Hi!

In a much more morose tone than usual, I discuss the long-term effects of chasing intensity and edges. The ones we tend not to talk about.

Enjoy!

This is very thought provoking (as usual). I really love face slapping! Unfortunately a partner did it poorly and I sustained a mild concussion. This was on top of at least one other concussion from being hit by a car, and probably some very mild ones in childhood from horseback riding. Anyway, I was hit by yet another car while riding my bicycle! (I think the only truly safe way for me to travel from point A to point B is not to do it at all 🙄) This time my concussion was devastating. It’s taken me 1.5 years of intense therapy to get mostly back to normal. So I don’t do any impact on my head or neck anymore, nor do I get thrown around, as whole body impact can jar and damage the brain even if I do t hit my head.

It's not off-putting for me to hear you're feeling lonely. I'd expect it. Most of us feel it.
