Something I just found out - Not only was Kiera Knightley only 18, but her husband in the movie (Chiwetel Ejiofor) was 26, and Andrew Lincoln was 30. That means they were both in love with an underage girl for (?) years before the wedding. Girl was just outta high school. She was closer in age to the little kid than the two dudes in love with her. Edit to add: They filmed in November of 2002, and Kiera turned 18 in March of 2003, so she was actually 17. She would have needed her parent's permission to marry.

Well, I doubt the character was only 18. so they likely weren't in love with an underage girl. You can't compare the actors age with the characters.
