Listening in archive days after Trump found guilty of trying to influence the 2016 election

Brian Masters

That's a great new show idea, though i'd go with Tithing Atheists

I've always pronounced it as 'row'. I thought 'ow' was the incorrect pronunciation. Interesting. Please tell me you pronounce 'melee' as MAY - lay not, MEE - lee. :)

Oh, you have a life, my friend. One filled with adventure and imagination. No shame found here!

Erik

meh-LAY :p

Don't worry Noah, I thought the Preakness joke was very funny. Even though it didn't seem like anyone else got it. You're reaching your audience one fan at a time!! :D

The Gray Hunter

Haven't listened yet... but I love it when you guys do the 70s. Your jokes are hysterical on the surface, and below because it's so obvious you weren't there! (a great example of this is the GAM cast of the "Star Wars Xmas Special". You guys are (rightfully) baffled as to how such a disaster could even get produced. Many in the 70s were too... but what you guys aren't getting is that expectations and what was acceptable for TV were very different from expectations of what was acceptable for film at the time. This line has blurred quite a bit since then. The jokes are even BETTER because of the minutia lost to time.)

Liz Rosenberg

I LOVED this episode-- and yeah, it's very very timely.

I hate all Irish stereotypes too. As soon as I finish this beer; I'm punching someone.

I was 12 the day Nixon resigned. I also had the stomach flu, so my brother-in-law drove me 5 hours home from my sister's house. Since he was a journalist, we had NPR on the whole way. As I listened to the details of Nixon leaving the White House, I had to keep leaning out the car window to vomit up eggplant parmesan. I always associate Nixon with vomiting and eggplant.
