What do you do when the world’s most famous atheist mocks and insults you on international television, in universities, and throughout social media?

You look to the Bible and see how Joseph was humiliated before the time came when God opened a big door of opportunity for him. You see how Moses was abased before God opened a big sea for him. You take comfort in the Scriptures—in the knowledge that those who trusted God were often the object of “cruel mockings,” in the principle of humiliation before promotion, of God taking someone low before raising them up for His use.

And that’s precisely what happened when Ray Comfort was christened “Banana Man” by Professor Richard Dawkins and then mocked worldwide by the atheist community.

It was then that something strange and wonderful began to happen. Millions came under the sound of the everlasting gospel, all because of that humiliating name: Banana Man.

So, if you’re afraid of looking foolish as a Christian, not only will this true story fascinate, delight, and encourage you, but it will also help you see God’s hand in your life and bring your own fears into perspective.

“What an appealing story! Banana Man will show how you can bear sweet and lasting fruit in this often hostile world.” —David and Jason Benham

“Last night I received the book I ordered and stayed up past my usual bedtime to finish it. I enjoyed it so much.” —April Hendricks

“I just finished reading Banana Man and loved it!” —Chad Williams, US Navy SEAL

“I can’t eat a banana anymore without thinking of Ray.” —Hemant Mehta, FriendlyAtheist.com

“Stop! Put this book down and back away slowly. My book is better. Read that instead.” —David Silverman, President, American Atheists, Inc.

Hey! Hume lake is awesome. I went to winter camp with 'my' babtist church (IYKYK) but it was the best part of having to get involved in that hell house. Once a year from 6th to 12th grade, it almost made having to go to that church worth it.

I used to worry my avoidance of “religious topics” disguised a fear I might be “reactivated” in later life.. I now realise it’s so I don’t get into trouble for attacking them with some form of bat.. (Cricket, probably). Thank you for giving me space to express this dark desire.. The world is now a better place..

Maggie

I’ve been loving these bonuses sooo much!

I was NOT prepared for Tom's New Zealand accent.

Every time these God dipshits bring up banana design, I want to show them pictures of what bananas looked like before human intervention. You know, the actual designers.

Diego Guzmán

omg, this episode XDDDDDD amazing

Woodsy Boredom

I'm going to write a novel about a former child star who becomes an evangelical christian after spending a week in an Italian villa with a bunch of nobility who amuse each other by telling charming stories. I'm calling it Kirk Decameron.

William Evan Barnes

Oh Heath, the brain is made of fat. It's mostly fatty tissue! It's like 60%

Ronan da Rosa

I thought I would listen to this right before sleep. Bad idea. Tears in my eyes laughing.

Chelsea Goulton

Is there any link to where you can watch the original “performance”?

Gmork

They must have edited out so many gibbities.

Graydon Armstrong

Really looking forward to more of this. I was laughing so much.

Jared Harris

That opening round was my everything. Thank you for the much needed smile.

Oxford Comma is Mandatory

The complete lack of awareness in general of Ray is funny and astonishing at the same time.

Grant Cosper

I hope this is monthly, so great.

Daniel the-vegetarian-blacksmith Sullivan

As someone who is deathly allergic to Bananas (latex, avocados and apples too) I love when they try that on me. Instantly starts the problem of evil conversation.

Chelsea Goulton

I could only see the one with Kirk Cameron, but that’s good enough to get the unfortunate point across. As an NZer - I’m sorry lol

Meadhands

So embarrassing listening to you guys participating in Ray's humiliation kink.

Moriar

I now imagine Ray showing up to a debate with Eli, carrying a bouquet of pugs.

Sunday Morning Hotdog

I am super excited for the next installment of Banana Man! I've always loved Eli's Ray Comfort impression, and these series where he reads a ridiculous story as the author are some of my favorites.
