Still not buying Hal’s death for a second. Noah is definitely behind hal's fake body. We probably going to get an answer next week. Plus, someone help Sinestro escape from prison, which we might get it in the finale. The marcus thing its a good theory but you might be overthinking it

SO STRANGE hearing someone else do "Somebody Call a Doctor" Missed Quinn here, I hope his alright 🙏💙 I was abit jarred at the time jump at first, but they did a good job of explaining some stuff, still wondering if Hal's really gone or not, "Fortress of Storage" ha. "Everything You Have Is Because I Didn't Take It" what a line by John. Also had a good giggle over the 'Graffiti' there & DD's "Rocket" comment. 😆

Eboe Thrasher

Hopefully he didn't have to call the doctor! I vote that whoever has to fill in for Quinn in the future has to wear the white t-shirt for that reaction, lol.

Eboe Thrasher

They talked right over the reveal of Sinestro being escaped and then didn't mention it. I didn't hear them address it, anyway.

In the beginning, there is a bit of snow falling when the camera shows Hal by the window in the diner. Loved the callback to the temporary ring charge gimmick. Guy was knocking his ring on the jail cell, and he was doing it to antagonize John. Little did he know that the favor to get the ring and bury it with Hal was so that John could do the temporary charge trick and bring back Hal's backup copy.

great episode 🔥 & you guys missed when guy told john that someone helped sinistro break out of prison… also never would of thought no quinn would of felt this weird 🤣

Monica

Guy Gardner having his own new ring, means the Guardians obviously could've made John is own ring too. As we last saw John left the ring at the bar, and they just decommissioned it. Having John to take Hal's ring was of course their way of having John do their dirty work to fire Hal.

I was literally thinking "whens the last time MQ wasn't on a reaction" when watching When Life Gives you Tangerines earlier this weekend and then BAM. Hopefully it was just a small thing he couldn't get out of on a Sunday evening.

Marie RammGirl

Yea it felt so weird watching something without him there, the last time I saw that happen was when they reacted to "She's The Man"

Skrappy

Yall forgot one big important problem.....who broke Sinestro out of prison?????? 🤔🤔

Steven Jump

I'm confused. How in the HELL is it Hal or Johns fault for what happened to the town? It's the Manhunter and the Aliens seeking revenge fault nobody else's! Also why does that brat waitress figure that John owes her money?

Growing up, we ate dinner at about 5:30 or 6:00. Needed that time to go back outside to catch the daylight and play! As my siblings and I got older and our schedules became more varied, dinner was closer to 6:30 or so. I will say, when you have a little one, dinner is always early. Otherwise they eat solo and parents eat later...my family preferred eating as a unit so early it was for us.

That eulogy scene, to be laughing at parts and then immediately feel my heart sink with the "I hope I mattered" part, chefs kiss! Had my eyes water up, not crying but damn near close.

Wonder if the manhunter is alive in a different body, based on tissue taken out of her original body (like the chunk taken out of John's bicep when she grew his skin back). Is she the sheriff who's being super nice to John and had a relationship with Hal, after killing the original sheriff? She did heal the sheriff's pinky so probably had a chunk of her in storage. I don't know why it would happen like this 10 years later but maybe it takes a long time to grow a manhunter from scratch, plus that's how long Hal was in Spacekaban. Maybe Hal's reason for staying wasn't just to make amends but also to make sure it didn't happen again, something in his gut. And maybe that's why he got killed so easily, because he trusted the "sheriff" and she was able to get close. If sheriff is the manhunter then she knew John would probably come looking, partly to see why Hal died and partly to get the ring. So she called him in herself, playing the role of the bereft girlfriend, to gain John's trust. If John wins this round and kills the sheriff, I bet $100 the season ends on a shot of John's chunk of tissue in a lab, so he'll have to face a manhunter of himself / mistaken identity / Green Lantern impersonator in season 2. OMG, who's manhunter-John gonna try to sleep with? Superman? lol And maybe the kid actually becomes a senator by then and uses his influence to cause problems for real John, after John kills his manhunter-mom this season. (I haven't read any of the Green Lantern comics so I'm just spit-balling).

Kiss the Librarian

Yeah, I'm struggling with that, too. If they're pinning this on Hal, then apparently it's common knowledge Hal tricked the aliens to fight each other and the manhunter started blasting the town. I suppose it became Hal's fault when he jumped out of the car and left John to die (rather than working with John to have a potentially cleaner outcome), which should make it all Hal's fault and John the savior for killing the manhunter. But then, the whole town was in on the manhunter's scheme. She/it kept the hospital empty by healing people, and apparently they took the bargain of defending her with their lives when a fight came. So when Hal and John didn't believe their story and stayed, they brought aliens with them who wanted to capture their leader and it ended up killing a lot of people. Since the manhunter healed so many people, she must have chunks of all of them in storage, and I wonder if she can grow replicas of them as manhunters? Idk, maybe I'm way off. Even with all that, you'd think some people would have the sense to see that lasers raining on them from their former leader means the former leader was actually the bad guy. But I just rent here.

Kiss the Librarian

Hal had proximity, but also an alibi because he was imprisoned himself. Maybe it was Harry Potter.

Kiss the Librarian

Good point, maybe the tissue regenerator made a dead body from a chunk of Hal, and alive Hal is locked up somewhere? Being tortured? By Sinestro and Voldemort?
