Ayla

The way I’m running back to my dorm room to watch this right now 😭

AyaaChann

Cant wait to watch this after dinner! Im going to sit down with a bowl of ice cream and enjoy every single second of the last part of your Avatar The Last Airbender journey ❤️🥳

Conor Moriarty

What a ride. Thanks for giving animation a chance, so many fun shows for you guys to watch

Mike

I couldn't be more amped!

Conor Moriarty

Isadora

Curtis Rice

Some of the best episodes of the series. Can't wait to watch Invincible along with you guys. Love the reactions.

Marquis keel

Yall gotta watch the spiderverse trailer then watch the indonesian version immediately after yall gone lose it

Graham F

Watching this before class I AM READY WILLING AND ABLE TO SAY LETS GOOOOOO

Riana Treshaun

I was so excited to start watching that I didn't notice the cabbage until the recap of the first episode lol

Daniel Silva

Just in time for lunch break, Let's goo!!

Vee

Counting down the hours until I get off work to watch this 🙌🏻

Amanda Milholland

Can’t wait to watch tonight! I hope you guys enjoyed how they ended things. I personally think it’s one of the most satisfying series endings I’ve seen!

Jam

The past Avatars tend to get mistaken as telling Aang to kill the Fire Lord, but really they're saying whatever you choose to do to end this war don't hesitate to do it.

Jam

Yh that's Kevin Michael Richardson....he's in everything especially animated stuff. The Lion Turtle is so ancient and his smell so strong it is considered the oder of the earth. That's why Nyla couldn't smell Aang.

Scott Bringel

Thanks for the fun ride guys!!!!! This shows gets better and better with each viewing. Watch it one more time Oak and I promise it’ll outmatch the emotion of Harry Potter!

Lev

That was great and that Azula Umbridge comment was hilarious 😂

Jam

Sorry Oak Peter Cullen the voice of Optimus Prime didn't have a role in Avatar.

Desi

After watching this whole series I have to know , for all 3 of you, who is your favorite character ? Please answer :) , so happy you guys finished it , I love your reviews !

Grace

So excited to watch this, joined the patreon specifically for this and it’s been well worth it!

L AH

Omg, Mason Quinn finally got out of his white shirt, it's weird to see him like that 😂😂 So excited for this series finale, it’s truly one of the best animated series ever created !!

Ron Banks

There's a live action Netflix Last Airbender series currently in Deveopment. All the main characters are cast, and everyone looks great! Also, did you hear the news about the Harry Potter HBO series they're working on? Finally.

Zen Reacts

One of my favorite parts of the overall finale is the final Agni Kai. Its really beautiful on multiple levels. The muted sound with the low roar of the flames if kind of haunting with music in the background being a bit more on the sad sounding side. Its sad that this fight between siblings likely came to be because of the way Ozai treated both of them. Visually the contrast between the blue and orange flames was incredible as well and against the darker background the color of the flames really stands out. Its probably my favorite fight in the series

ReDragon8700

favorite scene for me was when zuko left the fire nation are you guys gonna do korra as well maybe we can vote on it?

Desi

Also, Netflix is making avatar live action tv series ! The episodes will be an hour long each and it’s reported to be one of Netflix’s most expensive shows coming in around $15 million per episode with new technology they used to make the series !

Spree

oooh btw if someone hasn't mentioned this, bloodbending can only be done on a full moon when a water bender is at their strongest

Kelsey Roberts

Just so you're aware, indigenous cultures have told stories of a turtle with the world on its back for centuries, if not millenia, before The Never Ending Story...

Ryan

Took the afternoon off of work just to spend two hours watching this bittersweet finale! So happy you guys dived into this series. I looked forward to the drop every week! Please please please get into Legend of Korra while you wait for 10/10/25!

Saynt Michael

Great end to a journey. And you guys pumped out 66 episodes so quick. In that regard...Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is 64 episodes 😀

James Ventola

Wow you guys actually started this in like November... Crazy!

Stevie Dane

well, dont expect much of it. the original creators quit that project because of a disagreement, so i dont expect the story to go well. Knowing netflix they probably put a bunch of 'woke' messages in it, and make it a whole different vibe.

