Legend of Korra 1x6CLUS FULL REACTION

Comments

James Ventola

The action scene was awesome, but the music to go along with it was just as amazing.

Geoffrey of Monmouth

My pet theory is that it was actually Amon who payed off the refs--it's still too early for him to take the Avatar's bending (like he said in e4), and what better way to make an entrance than to wrap his movement back around to oppressive benders than to guarantee a particular winner?

The Legend of Korra definitely has some really great fight sequences. The OST is also outstanding.

That's a good take but I believe the Bat guys paid the referee. I don't think they would intentionally and blatantly commit fouls like that if they weren't confident the referee would allow them. Just my opinion tho xD

That's possible too! I read it as they started cheating more and more as they realized they could get away with it--all of their cheats at the beginning are small things. And even when not cheating, that kind of thing happens IRL all the time to, feeling out what the refs are allowing that day

Have I just missed the YT cuts for these?

Ivan Rasmussen

Chief Beifong is honestly one of my favorite characters from this whole universe. It's like a mix of Spider-Man and Toph, two amazing characters.

I actually believe that Amon might have been prepared to take on Korra in the middle of the arena in front of the whole audience, but things didn't play out that way with the cheaters. He said he was saving her for a special moment...(paraphrased). What better time to take on the avatar then in a giant spectacle like the pro-bending championship?

They're building up like usual for a multi-episode drop on youtube, like they did for ATLA

Oulianor Timothee

I remember watching this episode in college and it got me so hype, the fight sequence in this episode was really cool.

Ah, cool, thank you! New patreon member, wasn't sure why things are not on YT in the UY cuts yet.

I forgot how dark this show is compared to TLA ….When he took Tahnos bending I got chills !

Charlie G

Rewatching this show with y'all, I forgot how good the fighting choreography and animation is, Korra kicked serious ass in this episode

Eric Wallace

The ropes that befong amd the police use are metal cables, that way they can bend them

SYNTRY 9169

The Pro Bending Tournament definitely has a Road to Wrestlemania feel.
