BONUS!!! We had to get one more in for us and out to y'all. After this one expect weekly drops :)

We are honestly enjoying this so far. The magic in “Warriors” came from the acting. Tamlyn Tomita was stunning as Suki’s mom, Yukari. She filled the smaller role with great nuance. Her confrontation with the stellar Ken Leung as Zhao was a high point. The core cast delivers such earnest performances, that you can almost feel the respect they have for their characters. And they have done extremely well on the special effects.

So excited, I had to do a double take to make sure the notification was in fact true. The Kyoshi Warriors are my absolute favorite! Let's go!

Eric Dontae

Niceee Reaction 💯💯I Cant Wait Til You Guys Finish The Series, No Spoilers But The Last Episode Is Pretty Sad😩😩Thanks For The Content

Abi P

thanks for dropping this! for me, the show really started to come into its own from ep 2 onwards. ep 1, I kept comparing it to the cartoon. looking forward to ep 3 to 8 reactions!

Eric Dontae

It's not it's actually a generalization if i tell you that law & order is dramatic its not breaking news😂if i say the end of shrek is hilarious its not breaking news at all

Eric Dontae

You gotta remember its not a redo its a remake so instead of comparing it to the animation, just enjoy the references, the writers said they don't wanna do the exact same thing but rather show us scenes we've never seen

Momo is so dang CUTE and Kyoshi lives up to her reputation: a badass unyielding merciless warrior

Raquel Perodin

I really love the adaptation. It’s not 1:1 of course but it’s adapted to real world circumstances and it makes a lot of sense. Loved Kyoshi, such a badass! She did not channel Aang till season 2 but I loved that she did here. Again with Suki it makes so much sense here. She’s kind of perfect in the animation. I like how they gave her the I want see the world angle to her character because it just makes so much sense and it makes sense that she would be awkward around a stranger. Loved Sokka too it makes sense for him as well because they are similar. Looking forward to the next reaction!

As a big fan of the original and someone who had read 90% of the comics, this show was a solid 8.5. I like most of the changes. The only thing is the secret tunnel episode did some stuff I didn’t like (trying not to spoil). Sometimes katara felt off and I didn’t love that they took out aangs bad flirting but over all it was decent. I just hope that Netflix doesn’t cancel the show with all the talk on the internet saying it’s bad because it wasn’t the exact same. Anyways great reaction and I can’t wait for AoT and Percy Jackson this week!

LaLa

I mentioned on the YouTube comments but I thought I'd drop a line here: If you guys love Daniel Dae Kim you should check out Raya and The Last Dragon from Disney. It's a really sweet movie that I think you would appreciate the action mixed with the heartfelt moments and silliness. Daniel has a smallish role but he does it so well and ends up really anchoring the main character. Great reaction and I can't wait to see your upload of the Omashu episodes!

Oak was mentioning at the end 4 seasons for 4 books. There's only 3 books in the cartoon since Aang already mastered Air. Also Aang didn't channel Kyoshi during their first visit to the island, but later in the show when Kyoshi was on "trial" for causing the death of that one warlord.

Banana Hammocks

I hope oak starts to talk about the lessons again. Every episode of the original show has a purpose and a lesson to teach while telling a non stop entertaining story. episodes 1 and 2 of the live action do have changes but they still hit all the important lessons the characters learn in the original story. theres a couple moments in the later episodes where i think the changes have us miss out on lessons the original story tells and id like to hear oaks perspective on it

Deborah Rogers

I like that the show isn't scene by scene. AND staying true to the characters, love what they are doing with the show.

Spice Light

I like how they did Momo. Not really liking how they are making Aang not want to learn to bend the other elements. An interesting twist how he connected with Kyoshi. Loved the fierceness of seeing her in action.

Scott Bringel

The show overall is very good! When Zhao first spoke I thought he sounded like a mildly excited middle school geography teacher and couldn't unhear it, but he grew on me.

Alyssa Dyson

I liked this episode a lot more than the first one. 💜

Kel

I liked the first episode okay but this one felt a million times better. If the rest are this good, I’m here for it. So happy to be watching for the first time with you guys!

Agle Tõnts

I like this show . Its much better than movie. I like its little different. Not exactly like oringinal. I like it.

Hailey

So Ian (Sokka) and Dallas (Zuko) have prior martial arts training but everyone got 6-8 weeks of bootcamp before shooting. Ian said that actually, the hardest part of filming was these scenes with Suki. He had to basically unlearn his martial arts training to now look like a beginner and clumsy

Amy Petty

No, it's pretty spoilery. You ARE telling them something in advance that directly influences what they expect and affects how they will approach that episode. It is spoilery by definition and it's just unnecessary. Why do it?

Eric Dontae

It wasn't even sad shut up stop crying nobody cares about your opinion honestly

Amy Petty

No need to be catty, guy. You're the one who said it was sad. Ah yes. "Shut up stop crying nobody cares about your opinion honestly" - the juvenile and ungrammatical response of someone getting defensive and betraying how much they *do* care about my opinion.