Brandon

I loved the journey with you guys, this is and always will be one of my favorite animated shows of all time. I look forward to more of the avatar universe from you guys in the future as well as more content from the avatar studios themselves.

Meike Tummers

So azula did not go to prison she was sent to an asylum on an nearby island and was constantly monitored

Zen Reacts

Oh if you want to know more of Azulas story after the series you should check out the comics

Meike Tummers

Also Zuko is at some point reunited with huis mom, you can find the whole story online

Brandon

And I like rating the series as well, should do it like that more often🤘

TacticalFox31

Don't know if you guys will see this comment. But this show has been a blast to re-watch with you. Also since you really liked this, Netflix has the show Dragon Prince. Which is written by the same person who did Avatar the last air bender. One of the main characters is even voiced by the person who, voiced Sokka. I really enjoyed it, and it just got a season 2 a little while ago. Not sure if that would be something you would check out. But just an idea for the future if you need a show.

Michael Doyle

this is why i joined your patreon i love qatching yall fall for this series and wanteding to share it especially

the continent

waitttt we didn't get your favorite characters! lol did i miss it haha wondeful reaction! One of my fave series of all time, top 5, animated or not.

GillyBean

oh i would pick animation, especially hand drawn animation, over cgi live action any day. you get the right artists and it'll be so much more spectacular than anything you could try to re-create realistically. I think you will see that with Arcane as well.

Sheikh Yerbouti

this was great! it went by so fast! cant wait till you guys start watching avatar korra!

RJ

avatar is rumored to have a tonnnn of more content coming soon; a earth bender series, a life action remake (that seems promising and actual martial artists) . Cant wait to see the korra reactions

Grace Stockwell

hearing the guys make all those excuses about Shyamalan's avatar movie makes me excited to watch their faces when they realize how much little effort was put in this movie

Chancey Rae

I watched Avatar The Last Airbender as a wee little child growing up and never did I think as a child this series would have such an impact in my adult life. I have learned a great deal of life lessons within this series and through all the reactors that I have rewatched it with. Now in my late 20's I can easily say I have rewatched this series over 50 times and I feel every single emotion that a person can feel every time. Thank you so much or reacting to this series and giving me another excuse to rewatch it again! Here a few of my thoughts/easter eggs: 1. My thoughts on the Lion Turtle and the ability to bend some ones energy: No matter what all the countless past avatars told him, Aang stayed strong in his resolve to not take a life. Because of this the lion turtle saw him as worthy seeing as he wasn't willing to give in. The past avatars kept telling him that if they had acted sooner they wouldn't have lost something. So basically they regretted not taking action, however Aang was someone who no matter what Firelord Ozai did, it didn't change or bend his morals and make him think like "I should have killed him off sooner." He kept true to himself and it's his unbendable and uncorruptable spirit and dedication to his beliefs which is why I feel like Aang had earned the turtle's unbendable technique. 2. When aang's scar hit the rock, it unlocked the chakra that wasn't letting him go into the avatar state. I always appreciated the moment where Aang takes control of the Avatar state saying he doesn't want to end it "like this" meaning with violence and Ozai calls him weak. There's something really powerful and beautiful in Aang staying true to the teachings of the Air Nomads to end the 100 year war that started with the genocide of the Air Nomads and their culture. He is the last true Air bender and it was their way of life that ends the war peacefully and creates a smooth transition of power. 3. Zuko and Aang both have lightning wounds from Azula. Aang's wound is in the back while Zuko's in the front. Literally, two sides of the same coin, as throughout the series their journeys and experience were parallel to each other. 4. I love how all the times that Aang and Katara have kissed through this series it is Aang who kisses Katara, but for their final kissing scene it is Katara who kisses Aang first. <3 5. The scene where Azula screams and cries is the saddest scenes in the series. She is only 14 and she literally had the world in her hands, which is what she's been conditioned to want for her whole life. I see her breaking down as acknowledging that she has nothing now and she knows it. Her whole charater arc and story is truly tragic. Literally her whole life she felt a lack of love and abandonment from everyone. She thought her mom saw her as a monster and left her. Her dad who abandoned her in the finale for her to stay in the palace when she wanted to be with him. Her abandonment by Iroh who saw her as just crazy. Her abandonment by Zuko as he never felt close to her at all and when he switched sides and fought against her. Then the icing on the cake was the betrayal by her friends and being abandoned by them. Her literal defeat was because she was becoming more and more unhinged as more and more people abandoned her in life. She thought even after all these abandonments that being a firelord would be enough or was at least lying to herself about what she wanted but she clearly wanted more than that due to her breakdown. When she finally lost her battle, she saw katara's bond with Zuko and that she, herself had nothing left, no bond nothing and broke down in tears. She was a tragic villain. I also think that her ending is done very well particularly in contrast to Zuko who found himself while she lost herself even more 6. The voice actress for Azula said in a interview once that when she recorded this scene everyone left the room to give her space and privacy to get to such an emotional state and be able to perform such an raw and emotional performance and she also has said that she has never watched the episode due to the overwhelming emotions it brings her. Congrats to you guys for all being a part of the ATLA universe I am sad it's over, but I can't wait for what's coming ahead!

