says everyone’s been there but the scenario is “So”specific, that not “everyone has been there”, so the others respond with “some” which adds to the joke and makes it more funny. Like, “everyone’s has seen a ufo” ( which isn’t true) and then they say “some” to make it more realistic but also adds more comedy, to something already comedic. Like we know not everyone has seen a ufo but it’s funny when one says everyone has and even funnier when the statement gets corrected.

Garret's father is an abuser who is actively harming someone (again), he should be in jail. He's past the point of working through his issues by doing therapy (I believe in rehabilitation, but that's after he faces consequences and accountability for what he did). Eta - I'm watching this show with them - and now I'm just angry because I also thought it would be just fun like Oak mentioned. Very surprised (not in a bad way)

Mari Vaz

Thank you Answer for the PSA about the turkey lol I had no idea americans deep fry intire turkies on Thanksgiving!

lily

it’s uploaded but not in the collection

Kiss the Librarian

It started with their Bridgerton reactions (season 2 I think), when Oak would connect personal experience/try to sympathize with the dramatic romantic struggles of the characters by saying, "We've all been there," and the others would disagree saying, "Some of us have."

Alinta_Energy

Proud Aussie moment watching Answer totally vibe along to G Flip! 🎶

Mari Vaz

I thing he felt like a little boy again, too weak to change what was happening and scared and angry. Hannah did therapy so - in my interpretation so far - she still get flashbacks of her abuser, but she knows how to calm herself down and she's nice to herself (when she said earlier it doesnt define her and it wasnt her fault) Garrett looks like he doesn't know how to deal with his feelings and will explode

Kiss the Librarian

It's cathartic to see healthy communication and romance in a show that tackles heavy, complex issues with respect. Never tried to deep fry a turkey, but definitely started a grease fire in my 20s after smoking a joint and trying to bake peanut butter cookies. Was trying to treat myself after a long night of pre-med studies. The flour to fat ratio was way off, dough melted over the tray and burned 12" tall grease fire flames in my oven. As I looked through the oven window at the raging orange light and said "Oh shit," my roommate tried to open the oven right in front of my face so she could throw water on it. Thankfully, I pushed and kept the door closed, couldn't quite explain to her the physics problem through my haze, kept blurting out the movie "Backdraft!", and insisted we call 911 since we didn't have a fire extinguisher. She mocked me relentlessly, but hey, I kept my face and didn't burn down the building. The firefighters, who were all super hot, gave me shit, said it would "go on my permanent record." I naively believed them and worried I wouldn't get into medical school because of it, which made them laugh louder at the stoned college girl. Ultimately they said they'd rather be called in a situation like this than a much worse one. They were super nice about it. Neighbors hated me because of the industrial fans blasting smoke out of the building that night. One of them yelled from her window that I was a pussy for not being able to handle a simple fire. I considered baking her some cookies, but decided better not.

I love that Garrett trusts Hannah enough to still work with Justin on her music. Most shows I’ve watched the guy would’ve had a huge problem with it and it would’ve created some drama.

I honestly dont think Garrett's dad going "yeah graduate it's tough for an 18 years old" was an advice coming from a good place. The man is jealous of his son and while he doesnt want him to disappoint him or his legacy, he doesnt want him to be better or more famous than him either. Thats why when he was winning in the match in one of the prev eps (after he saw hannah dancing in break room and got his groove back) his dad seemed completely pissed while clapping. He just doesnt want Garrett to exceed him. Also loving your reactions to this series! And all the green flag men in the series

Tay

Love y’all’s reactions to this show so much!!!🫶🏽 I’ve read all of the books & the changes they’ve made in this series make so much sense! The executive producer really handled this story with so much care.. such a great cast. Seeing these characters come from the book to the screen & it be done well is so dope! 🥰

Cassandra

The “some!” bit will never get old. I laugh every time

AllyBoo124

Hate Garrett’s dad, not sure if it’s already been said but I really liked this adaptation as someone who read the books but my one thing actually is that they made Phil (Garrett’s dad) a bit less bad. I feel like a lot of his abuse is v subtle and implied and doesn’t even show like how truly bad he was even now. The thanksgiving goes a little differently in the books and changes some things about the story so that my only issue with how they handled that but otherwise very great. You definitely get the point across but he didn’t boil my blood as much as he did when I was reading

Emily

Such a great episode. One thing I really love about this show is that it does a really good job at approaching really hard and tough topics.

