Alright, a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the poll a leaving valuable input - When combining the votes from both Patreon and YouTube, the two sectors that seemed to garner the most interest were Programming & Animation Cut-scenes. I'm going to use that information to inform how I'd like to navigate our path through Unreal, but I'll talk more about the specifics of that in the next video -

Also, quite a handful of you volunteered to share information and help the community with your experience in Unreal. So, I have decided that I will be opening up a private discord on the Squad here to organize and help gather what we know here into executable short videos. Though, it will probably take me a week or two before I have time to set it up, but I'll make an announcement here when I do decide to open it up. I really appreciate those of you who volunteer to pool in your experience, I'm sure we'll put together some excellent useful tutorials for those looking to follow in your footsteps :)

Anyway, the next video is on it's way, so I'll see ya there!

All the best,

-RS-

Would Integrating AI into the workflow be a consideration? Specifically for programming?

RoyalSkies

Yes, we will be integrating AI anywhere it saves time in our workflow - But, I'd like to at least be somewhat comfortable with blueprints and c++ before I start asking AI to help me code - I'll ask the Squad Volunteers on discord things I don't know first, and if nobody has the answer, then we might bump the question up to GPT 4 lol

Might I suggest asking AI to explain how to code specific functions and provide sources. I am under the impression that AI is an extention of the GoogleFu and YouTubeHowTo school of learning. Edi: Auto Didactic was the term I was looking for.