Marco Gutierrez

I remember starting this series months ago and thinking it's going to be forever before we get to the finale, but man what a journey. I'm glad to see that you guys shared some of my thoughts on the finale as well. There are two big errors that I think we're made with this show, and both of them were in this group of episodes. One being the decision to make energybending be a thing instead of forcing Aang to learn the lesson that sometimes you have to sacrifice what you want to do what you need. The other was him magically getting the avatar state back just because he was hit in just the right spot. Ultimately, for me both of these stem from the same place: avoiding the consequences of their actions. Aang made so many bad decisions previously like deciding to hold on to Katara instead of focusing on his duty to the world, and yet he never has to pay for these bad decisions. Despite all of this, I don't think the series was ruined. It just wasn't as good as it could have been

Marco Gutierrez

I wouldn't get excited for anything that Netflix makes. They've butchered the Witcher, butchered Shadow and Bone, butchered Stranger Things, butchered 13 Reasons Why, and so many other series'. It's not a platform that facilitates real storytellers, just a bunch of talentless hacks that write fanfiction with other people's intellectual property.

Tony Moreno

Please do legend of Korra next

PrincessAzula7

Thank you! I adore Azula's complex character and always love when someone really digs deep into her background. I feel a lot of people write her off as just a crazy evil villain but she's got so much more depth than that.

Zen Reacts

They said they are doing Invincible next then Arcane and that Korra is on the list for the future

Miss_CJ

There are so many great moments but my favorite ones would be: -Toph teaching herself to metalbend -Aang and Zuko doing the dragon dance with the two masters (the last dragons) -When Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph invaded the Earth Kingdom to try to talk to the king (the fight/the bending/everything) -Katara fighting Hama and learning to bloodbend -Katara facing her mom's killer and doing the right thing -Sokka learning from the swordmaster and making his own space sword. -When the Kyoshi Warriors found Appa and took care of him and made sure he escaped Azula to finally reunite with Aang -All of Uncle Iroh's lessons and wisdom It was amazing to go on this journey again, with you guys. I'm a bit sad it's over but it's such a feel good series that wrapped up perfectly. I can't wait for you guys to get into The Legend of Korra, but also, I'm excited for Arcane eventually. I cringe just thinking of the fact you guys are going to watch the Live Action Avatar movie lmao. I can't wait to see your reaction.

Samantha Blagec

AHH Just seen this posted, can't wait to watch and see y'all's reactions. I know The Legend Of Korra doesn't get as much love as this series, but I'd love to eventually see y'all watch that it is one of my favorites. It'd be such a fun experience especially since they leaked another sequel series to come in 2025.

Brianna Boucher

Pleaseee react to the movie bird box next!!:)

Chancey Rae

Your Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts. It's just like modern day society people always writing off a person's mental illnesses by saying they are just "crazy".

Mintteacup

I'm glad you guys are watching the movie and ignoring what others are saying. Regardless of what i think of it, i do think it will be hilarious to watch with you guys XD

S. Goose

Legend of Korra next? Then The Dragon Prince, right? Let's keep this awesome animation train moving!!

