I'm hoping it's like harry potter where they can continue it and it matures. Not to the level of stopping, but I somewhat agree with the feeling. Also the first book just isn't as crazy tbh

Loving the African American centered movies. I feel like so many of them don't get covered. Y'all should add Think Like a Man to that list as well. Some other recommendations I have are Turning Red and Enchanted.

Not a spoiler but the show doesn't get better. They introduce a few new characters, Lin Manuel Miranda makes appearances but that's all. Acting isn't great in the show tbh, including the lead.

This is what i thought but i didn't want to get flamed by twitter. All that hype for a product that feels extremely unfinished. my main gripe is the fact that it doesn't seem like a show you could get into unless you already know what/who percy jackson is. And even then... it just feels so empty, and rushed. I liked the movies because it feels like they had a personality and knew what they were going for even if it wasn't book accurate. TV series is both trying too hard and not trying enough. It's dull.

I really liked the show. I'm a fan of the books too and I thought some things were disappointing and needs work but i had fun watching it. I thought every episode was better than the last other than episode 6
