This was our Pixar reaction and this was a fun one! Out 24,000+ votes on YouTube 44% voted for this and now we know why! Did not expect it to get that deep with emotions at all! Great story, great emotions it pulls out of you. The graphics are top notch. The characters we fantastic! Disney really hit a home run here. Apologies for the potential slight blur. We are trying configure the camera to where it needs to be. We will get there eventually.

This film is phenomenal from start to finish. So many says it's only good for the first 10 minutes and I completely disagree, one of my favorite scenes is at the end when he's looking at the adventure book, I also love the moments when he and Russel are just talking. It's funny, colorful and all the characters are so likable and have great personalities, they were able to do that with Kevin who never speaks. There's a reason why this film is one of the only 3 animated films that were nominated for best picture. That was this, Toy Story 3 and Beauty & The Beast, all deserved. After this I highly recommend Inside Out, it's right up there with Up for me. These two are my favorite Pixar films, I really can't choose, they are both so good with really great scripts.

You guys should try PADDINGTON

Jill I

Sort of. It's live action but the main character, paddington, is sort of animated. It has very high ratings and a sequel was made due to its success. It's very funny, adventurous, silly, thoughtful & interesting (great takeaways too). You guys should check it out!

Don't know how I missed this reaction. This one hits so hard. Diamond Dave put it well— it's such an emotional journey. I'm so impressed only Oak was brought to tears. Any chance you guys might get to the Toy Story movies? To me, next to UP, those are their best, and also I think Toy Story was their first. As you guys work through the Pixar movies, I hope you get to see those.

Been using these to take breaks from mechanical engineering homework lol

Thank you so much! I also recommend checking out The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) on Disney+

The blur that I am seeing here is based on the quality of the video, which is at 360p right now. It usually gets up to 720P+ after a little bit of rendering on YouTube. If it wasn't YouTube's fault, then it may have been the exported video from your editing software.

I loved watching this with you guys. There are so many messages in this film and you will find new ones when you rewatch it. I also thought the lesson about Russel was really heartbreaking. He wanted to spend time with his father and said that he enjoyed the small moments he has with him. His father is so busy that he cant see he is hurting his son. He also makes promises to his son which he doesnt keep. This is scarring him. His father is his father, but his fatherfigure, friend and the one he looks up to is Carl now. They were both lost and found eachother. Animation films are, in my opinion, the ones that are the best in storytelling and giving life messages. There are alot of great animations for example: - Big hero 6 - Brother Bear - Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and many more. Just like "UP" dont let the name of a film fool you. Again great reaction! Im really enjoying my first week here on patreon with animation and Avatar. Thanks for being great.

Since you guys liked Up, you def would like this movie. It's very similar in terms of like the "Disney themes/lessons" and is a very sad movie like Up.

I just love this movie. I nearly forgot how much as I haven't watched it in a while. The storytelling from the moment Ellie and Carl were getting married till the moment she passes away is phenomenal. Telling a whole couples life with just music and images, which are universally understandable for everyone and all ages, is exceptionally unique and pure art. It brings me to tears everytime. Hoped for four 5 ☆ from you as I can't see a single thing that could have been made better. But that's just me. I'm happy I watched it again, this time along with you, guys. Really entertaining. 👍

Ginger

I like it most when all four of you are on to review together. 😎

This is one of my favorite movies. There's so many things that are so well done in this movie. The use of music and colors to help communicate to the audience the emotions that the characters are feeling is just so good. Since you guys enjoyed this, I highly recommend Coco, Big Hero 6, Treasure Planet, and Brother Bear. Just like this movie, don't let the names and the fact that they are animated fool you.

It's been so long since I've seen this movie. And seeing it when I was a high schooler compared to now almost 30 years old and a mother. Wow!! It hits so much different yet still such intense emotions. I can't imagine what it will be like to visit again when 60 or 80 years old. Perfect movie really. So many layers and so many valuable life lessons in it. Thank you for taking the time to watch it. I hope to see more Pixar reactions with you guys. This made my night.

Incredible time re-watching this with y'all 🎉 Thank you Oak for sharing your personal experience - wishing all the best to you & your family. This summer, we lost both of my grandparents/patriarchs of our family and we went through similar events with going through all their things. My Tata passed exactly 1 month after my Nana and in that time, he made sure that all the grandkids got a piece of her jewelry and even something of his own. Once they both were gone, there was a lot of distress over who got what from the house they lived in since the 60s. I told my dad that I only wanted all the framed photos of the generations of our family (which everyone else forgot) since the rest is just stuff. That message in this film hit really hard since everything is still so fresh. It was definitely a good cry and thank you guys for being so great ❤ Had an amazing time going through the rollercoaster of such a wonderful story and fantastic humor. Y'all are amazing 🤘

Even if minions annoy you, I think Despicable Me would be a fun reaction from you guys, it's hilarious and also great messages

Staypuft

No matter how many times I watch this, the story hits in the feels every time and honestly its one of the best films Pixar has ever done. Thanks for sharing your story Oak sendin' the love to you and your family brother. ❤

I don't think I've ever watched a bad Pixar Movie, been watching sincecthe beginning. Probably rhe first "reverse feeltrip" style I've I can recall watching atm, usually Pixar has me crying in the last quarter, not immediately lol

Miss_CJ

I always get emotional watching this movie. Everytimes I watch it, I tear up. I could be watching it 10 times in a row and it'd have the same effect on me. Happy to see you guys loved it too! Definitely need to watch more animated movies. There are many with great life lessons!

Stephanie

If you're open for more animated movies and haven't watched it yet, I recommend the Ice Age movies. They're hilarious.

Emilysr97

I recommend Rise Of The Guardians if you wanna try another animated movie

keara king

honestly all 4 of the Toy Story movies would be really fun to watch y’all react to! great lessons and emotional yet funny !

Yenni Huynh

Ugh this movie always makes me cry like a baby. I watch it about once a year when i need a good cry. Watching it along with ya i could barely hear anything because i was sniffling the whole time 😂 great review!

Badd Medicine

Sorry to hear this. Hope everything ends up well for the situation. Thank you for watching with us🤙

Meet the Robinsons is my favorite. It isn't a Pixar film but it is a Walt Disney Studios film. It makes me cry every time. The message really hits home for me even though I've never been in the same position as the main character. Big Hero 6 is another that I hold dear. I am definitely looking forward to more animated films in the future. Animation just allows for a magical element to storytelling that doesn't always translate to live action.

Justine Lovetro

Excited for this one. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster. They tell a better love story in 2 minutes with no words than most movies have in 2 hours. Can’t wait to see how you guys reacted to it.

Steven K

I second this wholeheartedly! All 4 are amazing. Definitely worth adding them to the watchlist!

My 2 favourite Pixar movies are Wall-E and Onward. Up is not
