This was a very nice surprise! Did NOT see any of the twist coming. Really well done!

This was shot back in March. We got rolling on the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter and forgot all about this one. Hope you all enjoy!

As always, we are grateful for all of your support here on Patreon. We can't thank you enough! Cheers!

Guys please check out his other film Snowpiercer! It's so good and deserves more attention! And there's no maybe reactions for it so it would be nice to see more! I've also heard The Host is also very good.

Great to see you reacting to this movie guys. They say it's a black comedy thriller. For me it's mainly a drama film. It's a painful but well made picture of a first world country, where the 'lower class' isn't a lot better off than in a third world country. But definitely with a lot of suspense and humor. I think the makers purposefully toned down the humor in the later parts of the movie to really deliver the main messages. Did the Appleton oak already see the movie?

Definitely going to watch this reaction. This film winning Best Picture at the 2020 Oscars was such a wonderful moment. It’s such a fantastic film.

I (Diamond Dave) just had a newborn so wasn't able to make it and I think Oak had to work at the Arnold Classic.

I'm a little behind on movie reactions... I've been hypnotized by watching The Sandman in whatever spare time I had (which I loved), but once I watch your Prey reaction this is next on the list. I REALLY loved this movie! It is well-deserved in winning Best Picture, Director, International Feature Film, and Original Screenplay in 2020 imo..... it was EXCELLENT! Then again, y'all always react to the bangers 🤘🏻

Thanks, Roxanne! This and Prey we're really nice surprises.

Such a great film! My interpretation is that the end (where the son earns enough to buy the house and free his father) is just a fantasy. The entire film is one big class study, and it’s so unlikely that he could rise from his class like that, even with such great motivation. I think it’s cool how “parasite” can be read both ways. Yes, the poor family hoodwinks the rich family and lives off their ill-gotten salaries, but the rich family also makes huge demands of poor workers (coming in off hours, ordering the housekeeper to have dinner ready in 8 mins, etc), paying them life-changing amounts of money that to the rich family is chump change. The rich family literally cannot function without their staff. So who’s the real parasite? Such a wonderful film.

Congrats on the baby and the gig! You guys should still watch it out off-camera when you get a chance, it’s such a great movie!

Did I choose the wrong membership level? I thought that I would be able to watch the movie with them. However, the movie is blurred with no sound.

Hello! These are all watch along formats. We give a little for syncing purposes. We have it labeled in the beginning and in the tier. Reason for this, copyright laws. We are not the owners of the movie property. With fair use we able to show some.

Really great film. And good way to look at it too.
