I’m still dubious (I think some of the casting is poor and the acting could be improved in certain areas), but after having binged this season during a slow day at work, it’s eons better than the film and This is apparent from the very first episode, thank God! 😂 Sokka and Gyatso were by far my favourites we get introduced to in episode one! Wow, I just can’t express how ‘Sokka’ Ian is. He embodies the character perfectly! He’s genuinely my favourite amongst the main trio in this live action (and although I enjoyed Sokka, i wouldn’t have ever considered him a favourite in the original animation, so that’s saying something). Strongest performance of episode one imo. Gyatso’s role and connection to Aang was truly done justice when compared to the OG. Just loved every moment when he was on screen.

I completely agree with this. The Sokka casting is spot on! And I love that they kept the original end credit music. Nice touch Netflix.

Ive been debating joining the patreon for a while now but after binge watching the show yesterday I just needed to check if you guys already saw it and when this turned up in the list I just knew it was time 🤣im so excited to see you react to the rest of the season. In my humble opinion they’ve done a very good job. Not a carbon copy of the original but its own thing and that s honestly all I wanted from it. So I guess Ill see you on the next one!

I need reasons to watch this netflix adaptation. Badd Medicine watching it is good enough.
