A quick thing to note. Because of how bad X-Men Origins: Wolverine did, they practically and purposely forgot that it existed. So everything that happened in that movie was treated as not canon. First Class was used to gain the audience’s trust back as a true prequel to the first 3 movies. Which they succeeded.

Yeah. Charles was so cocky when he was younger. Very intelligent with a good heart… but was such a know it all.

I still get irritated by Darwin’s death. His power is literally to adapt to survive. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ADAPT TO WHAT SHAW DID!!!

They watched that man lift a submarine out the ocean and really thought he was gonna let them shoot missiles at him??? Not smart!

Plus, this was Fox trying to use their X-Men rights to play catchup to the MCU (I think Avengers came out a year after this?) and build their own series the same way Sony tried to use the Andrew Spidey films. Fox arguably more successful at it...

Yeah the most common gripe among fans is in no way should Darwin have died. Other than that it was pretty liked

You were trying to figure out which setting the school was the whole time when it was the house we saw Xavier in at the very beginning 😂 The “devil” looking mutant’s name is Azazel, which is a fallen angel/demon in different religions or cultures. Or as I just learned, signifies a sacrificial ritual of a goat (scapegoat) from the bible Cutting to Darwin on that one line was crazy, but the same way it applies Jewish people, it applies to us black peoples too 😭

Was that brunette lady also in Thor? Cause they look similar or am I tripping?
