I am all about gorgeous upscale hotels with fantastic lighting, and this was definitely one of them. Hard to believe this was nearly 2 years ago now. Time is such a blur and sweeps by so fast. I'm glad I have so many photos to help commemorate my existence on this earth as well as assist my brain in remembering all of these stepping stones throughout my life.

Technology may be scary in some ways, but the advent of personal and accesible cameras has made documentation ever more possible and attainable. We all have forever photos and videos right in our pockets; though I guess the irony in that is that "forever" can be erased with the click of a button or a minor glitch in the system. But, in a way, isn't that kind of the same way our brains work? Kind of.

It may not be so easy to delete a memory, but we definitely do change them over time and forget so many aspects of ourselves and our existence. The smallest little glitch in our brains can change the course of our lives; but our minds also hold all of our precious memories and emotions and thoughts and feelings.

Life imiates art. Art imitates life. Which one is it?