Angelina

WHAT A FINISH 🔥 thoroughly enjoyed watching this with y’all 👏 This was my comfort series in my tweens and it still holds a huge place in my heart ❤️ INCREDIBLE job and fun ride with y’all 🤘

Manny D.

“Woke”. Really? Also Avatar is “woke” by right wing definition. Diverse cultures and nations banning together to stop fascism? Respect for people’s cultures and identities? The main character preaching non-violence and love and tolerance? Female empowerment? I could keep going. All woke buddy. Also the creators themselves would definitely agree with that. Michael Dante DiMartino compared America under Trump to living under the Fire Narion so I really don’t know what you think you watched when you watched this show.

Manny D.

I can’t ever watch those last episodes without being emotional 😭😭😭 what a great ride this was to go along with you guys!!! So excited for future reactions, especially to Legend of Korra!

Manny D.

Oh also the lion turtle and the turtle from Neverending Story: Avatar takes a lot of inspiration from various Asian cultures. There’s multiple World Turtle stories in Asia. That was the inspiration for both!

Nate Terry

I love the finale! I enjoy old Masters. Ive watched it several times. Note: the past avatars didn't actually tell Aang to kill oozai. Roku said be decisive, don't kick the can down the road or it will get worse. Kurek said actively shape your own destiny, don't let others shape it for you. Yengchen said don't take anything off the table like killing. keep yourself open to possibilities. But Kyoshi's advice was my favorite. Only justice brings peace. Only the avatar can end this conflict. Iroh can't. Zuko cant. remember, there were plenty of fire lord sympathizers in the fire nation. The avatar is the balance. he/she is the referee. their call is legitimate. Aang ending oozai's reign was literally the most moral way to end the 100 year war.

Ginger

Oak must not read the comments because several of us have commented since early on that Mark Hamill voices the fire lord. 😛 No one mentioned the music. I think the music in the series is fantastic and moreso in the four part finale, especially the music during the fight scenes between Zuko and Azula. The finale is epic and what makes the series as phenomenal as it is. I never thought to compare the lion turtle with Morla in The Neverending Story.

Ginger

Sadly I will not be watching Korra with you guys. That show made me hate it in the second season with something they did and I refused to continue watching it. Even before that point, I didn’t really like the show. I did not feel a connection or liking for any of the characters.

Tetiana Revenko

I enjoyed it so much! Love the finale, it is always a mix of emotions . Everytime I rewatch these series I feel a bit sad they ended...such a journey! So happy to see you enjoying it all the way through and falling in love with characters :) As well waiting for 2025 series about their young adult adventures, hope that will be as great as this one :) Anyway, that was an incredible experience and journey with you, thanks a lot ! :)

Ivan Rasmussen

Man what a journey it's been. Thank you so much for letting us join you on your ride through Avatar, it's been a blast seeing you guys enjoy it! Also love all the shirts, cabbages, and Avatar Oak haha. You guys are awesome

Samantha Blagec

@ Marco I agreed with you until you said Stranger Things. That show has been going so strong and it's probably the only show I've seen them make that I consider done right. Otherwise yes, they usually crash and burn things, but we will have to see how it turns out. I've seen a lot of affirmation type comments from different cast members involved saying the production involved are true fans of the show so I hope that means they will be doing it justice.

Samantha Blagec

Also, if any of y'all are personally interested in storylines of after what happened they do have a nice amount of comics telling different stories for different characters throughout the series, not just the main gaang.

Sipporah

Netflix is actually making a live action adaptation!!!! You can even take a look at who they cast for the characters. The original creators were on board for a bit but dropped off for some reason. But the live action by Netflix is still on the way!!! Hopefully they’ll do it well. I believe Netflix is doing it as a series. I’m hoping they won’t ruin it like the live action movie.

Anna Du

I wasn’t a big fan of Invincible and stopped after ep 1 but I’m so excited for you to react to Arcane and Legend of Korra afterwords 😆

Niravathu

There were at least 175 Avatars before Aang, counting the statues of previous Avatars in episode three reveals approximately 181

Elias Flores

Yeah can't wait for that. Been waiting for a teaser at least but nothing!! Maybe this month or next for sure. 🔥🥹

Oulianor Timothee

the last agni Kai, the final battle, and the Gaang vs the earth temple guard are the best action scenes. if you guys get time you should watch the uninterrupted cut of the last agni kai on youtube.

