A very nice strong start to HOTD! The first episode didn't hold back from what GOT was at all. Please forgive us on the names. We will get it lol. The acting was fantastic! Story was great. Let's go to episode 2!

This has to do with frame rates. The USA outputs in 60Hz, 30 frames per second, where as Germany outputs at 25Hz and 25 frames per second. Sometimes instead of converting a video to the different video outputs, they'll just speed it up or slow it down to match the required output. It is not noticeable unless you put them next to each other in those situations.

It's because HBO got different speeds and video lengths depending on your region, i'm from Sweden and when i use a vpn in USA it all syncs up perfectly

Daemon is my favorite character so far because as you said, you first see him as a typical villain but as you go along, you realize that he is not as one dimensional as expected (he’s also George RR Martin’s favorite character and as the episodes go by, we understand why 😬) We’re going to see 10 dragons this season ! We already saw Rhaenyra’s (Syrax, the yellow one) and Daemon’s (Caraxes, the red one at the end) I’m excited for you guys to see the other episodes !

So hype for this show!! The show is based on one of my favorite stories of this lore, the dance of dragons. Also Rhaenyra is 8 generations separated from Daenerys!

It is so frustrating...i can't figure out why i can't watch along with anything you watch on HBO...we don't have HBO in Germany but House of the Dragon also is on Sky...so i can watch it...but If i syncronise it with your Video perfectly it takes 3-4 seconds and i'm out of sync i have to Pause my Stream every 4 Seconds to get syncronised with you again..it is as HBO plays it slower then other streams...i had the Same problem with the 20 year Harry Potter Video. 😭 I don't get why it isn't working...its just with the stuff you watch on HBO everything else works perfectly...

Have you tried using a different playback speed with the youtube video? This could potentially solve the problem.
