The final episode is here. This finale felt like a setup for next season more so than a big finale. Just an ok episode. What was your thoughts about this episode? How would you rate this 1st season? And will you be watching season 2?

The only reason I will watch s2 is cuz they know the effed up and they are too deep in to quit now. So much… the most ever money is riding on this. I’m Certain changes will be made

I think the big question for whether the show is worth it, is do you want explore more of the Tolkien Legenderium? Whether reading books or watching lore videos on youtube type things? It was frustrating. It's sorts the antithesis of GOT. Where GOT motto was "subvert expectations" to the extreme, ROP is all about (fluff) fan service, telegraphing what's going on. Let me say I liked the Galadriel with Sauron, but hated that they made him Sauron. I don't know what to say. There were so many good stories they could have adapted and they wrote this crap. Its the star wars sequels all over again, i despise even the force awakens. Just disappointed and it really has motivated me to get back to my own writing and fantasy writing

I’m returning to my original theory that the stranger is Gandalf. 😛 He does love Hobbits. And he is wearing gray. Since the show is titled Rings of Power, I wonder if next season will focus on the 7 rings for the dwarves.