Oulianor Timothee

Wow!! this was awesome, what a journey! Man, thank you guys for doing this.

Oulianor Timothee

Oulianor Timothee

suppose to be coming this summer but they got us here waiting with baited breathe: no posters, no teasers, trailers, nothin 😒😤 i mean we got a cast list but Avatar News released most of it before Netflix confirmed anything.

Karen DeCosta

The original creators and Netflix made amends, and by all accounts this series looks just amazing. There's a video out from the stunt team - that they did in their spare -time- showing preconceptions of earth bending with a Toph stand in. Even that was amazing. I'm stoked! I think they're type lipped because Netflix is expecting it to explode like Stranger Things, Squid Games, or Wednesday.

Elias Flores

True that! 🙏🏻 and hopefully with the cool cast n everything they put in n working for the past 3 yrs since before the pandemic hopefully its a hit!!!! 😌

Belzeref

It has been an amazing journey to go along with you guys! My favorite part is the fight between Zuko and Azula, they really did that part well with the colours, music and the sort of muffled sound of it, absolutely stunning.

Yassine El Allati

fuck im hyped for Korra. I really think the topics in there will hit hard. ATLA is still the best of the two but ATLA in general is one of the best shows ever! what a ride guys

AyaaChann

Thankyou for giving this series a chance and ended up loving it. I would advise you all to read all the comics first. They show what happends in between the episodes and what happens afterwards. I know you hate Azula but i will always feel bad for her, i think you'll come to understand why, the longer you're in this 'fandom'. From the moment her father saw she was a prodigy, he favoured her and gave her all of the attention. Zuko and Azula's mom (Ursa) saw what happened and gave Zuko extra attention. Azula saw what she did and tried to live up to her fathers expectations. He created the person she became. Im not saying she wasnt bad from birth. But because Zuko received the love from his mom and afterwards, the love, help and wisdom from Uncle Iroh, he was able to become a good person. Without Iroh he would never have been the person he is at the end. Azula never received any kind of love. She was raised by her father to control people by fear and was taught that becoming powerful and intimidating was very important, filling her mind with evil and ridiculous ideas. Again, not to pity her but if she would have received any kind of love and support Zuko had, she could have become a different person. At the ending she felt betrayed by her only friends and totally lost it. The ending where she is chained up and cries always makes me emotional. Though she deserved what she got, her story is sad just like Zuko's is.

William Smead

I'm not crying, you are. Seriously guys...you guys are the best.

lordazula

guyssss u left the last episodes audio on! i had to put yall on silent and just look at ur reactions which kinda defeats the purpose lol

Señor Spicy

THANK U SM FOR THE REACTIONS! I watched this since day 1 with you guys. It was the highlight to my week. I hope to see you guys react to The Legend of Korra soon!

Violet

would love you to continue the avatar journey with the Legend Of Kora which takes place about 50 years after the events of the ending of season 3 and follows the next avatar and the problems that came from ending the war. just because they won the war doesn't mean that all problems are solved... looking forward to it :)

yumia

No ratings you guys gave would've changed my personal ratings of this show; however, I've never smiled as hard as I did when I saw those 5s. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it. It's been so fun! So stress-relieving and genuine. I can't wait to go check out your other stuff until we get to Attack on Titan. Ty!!! ALSO: huge shout out to Answer lol. The way he did so well at not spoiling things. I get so excited about this show I wouldn't have been able to hide my emotions.

travis keaton

If you enjoyed Mark Hamill playing a bad guy, you may enjoy his work as the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. It is a high watermark in the history of animated television.

Andrew Gamez

This was awesome. Question will you guys put up a vote for the next cartoon/anime series to watch? I'd like to see you guys do other stuff like this outside of movies. Digimon, dbz, Naruto be good choices. Loved getting to see you guys watch and enjoy avatar as I did back in its original run. Keep them coming.

travis keaton

The live action sucked so bad. No respect for the source material. Also, hoping you continue with Korra. The fans seem to be divided on it, but I think it's well worth the watch.