Tara ✨💫

This episode was packed. They took the first 5 minutes to show us that Garrett and Hannah are now official and to show us time has passed. In the book, Garrett asks Hannah to stay and hang out at his house when they all had to go to practice and she decides to make them lasagna, so they kept that in the show during the montage. I really appreciate how this episode was handled right down to the song playing as Garrett and Hannah left his dad's house and when they pulled over to talk. For me, it answered questions that I didn't know I had and created more questions. Back in episode 1 when we first see Garrett getting undressed before he gets in the shower, he looks at his name on his jersey and he doesn't look happy, now we know why he has issues with his last name. Also in episode 1 when Garrett was trying to get Hannah to tutor him because he needs to play, she straight up asks if it's because he gets off on beating people up. The look on his face in that moment is triggering for him, but we didn't know why yet and then Hannah goes into that speech about how hockey celebrates violence, the fact that she doesn't like hockey and she doesn't want anything to do with Garrett, now we know it's because the guy who hurt her was a hockey player from her home town. In the book, it took a lot longer for Garrett to talk Hannah into tutoring him. He asked multiple times and tried to find ways to break through the wall she had around her when it came to hockey players. I'll be honest, the sarcastic banter between them in the book is fun. I wish they could've included more of that in the show. This episode also made me wonder if Garrett's history of casual hookups and the fact that he didn't do the girlfriend thing before Hannah was because he was afraid he was like his dad and would hurt a woman. I'm glad Answer picked up on that. Watching Garrett begging Cindy to leave breaks my heart each time I see it.💔 Poor Tucker wanted the perfect Thankgiving for his friends, it didn't turn out the way he planned, but for that group, it'll be a fun Thanksgiving that they will never forget. It will also be a memorable one for Garrett and Hannah, but for much different reasons. Answer, they started shooting S2 in June right after the press tour. I saw an interview with the cast in July and they had already completed 2-3 episodes. I believe it's scheduled to be released in 2027. Hopefully early in the year. In the meanwhile, I will be rewatching S1 over and over and over....

Tara ✨💫

Does anybody else feel that the nickname "Wellsy" should be for Garrett only? I get it's not your typical significant other name like babe, but I personally feel that Wellsy is a Garrett only name and the rest of his friends should call her Hannah.

nessa

MY FAV EPISODE XD

Tara ✨💫

:: SPOILER:: If you haven't seen this episode yet... . . . . Garrett didn't come out and answer Hannah in the car, but it was implied by his silence. In the book, Garrett was finally big enough to fight back when he was sixteen. He starled his dad when he punched him for the first time, but it never happened again after that. I've seen reactors who have said Garrett should just out his dad and not protect the "legend" reputation.

Yen

I want the remaining episodes now but I also don't want it to end!!! Aaahhhhh we're more than half way now

PJ

LMAO! 3:22 - ABSOLUTE funniest reaction to this shows scenes so far 😂 ..Oak “ everybody’s getting” ..insert first second of bj scene here 👀 .. meanwhile during first second of scene A turns his head towards Mason to look at him, but his brain just manages to perceive what happens in scene as he turns his head - never seen man turn his head back towards a screen faster 😂😂 And Oaks line dropping shortly after we just saw Hannah getting “some” with Garetts head between her legs ..so yup Oak does look like “everybody’s getting” some action 👀😂

Cristy

Deano Machino lol, MQ. To say next episode is my fave is an understatement. Your reactions are the highlight of my week!

Cristy

I noticed that too! Love it.

Hazzel

The celebration for Allie and Dean, sameeeee!!!

Mira Åkman

OMG SAME! Probably one of the best series ever made - and dare I say heavily underrated

Aubrey

Here is my take on Garrett's dad. If he had really been to therapy and was trying to be "better," there would have been an apology and probably some counseling with the two of them. Everything about that man is a manipulation. He only asks Garrett to come home for Thanksgiving because he is in the reconciliation stage of the power and control wheel with Cindy. He didn't do it for some altruistic bonding with his son--he did it because he assaulted Cindy and now he's trying to make up for it by fulfilling her fantasy of having a wonderful family life. Had that not happened, I doubt he would have even asked. I think that's what bothers Garrett so much. He gave his dad one more chance only to find out his dad was using him to perpetuate the cycle of abuse. That's WHY it's a cycle. His dad is using HIM to assert control over Cindy by dangling this idea that he's "trying." Garrett is upset for Cindy, yes, but he's upset that he allowed himself to be manipulated and, in a sense, vulnerable. This probably isn't the first time he's seen this exact scenario play out, but he hoped this time would be different. It's heartbreaking to watch, but it's devastating to experience. For those who have read the book--can you share how this scene plays out in the book if it doesn't spoil future episodes?

“Oh, awkward. Or not.” followed by the blowjob scene — that was the perfect commentary for it 😅😅😅

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

That was one of the toughest episodes of the whole show, and I loved it! They brought up some really important themes and portrayed them incredibly well!

sami Boo

I made a patreon account en paid to join your account just for this show. And I come to episode 3 just to see that the most important episode, episode 4 is not on here. Your reaction goes from episode 3 to 5. Where can I find your reaction to episode 4. This is ridiculous

Pat Mc

FYI, Zdeno Chara is a Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman who spent the majority of his career with the Boston Bruins. He was 6’9” in his stocking feet and a mean MF’er.

Katie Lee

You guys saying you were glad to see them “come together” without noticing the pun is absolutely killing me😂

Katie Lee

Ive absolutely loved witnessing the origin of “some” and then hearing you call back to it during your conversations 😂
