Hellooooo, November! 🍂

Revisiting this set from, what I believe was, my first workshop event after the pandemic began. I was filling in for a last minute cancelation and modeled alongside The Scorpio Sisters, if you're familiar. I think their names are Scarlett and Shayna. It was a pleasure meeting and working with them, but I was really off my game during this shoot. I hadn't been in a setting like this in awhile, I felt out of practice, I was a little nervous, and felt incredibly uncomfortable in the new curves and rolls I'd acquired during those stressful stationary months in solitude. Most of my clothes didn't fit me correctly and I had no idea how I'd be perceived through the lens. I really hated these photos at the time. They're definitely not my best, but I can appreciate them now. I've toned up some since 2020, but I was fine here too. It's hard to appreciate yourself in the moment sometimes... or a lot of times. Can you relate?

I do love the tones in these shots. I wish my hair looked better but I guess it had been a rough year! I had to retire the bodysuit I'm wearing - it was already on its last legs and squeezing into it for this shoot was its last straw, hahah.

Spooky season is now over, but autumn is in full force with colorful leaves painting the wind and ground. Any Thanksgiving plans? A first for me, but I'll be in Florida for the holiday. Not sure it'll feel quite the same, but we'll see. Change is nice. I'm not really a fan of the holiday anyway, but it's nostalgic and I never turn down yummy food.

For reaaaal! I feel that way so much when looking back at old work, especially from when I was like 18-22. I thought I was so fat but at times looking back I now think I was almost too skinny. It's so wild how your brain can distort you reality and perception of yourself. And YES THANK YOU 💕✨