Oulianor Timothee

There's this writer on YT who did these analyses and video essays on Avatar. Two of his videos are on the Psychology of Zuko and Azula which are top notch. They're a bit long being about 54- 90 mins but they're great. If any of you guys would be interested in that his channel is hello future me.

WhoDatPanda

Please do Legend of Korra, its so worth it.

Imnomoon

my fav in all this is watching the answers face in discussions :D him trying not to crack is everything :D

Imnomoon

you will never understand the emotional turmoil being a teenager online was at the time of this airring, I was such a hardcore Zutara shipper, it was the first fanfiction I ever read, I think me at 14 cried for a whole month at Aang and Katara ending up together instead of Zuko and Katara. I literally participated in a whole TP and egging houses battle at school between the 2 shipper factions of the time.

Imnomoon

There is an interesting study on ATLA soundtrack on youtube I saw once, it is trully a masterpiece considering it was doen in half a day or so each time weekly without getting full storylines or episodes to see beforehand and at that time with that budget, I think it's some of the most iconic tv music ever done to date, the sounds are all so distinctive and wonderfully done.

Badd Medicine

Invincible and Arcane are up next. Then Korra and attack on Titan. 😁🤙 Naruto unfortunately, will not happen due the very high risk of channel strikes and revokes. It happened last week to more than a handful of channels. Not worth the risk.

Badd Medicine

Great stuff here! Good call out on #4 and #6 very interesting to know. Pretty cool they did that. Thank you for watching with us 😁🤙

Andrew Gamez

Nice all are good. Need to finish attack on titans. Sucks for Naruto. I know you guys would have liked it. Hope one day you guys do something big like that one day. Love the content and keep it coming

Monae Laudat

The zuko azula fight you really felt how sad it was that their family history tore them apart. Great brother sister fight scene.

Ashley Faith

This is funny, I'm stoked for Invincible and Korra but never really tried Arcane. Love how there's always something for everyone.

Anna Du

I stopped watching Invincible after THAT scene bc it was so sad lol and I didn’t watch Arcane until MONTHS after it was released bc the art style wasn’t really my thing but omg it was amazing literally drew me in and now I crave for more shows in that art form + plot and lore is so deep and crazy

Brynn Busalacchi

A perfect show, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say otherwise. My sister, Dad and I watched it when it came out when I was in middle school. We never missed an episode and I will never forget how magical the experience was. Also Netflix has been working on a live action show for the last few year, it has a bigger budget than Game of Thrones I believe. Everyone is holding their breath to see if they can pull it off!

Melbell

So happy you're doing arcane, just saw your live action reaction and couldn't stop saying it's bad, it's just bad, favorite moment is a throw back when aang met avatar roku at the crescent island fire temple cause it kind of gives you a vision of what aang needs to overcome, great reaction!!!

Jai

Loved watching the series with you guys, I'm glad you got to finished it and kept with the commitment - which I really appreciate because there are so many of them.

RogueOstriches7

The Avatar universe is unlike anything else out there. The wonderful use of Chinese martial arts to control the elements works so perfectly gor fight scenes and the story and lessons continue to be relevant and hold weight, and it's a cartoon! Now you guys can move on to the next Avatar, Korra, who i relate to so much!

McStick

yea make it an exclusive with higher cost ill pay you 10$ per month lol

SYNTRY 9169

So, Legend of Korra next?

SYNTRY 9169

This was my favorite show as a kid, and now 20 years later, now that I'm older and more mature, I love this show even more. I am so happy that you guys enjoyed this show as much as me. It truly makes me happy seeing other people share my feelings about a show that(was not only from my childhood) but WAS my childhood. Though, funnily enough, I only ever was able to catch reruns. Also, something cool, Not only did Jason Isaacs play Lucious Malfoy, voice Admiral Zhao, but he also voiced the Grand Inquisitor in Star Wars Rebels. Which until you guys pointed it out, I didn't realize it was Jason Isaacs.

Logan Andrepont

I watch this show when it first came out. Me (9 at the time), my dad and brother (12) caught up with the show near the end of Season 2 and it became the show we watched together every week till the end. Easily the top 5 if not the best show that I have ever watched. Glad you all enjoyed it.
